I'm thrilled to find a new pho place that's 5 minutes from my house, cute and clean with nice jazzy music and in a large strip mall with ample parking. Their sizzling rice plates are amazing (a little on the higher price) but for convenience, I'll take that. Their mini egg rolls are very tasty and very authentic (wrapped in actual Vietnamese rice papers)! Overall, it was a nice experience and I would go back. The only downside is that they did not have pho oxtail or pho short ribs. In addition, they lack Vietnamese chè (sweet dessert drinks). There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants around the San Jose area but I am so obsessed with this one after stumbling upon it. So much so, I go at least once a week! The problem is I can never decide on getting the sizzling pork chop or the custom pho. Pork chops have such good flavor, not dry at all. Tasty! We decided to try this restaurant after seeing their ads on Facebook. The interior is spacious and has a high ceiling, creating a great atmosphere that made us feel very comfortable, especially with the boost chairs and air conditioning. We ordered the House Special Pho and Fried Rice SaiGon, along with two Kumquat drinks. The Pho was presented nicely and even came with a side of saw leaf! The fillet mignon was tender and juicy, and the hot and flavorful broth had a rich meat flavor. The Fried Rice was good, served sizzling on a hot plate, and wasn't too oily like other places. The Kumquat drinks were just okay, but we didn't have high expectations since the restaurant specializes in pho and main dishes. The drinks could be improved by being less salty. This new spot is a gem HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHICKEN PHO. The broth is on point. I can tell very clearly the sweetness that comes from a REAL BONE that they use to make the soup. Very high quality food They have 2 sizes which are small and large. I do like the large size as it has way lotsssss of meat I also had the lemonade which is fresh and not too sweet! I've had this dish at a few other places and always like it. However, this was by far the best I've ever had. The sauce/seasoning was delicious, the rice/lettuce/bell pepper/tomato were great too. We came on a Friday night around 630p. We ordered the egg rolls for the appetizer.
