NEW OWNERS! Disregard only bad reviews this place was an awesome hole in the wall homey spot. The staff was so kind to me priced we're fair for the quality of the food. The entire place was so clean I loved that they had sriracha and hoisin plus the chopsticks spoons on the table already so convenient. The bathrooms were so nice and clean, food came out quick and HOT! So fresh. I had the grilled pork spring rolls and vegetable egg rolls as well as the hot rock pho. The meat was so tender and I love a hot soup and it comes out still boiling because of the heated up bowl it comes in. The new owners deserve some business so definitely recommend stopping by for the best bowl of pho in town! read more

The restaurant is located within a small shopping mall strip, and it looked good from the outside. Upon ordering the food did come out hot but it's very mediocre, nothing to write home about. The soups do come with their traditional sides and a good size portion for lunch but more broth than noodles and main proteins. Had a coupon for a Tea for that specific restaurant and was told that it was no longer valid even though I had just gotten it off of yelp that day. This place is amazing, I can't get enough of their food! I've ordered pick up and delivery sometimes twice a week because of their quality and freshness. It's a nice change since the surrounding area doesn't offer much of a variety when it comes to food. I moved here from California and this definitely reminds me of the many amazing and authentic Pho spots back in Orange County. I had to come on right now and write a review because i tried a new dish (their sweet and sour chicken) and absolutely loved it. Keep up the amazing work! read more

Last night My husband watched 3 workers come out of the men's bathroom, waiting to take my son. He went in and there was NO SOAP! He was immediately grossed out, he went and told the worker at the front who walked out right before him and my son that the bathroom was out of soap and he was like "oh it is -shrug " I had been before and the Pho was very good. We went last night and again the Pho was very tasty, great portions, though it was a bit pricey 1 pho, 1 kids, 1 orange chicken 2 drinks $40. We won't be coming back because of the no soap/hand washing and the guy at the counter seemed inconvenienced to take anyone's order, not friendly in the slightest. I ordered delivery of the Bowl Noodle Soup and Autumn Rolls. Delivery happened within the expected window, but when I opened my bag half of the Pho broth had spilled out of the styrofoam container and into the plastic bag around it. This wouldn't have been a problem except the bag had a hole in it so I ended up with broth pouring out of the bag and all over my counter. I ended up with less than half of the broth for dinner, which was very disappointing since the broth was delicious. The rolls were good as well. This would have been a solid 4 star location except for loss of half the broth and the mess that I then had to clean up. read more

Best Wonton Soup EVER! Soup is always my favorite dish! The broth is for sure very cathartic. If you are feeling under the weather this soup should be a MUST! The taste offers a perfect combination of wonton, zucchini, carrots and mushroom. This place is very accommodating and friendly! Love the burst of color in their decor! I don't know what happened to this place, but we got carry out today and it was DISGUSTING! The pho was opaque (a good pho is brown but clear) and incredibly salty. If I tasted it with out knowing what it was, I would never guess pho stock. The meat-served on the side was extremely dry and hard. It was stiff not soft or supple. To add insult to injury, it's came with carrots, mushrooms, and zucchini. Who the hell made this? They clearly have no idea what even mediocre pho is. I threw it out after one sip of the broth and eyeballing they vegetables. Absolutely appalling. For some reason my husband decided to order pad Thai. Once again, it had no resemblance to the dish it was supposed to be! It was drenched in a Tomato-based sauce. Fee it to my toddler bc he doesn't know the difference, but it was an affront to Thais everywhere. This is why Asian food in San Antonio has such a bad reputation. This place used to be a solid 3, but now it is the worst "asian" restaurant I have ever been to. read more

Fast and nice service, but not great food. I ordered grilled pork and fries spring rolls( number 55). The pork was too dry and not flavorful. The fries spring roll was okay. the veggies come with this can be cut into small pieces, so that it can be mixed more easily and tasty. The fish sauce wasn't enough. I should ask for more next time. This is probably the best bowl of pho in San Antonio. I've been to about 10 different pho places here and to me this takes the cake. The meat is juicy, the broth is flavorful, and the veggies are really fresh! I was excited to use my Groupon for Pho Place. My dining companion and I ordered a large bowl of steak pho, an order of veggie and tofu chow mein (which was lomein) and VN grill with grilled pork. VN grill is Vietnamese Bun. The bowl of steak pho was big so we asked for another bowl so we could split it. I was surprised that the steak was already cooked. Whenever I go to another pho restaurant, the steak is raw and it cooks in the broth. The cashier brought us individual sauce dishes filled with hoisin sauce and Siracha. He told us to dip the steak in it for more flavor. We thought that the pho was tasty and we would order it again. The veggie and tofu lomein was decent. The VN grill was presented beautifully. At the suggestion of the cashier, we ordered it with 2 spring rolls for a dollar more. The spring rolls were crispy and not too greasy. The grilled pork was dry and chewy. I would try another protein if I ordered it again. Overall, Pho Place is a convenient stop for a quick bowl of pho. read more

The Pho is decent, but I want my soup piping hot and slowly work my way through it, this one is not, like they just heat it up before serving it to you. And the miniature "chia gio", what's up with that? 4 little pieces for $5.50 For ambience and service, i give it a one star, just because I am a very conscientious tipper, in this place, do not sit right away, go and get your fork and spoon, napkin, and drink. My mistake I sat right away expecting that it will be given to me. It might not be a big deal for some but it is for me. I don't feel I need to leave any today. read more

This place I great for pho ! Their is delicious and not too salty in my opinion. I've always ordered it to go and my order is as ordered. I usually get the brisket and meatball pho. I usually love summer rolls but don't order them from here only because their peanut sauce isn't very good. I wasn't a huge fan of their Hahn mi either If I stick to the pho and crab Rangoon's I'm a great big fan!! read more

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. This place is extremely nasty. I found hair in my food when I ate here a couple days ago. I have a friend who used to work here and told me all about how she would find hair and bugs in the food and the managers would tell her to simply "take it out and serve it" and would get mad at her for refusing to serve it. For that reason, she quit because who would want to work for a place that's so disgusting? Never coming back again. read more

Best Pho In San Antonio, especially to go! They give you a huge Styrofoam bowl of broth, whatever your meat choices are, and veggie choices are- on the side. The side container of meat and veggies is completely stuffed. Onions, green onions, leeks, carrots, and tons of rice noodles, etc. there's also 2 sauces in the box to add to your pho. We prefer low carb, so instead of noodles- we do extra veggies! So good. Adds broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and more cabbage. So good! read more

Five stars for service...Ordered delivery and it was fast and everything delivered correctly and hot. Service over the phone and the delivery guy were both very nice. Food I would give three stars. Don't order the seafood Pho, they replaced the mussels, squid and tiny octopus that used to come with it. Now you get imitation crab, imitation squid and some unknown piece of seafood. You still get shrimp though. Other than that the rest of the Pho they serve here is pretty good. read more

Pho is one of those things that is really become a comfort food for me. I don't know what it is, but I love it. It must be the broth. It seems that their broth is a bit more fatty than my favorite Pho spot. But it's delicious! The little fried spring rolls are great and I usually inhale those little suckers! Long story short...
