    Vietnamese Crepe
    Johnny Y.

Fine, nothing special. If anything, a bit disappointed. Pho ga - 7.5/10 Solid chicken pho. Quite enjoyed it. A little lacking in the amount of chicken, especially for getting an XL. Only clean chicken breast, which is great. Vietnamese Crepe (banh xeo) - 0/10 Sucked, badly. Like, non-edible badly. Unfortunately disgusting. Don't get this here. I've had delicious Vietnamese crepe before at Jin Thai in Chicago. This isn't it. Greasy, gross, 3 shrimp (laughable), large slices of non cut pork, soggy, massive pile of bean sprouts and onions. Thai milk tea was tasty - boba inside could have been better. Inside was nice and bright. Service was good.

Love this place been coming here since I was attending high school in 2015 Love the family and they remember us! The inside is very clean and love the music that plays I love how big the menu is and how it's caters towards a lot of different dietary restrictions. I usually get number 15 but felt like trying the oxtail pho because of a review. TBH not my favorite but loved the broth so much! Definitely one of Chatsworth favorites especially on a rainy day!

    Vietnamese Egg Roll (qty 5)

Ordered pick up through their website and everything was pretty easy. Ordered 4 different types of pho and 2 large orders of Vietnamese egg rolls The pho was tasty and they loaded us up with the accessories aka Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime. For an extra $1.50 u can go from regular to XL for ur bowl. The Vietnamese egg rolls rolls were DELICIOUS. They were large and loaded with pork/veggies and crispy fried. The fish sauce to dip was heaven and they also provided a good amount of Romain lettuce and mint to wrap our egg rolls. BOMB. Solid spot for some comfort food.

Went off a recommendation to try a new Pho place. Spring rolls with peanut sauce-4 stars. Vietnamese egg rolls-5 stars. Egg Noodle Soup With Wonton & BBQ Pork-4.5 stars. Service was quick and good. The ambiance was great! Love the big dramatic art of ingredients.

I actually had high hopes for this place. After seeing the good reviews from fellow yelpers and a recommendation from someone, I had to try it out for myself. Just like a lot of pho places, they're in a strip mall of some sort. This one was part of a mini corner lot with parking available. A small lot but decent. We were meeting some friends for dinner which we arrived before they did. Friday night thinking it would be mobbed but there were actually loads of tables available. Everyone that was already seated were utilizing the booths that surround the restaurant. In the middle are tables which weren't utilized. We got seated along the tables where the windows are off the street side. At the beginning, service was great. Menus were brought out which they practically had everything on it. Your traditional Vietnamese dishes, hot pot as well as well as seafood boil. It was quite impressive which was also a good thing and something we wanted to check out. It did take us a while to order as there was so much to go through as they all looked quite interesting. I tend to know what I want but still, everything looked quite good. Started off with some beers while still going through the menu. From there we ordered some starter of the shrimp spring rolls and banh xeo (Vietnamese pancakes). Springs roll, 2 per order but cut in half's to 4 pieces. Nothing special about them. Banh xeo on the other hand was quite tasty with just the right amount of crispy ness and stuffed with shrimp and accompanied by the greens. That was a tasty dish and i do recommend it. The sauces that come with the roll and pancakes were quite nice too. As for entrees, it was a mixture of everything. I love me some oxtail pho. Which they had the X-Large oxtail pho. First impressions, there was nothing X-Large about it. The size was pretty much basic. But they did give a good option of the oxtail which was nice. Broth was ok, and the condiments that came with it minus the green pepper (jalapeño) which wasn't there is alway good added. It's wasn't what I expected. There was also two order of the banh mi, one with shrimp and the other with beef. Out of the two, the shrimp was way better. I do like it with a lot of the pickle veggies and jalapeño which would have been great. The beef on the other hand, it was a major miss. I expected grilled beef chunks of some sort but when it was brought out, it was basically thin slices. A major fail. Also an order of the fries which had a nice dipping sauce both ketchup and aioli. Lastly, an order of the fried shrimp. That was quite nice with big size shrimp and batter and fried to a nice golden crisp. Served with both ketchup and aioli sauce too. The food was ok, nothing major to rave about with what we ordered. Banh xeo and the fried shrimp was a hit. The other, oxtail pho and banh mi were a dud. But after the starters came out, we had emptied bottle and the emptied plates that needed to be taken away for room. When one of the servers came out with the pho, we asked if they could clear the table a bit so there would be room for the entrees, he just brushed it off as it wasn't his job. Ok, understandable but he then just pointed to someone else and just walked away. Another entree came out which, we literally had to explain to him that there were no room for the plates. Even with us gathering them and to show him and with the bottles. We actually had to flag one of the host guys down to actually help clear the table. Mind you, only the booths were utilized and it was still hard trying to get someone's attention. Even with the bill which we also couldn't get anyone's attentions. I had to walk up to get someone's to acknowledge us. Overall, I expected to much from all the great reviews from fellow yelpers. Could just be the night we went with the service. The place wasn't crowded which it was still a little ordeal. Overall, they'll have a good clientele and regulars. I expected too much from this place with high hopes but I don't think I'll be back. The menu is quite impressive which is a plus. But our visit, it was lacking.

Phonomenal oxtail pho. I come here at least once a week and the consistency is there, along with the quality. The oxtail meat literally falls off the bone-tender, juicy, delicious. The broth tastes very clean and the noodles are yummy as well. I like to kick it up with a bunch of Thai basil, jalapeños as well as the hoisin and sriracha sauces. Very delicious! The spot is pretty big with 20 some tables and the service is great and ran by this very nice Vietnamese family. Will definitely come back!

I like this place, just tired it for the first time recently. We were looking for somewhere with vegan AND meat options. The menu has a lot to choose from. I really appreciate all the vegan, vegetarian options. I got some bún dish #100, my partner got some beef pho. We both liked it. Interior of this place is cute and not sterile like a lot of boring gray restaurants are nowadays. The only thing I don't like is how far away it is from where we live. It hit the spot though. Check it out if you're craving Vietnamese food + are vegan or vegetarian.

I give this place 5/5. The food here is consistent good. They really do their best to ensure they provide a good quality whatever it is you order. The pho that I ordered was flavorful and it was a good portion and mild spicy as I wanted it. 5/5. Fried chicken was cooked well and juicy inside. They seasoned it well. I'm impressed. 5/5. Inside is clean, the service was good and they always check on you incase you need anything else. This place never fails as a me of my plan B place to go to. Although parking it a little tight. Street and parking is an option.

I've been here a few times with my family and we enjoy the food and service here! The ambiance is casual, cultural, and homey, nothing modern or hip which is fine by me. I've had their noodle soups and pho so far and all have been delicious! I must say their prices are higher than what I'm used to paying at Pho So 1, but their wonton noodle soup and other hard-to-find soups are special and it's Chatsworth so maybe that's why? I've had their: Bun Bo Hue (BBH), Vegetarian BBH, Wonton and BBQ pork Egg Noodle Soup, and Dry Egg Noodle with Soup on the Side. I appreciate that their staff checks in on you which is hard to find at other Viet restaurants haha. Parking can be right given they're in a small plaza, but we've always found parking.

Bun grilled pork and egg roll

A friend recommended this place and it is a keeper. When I pulled up the place was super busy. It took about 15 minutes to be seated, which is not bad and the service was great from the start. They have an extensive menu with lots of items. I usually eat the same thing whenever I go to a Vietnamese restaurant, I love bun. I ordered the bun with grilled pork and egg roll. The food came out very quickly and it was fresh and cooked to perfection. The pork had a beautiful texture. The egg rolls were super tasty and the vermicelli and salad mix was exceptional. A friend had the beef PHO with baguette and told me it was excellent as well. The ambience was great. There was a lot of energy in the room which holds a few dozen people. The prices were super fair and the quality was exceptional. I will be back for sure!

Service: friendly and pretty quick Space: open and lots of tables Food: delicious and full of good flavor. I got their chicken rice porridge which hits the spot on cold or rainy days. The flavor is insanely full. Also recommend their mango smoothie!

My mom said, she was gonna treat us all to dinner at 8pm on a weekday. We called first and they said they can accommodate us but will be closing at 9pm. We got there and looked at the menu. My brother-in-law said omg we been here before but didn't eat here. I opened the menu and was blown away but their prices. We both started lol because now I know why he left. (Overpriced) As I looked at the menu I liked how they have hot stone pho soup, pho with short ribs, banh xeo, seafood boil, and etc. I can't tell they are trying to keep up with what's trending. I told my family let's just give it a try. I'm glad we stayed. The food was excellent. The pho broth was a little on the dark side but packed with flavor. It was so rich, silky and perfectly seasoned with all the spices in pho. The meat on the short rib was falling off the bone tender. The bo nen was fire. I wish they added cheese tho. The butter on top did make the dish better. The suace and butter melted together so well. I wish I ordered bread to dip into that beautiful sauce but my son asked me if we can share rice instead of bread. Overall everything my family ordered was on point. Everyone enjoyed their food. This restaurant is definitely expensive then most pho restaurants in the valley but it's a cute family owned restaurant with a great cook. My son and nephew kept asking us to get them fries. I said nope after dinner we can go down the street to get fries. I'm not spending 11 bucks on fries. So I asked the owner if their fries homemade or big portion? Why is it so expensive. She said it a big portion but not too big. So, I said does it come in half size because the kids wants fries but polly won't eat a big portion. She said no sorry. Then towards the end of our meal she said since it's your birthday we decided to give you guys free fries. In all honesty thank you so much for making the kids happy and filling their tummy with fries. Their fries were nothing special so I'm glad we didn't order it. However the dipping sauce that's homemade was delicious. My son is not into sauces. He doesn't dip his chicken nuggets or fries into any kind of sauces. But yesterday he tried their sauce and loved it.

Felt like having a little soup today. Decided to give this place a try. I'm glad I came. I ordered a seafood soup and my daughter ordered a beef soup. We also ordered an order of BBQ pork spring rolls. We were both so happy. Place was busy, yet we were seated right away. Our server came almost immediately and took our order. No kidding, our food came out in less than 10min. We were really happy. And will definitely come back again.

We lucked out and got the last booth before the dinner rush. The place looked exactly like it did last time we came. Staff was still friendly. They don't accept cash, only cards/tap to pay. Their menu looked different. Wish I had taken a photo. You have an option to build your own boil by choosing your protein, sauce, spice level and add in's. They still don't allow you to mix garlic butter and lemon pepper sauces. You're forced to get the Kickin mix which includes Cajun even if you're not a fan of that flavor. They also have a kids menu with 2 choices, appetizers and family combos. Always intimidating ordering from a menu that doesn't disclose the pricing up front. That's the weirdest thing. Even restaurants in Beverly Hills have pricing on their menus. We got the family feast which feeds up to 4 people and had a combo of crab, mussels, shrimp, sausage, rice, potato and corn which was about $107. (Side note, they charge 50 cents for a pair of gloves and they do not provide you with a little towelette to wipe before or after your meal) This I have to admit was a pretty good deal considering it's a good amount of seafood. They serve it to you in a large metal bowl. We asked for mild since we had toddlers, but because of the Cajun in the sauce (that they force you to get if you want garlic butter and lemon pepper flavor) it was more of a medium, and the kids could not tolerate the heat. Which wasn't a bad thing since that meant more for us grown ups. Ordered them a side of truffle fries which was not too bad actually. We also ordered some of their specialty drinks which come in huge cups. We tried asking for two small empty cups so the kids could share our drinks, but they refused to provide that to us. According to the waiter, it's the restaurant policy that they can only provide water cups, but we have to figure out what to do with the water inside. (Insert face palm emoji) Also they do not provide buckets for your shells so we weren't sure what to do with all that water but drink it. The cups are thin paper cups to pair perfectly with those gross paper straws. By the time we finished the water the cups were pretty mushy already. Needless to say we couldn't finish all our food so we asked for it to go, reluctantly as we hoped they weren't going to try and charge us for those to go bags as well. Pro's: they brought the food out quickly. The food tasted freshly cooked. Con's: don't know where to begin. Parking lot sucks since it's shared with multiple other businesses. There is no place for you to sit and wait outside the restaurant. You'll need to stand outside by the parking lot and pray you don't get side swiped by some crazy driver. Menu has hidden pricing. They charge 50 cents for gloves and do not provide wipes for after your meal. They don't provide a bucket/container to place your seafood shells so it gets mixed in with your other food on the table. Can't even ask for an empty cup for kids. They don't let you customize your sauces your way. Sad to say after all this time my review for this place is still a solid 2 stars.

The waffle tasted very artificial, and the butter and syrup seemed like the cheapest possible quality. It really needed more seasoning and a little more salt to bring out the flavor. To top it off, the wait was much longer than expected, especially considering there were only a handful of customers in the restaurant. The place definitely has potential, but based on my experience, the reviews didn't match the food I was served.

First Visit -- Disappointing Experience…read more We came in last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived--there was only one other party of two. Our party of 10 was the largest group there, yet the service was still very slow and disorganized. I ordered six seafood platters, and I was honestly surprised by the portion sizes. When I hear "seafood platter," I expect something substantial, especially based on my experience at other seafood restaurants. Here, each platter was served on a large oval plate but contained just about enough food for one person. Each platter was supposed to come with rice or fries, but our side dishes did not arrive until we were more than halfway through our meal. I also had to remind the waiters twice about a refill of water for our pitcher after I had already requested it. The temperature inside was another major issue. The restaurant felt extremely hot and uncomfortable. There were only two industrial fans blowing air toward the middle of the room rather than toward the patrons, leaving our entire party sweating in the corner. The bathroom was even worse--it felt like a sauna with little to no air circulation. The service continued to be poorly timed throughout the meal. We were already about two-thirds finished eating before the buckets that are typically provided at the beginning of a seafood meal were brought to the table. These buckets are intended for trash and shells, so by the time they arrived, we had already been managing our shells and waste without them. Then came the bill. A 2.5% surcharge was added to our check. This was not listed anywhere that I saw on the restaurant's website, and it was never mentioned by the waitstaff. I only noticed it when reviewing the receipt. The digital receipt states: "to maintain our food quality and to improve services a 2.5% surcharge will be added to every check." I found that explanation particularly frustrating. Why should customers be charged an additional percentage specifically to fund improvements to the restaurant's food quality and service? Those are things I would expect to be included in the prices already being charged. There was also a discrepancy with the large-party gratuity. The restaurant's website states that an 18% gratuity is added for parties of six or more, yet I was charged 20%. I took a timestamped screenshot of the website showing the 18% policy and have attached it along with a copy of my receipt so customers can see the discrepancy for themselves. Finally, they were unable to print a receipt. The waiter had to figure out how to send the receipt to me by text. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will be our last. We came in hoping to celebrate my daughter's birthday and enjoy a nice meal together. Instead, we experienced inadequate portions, delayed side dishes, repeated requests for basic service, an uncomfortably hot dining room, poorly timed table service, an undisclosed surcharge, and a gratuity discrepancy between the website and our actual bill. I always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, especially when visiting for the first time. But with a party of 10 and a bill reflecting both a 2.5% surcharge and 20% gratuity, I expected a much higher level of service and transparency. I would strongly recommend reviewing your bill carefully and comparing it with the restaurant's posted policies before paying.

The potatoes and corn soaked up every drop of flavor. If you've been to Boiling Crab, this is definitely playing in the same league. Service keeps things moving, even when the place is slammed. And it usually is. Every time I've been, there's a crowd waiting, which tells you everything you need to know. People aren't standing around for mediocre seafood. The restaurant is casual, lively, and exactly as messy as a good seafood boil should be. Grab the bib. Accept your fate. It's giving... Finding Nemo if the fish had one really bad day.

Was able to try this food truck that was parked on my street. Haven't had a seafood boil in a while…read moreso I was pretty excited. Got the special #2 with lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potato for around $34. I got a mix of mild and spicy Cajun for a good medium spice. The first thing I noticed was how much flavor was in the sauce. The sausage, corn and potatoes were all great. The shrimp was good, just takes a little work as normal with seafood boils. I would prefer an option without the head-on. The lobster tail was the only mild disappointment, due to the meat being a little tougher than I'm used to with lobster tail. Overall the food was pretty good and the service as well. I'd try it again to get the crab leg and shrimp special.

It's a small hole in the wall place. It's cute, but don't expect a fine dining restaurant experience. They're currently advertising Dungeness crab at $23 per pound, but you don't know how much your piece weighs. Mine ended up costing almost $70, and it was definitely not worth it. That didn't include any sides either, I had to pay extra to add corn and potatoes. I also ordered garlic bread on the side, and it was the worst garlic bread I've ever had. It was soft, soggy, and had absolutely no crunch to it. The kids' chicken tender meal only came with two very small pieces of chicken. I was expecting more for the price. There was only one staff member serving the entire restaurant, and you could tell she was getting overwhelmed. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and for spending almost $200, I did not leave satisfied.

We came here as a family of six and had an incredibly disappointing experience. We ordered 3 phos:…read more2 P1s (the house special) and a P6 (short rib pho), along with two pork chop dishes. Unfortunately, almost nothing hit the mark! The pork chop was completely dry! My son took one bit and wouldn't touch it again, and my mother had to force herself to eat half hers. Even the pickled radish, my daughter's favorite, and carrots were off! They were watery with zero vinegar flavor. My daughter spit them out! Every single bowl of broth tasted sour and awful. The noodles also tasted old and stale. The only salvageable part was the meat, so we just ate the protein because we were starving. Though, the meat was flavorful, the texture was tough and a little chewy. When my mom paid for the check, my husband politely mentioned to our server that the broth tasted sour, just as a heads up in case other customers complained. The server spoke with the kitchen and kindly refunded a portion of the phos back to my mom's cc, which was appreciated. If you looked at our table when we left, it looked as though we barely touched our meal. In our haste, we should have just returned the porkchop, too. After posting about our disappointment on IG, four other people chimed in agreeing that it was the worst pho they've had, too (all four are Asian decent, two being Viet themselves). We definitely won't be back.
