Wanted to try a new place in Morgan Hills, usually go to the same place and this one had good reviews. It's in an odd spot, not sure what it was before but it's long and thin, and the parking is all facing the place, like an old A&W Rootbeer. I ordered my usual, spring rolls and pho tai. Service was quick and efficient. Rolls were good, fresh and delicious. You get 3 rolls or 6 half rolls which is unusual as you normally get 2 rolls. The peanut sauce was very good. Most places make a good roll it's the sauce that sets them apart for me Pho was very good. A nice hot bowl of pho will lift your spirits on a cold night. Was full of meat and very flavorful. First of all I would like to say the new management is fast and efficient for ordering to go. The last management was terrible when it came to ordering to go and picking up food! We ordered this past weekend for the 1st time with the new management and I have to say the food is now terrible. We ordered a combination pho and a bun bo hue (spicy beef pho), and spring rolls. None of the pho soups had taste. The combination pho gave my friend a tummy ache and had to use the restroom multiple times. The bun bo hue pho soup was tasteless. I even added salt and that didn't even help. I can tell both soups are watered down. I also react to msg if there is any present in the soup and there is definitely msg in the pho soup. The spring rolls were hard and extra chewy. It seems that the spring rolls were sitting out for awhile. Dipping sauce was good! read more

Honestly, I'm not sure about all the 5 star reviews... It appears to me that these reviews are from folks who haven't had authentic Vietnamese food before, because Saigon corner is mediocre at best (at least as of now). I've had my fair share of Vietnamese cuisine, granted, I'm Vietnamese and I'm being very honest. The pho here wasn't bad- a little salt, but doable for Morgan Hill ($11~). The beef slices made it not ok because it wasn't fresh. It was actually frost bitten and not thawed all the way before serving the pho. It really made me lose my appetite just looking at it. The rice plate is ridiculously priced ($17) and all of the items on the plate were made with very low quality ingredients. The consistency of the shrimp cake etc., were all mushy! None were firm like they're supposed to be. If you're going to price it that high, I'd recommend using higher quality ingredients and serving on a bigger plate as well. The serving was on a fairly small rectangular plate, which made it impossible to enjoy. The rice was falling off the sides of the plate even for a very neat person. The eggrolls were OK. Owners were friendly. Service was nice, but VERY slow. Restaurant was fairly clean. Price is pretty steep. Quality isn't there yet. I hope they take feedback into consideration, as I can see a lot of potential here. I won't be returning any time soon and will wait until they work out their kinks! read more

My husband and I ordered 2 large bowls of brisket with meatball pho. Upon initial reaction, his bowl had an ok amount of soup, but my bowl as pictured is lacking broth because not all my noodles were submerged. I had to ask for a bit more soup. The broth was flavorful and probably the best bowl of pho I've had in Morgan Hill, but one of my peeves about pho is when there isn't enough broth. The eggrolls were a hit as well. I actually ended up here by chance. I was stuck in horrible traffic and ended up feeling peckish. After I sat down and looked at the menu, I honestly sort of wanted to get back into my car. I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted because the menu was very different from Vietnamese restaurants I'm used to. In my opinion, it included random dishes not typically served. Anyway, I decided to go with a rice plate and was a little sad it didn't come with any egg meatloaf (my fav). This was my first visit to this restaurant. I have passed by it for years and never stopped. However, my sister recommended I stop by to try it out.... and I am so glad I took her advice. If it was from the shrimp in the spring roll I don't see why they were not cleaned as all the shrimp where cut in half... and if it was not from the shrimp I think this place should be inspected thoroughly. Went here for lunch a week ago. There was hardly any meat in my pho. Lots of noodles and add ins but I'd say less than 5 slices of beef! The flavor was decent but not cravable. I also ordered a bon mi to go and the sandwich was equally disappointing in that there was only a few slices of meat in it as well. The bread was delicious tho. I decided to stop here on my way back from Monterey. I ordered the vermicelli with grilled prawn & pork bowl, my boyfriend ordered the beef pho and both were so tasty! The prawns were huge and the pork was cooked just the way how I liked it, grilled with a slight bit of charred edges for extra flavor. Pho Saigon has been a takeout staple for my family over the last three years. The garlic noodle was something we loved so much, we'd grab an order of it once a week. Their pho was flavorful and the rice noodles were always cooked perfectly. We were nervous when we saw that they were closing temporarily to transition to new management. And those nerves were justified, sadly. The garlic noodle under this new management is dry, flavorless, and randomly topped with parmesan cheese. The prawns had no char, lacked flavor, and were undercooked. It was an entirely different dish and not in a good way. The pho broth was also lacking in flavor and the noodles were undercooked and seemingly cut into smaller pieces which takes the joy out of slurping up a bowl of pho. While faster, more efficient service is nice, there's no reason for me to get takeout from here now that the food tastes like its made with no love. We're sad to have lost our favorite takeout spot in town. Old management if you're reading this, please let me know where I can get your garlic noodle. read more

The Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup) was delicious! I've had a lot of pho in the Bay Area and happened to be driving through and decided to try the food. My girlfriend really liked the spicy and sour seafood noodle soup as well! I'm significantly more picky about pho Ga than other pho and this pho ga is delicious!
