A very nice family run restaurant with an extensive menu and ample parking. Nice decor, very clean, and they have a full bar with a nice selection of wine. They also have a nice wine selection. Everything served was fresh and delicious.

This was an average Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was about average, specifically the the broth. I wish it was more savior and salty like other places, but it wasn't bad. Since this is one of few places in the area to get pho it will make do if you are craving it. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean, the lighting was a little dim. There was a blue over heard light which made it a little difficult to see. Overall I would rate this about 3.7 stars

I had a great time here! It feels inviting, very quick service, and good customer service. I had great food! The pho was delicious and the spring rolls hit the appetizer spot! Look at my photos, it was well worth the visit!

This is the only pho spot in Midlothian/Chesterfield area to my knowledge. Anytime I am in the mood for some pho and don't feel like driving to the west end this is my spot. They give you a lot of food and you will certainly have leftover. The owner is the absolute sweetest lady ever. My only complaint is that their prices are a lot higher than places on the West End.

We did takeout from here and I can't say enough on how delicious it is! While I've never been to Vietnam, I feel like this food is the real deal! The fried rice is plentiful and unlike other types of fried rice, stays good for leftovers the next day. It doesn't dry out at all. The pho is amazing! It's not the most appealing take out preparation with the raw meat included, but it's so good! I do recommend that you heat the broth up before you mix it to make sure it's nice and hot to cook the meat. I am obsessed with this food, and recommend it to anyone with a heart for Vietnamese food!

This place 2 high fives I was starving and I have nothing but positive feedback - peaceful setting, 2 lovely women as sweet as can be waited on us. The food outstanding fresh, dishes came out warm, food temperature just right. I live 2 hrs away and will be back it's so worth it.

3.5 stars TL;DR: Service was great, food was just okay. I'm pretty picky about my pho, but we decided to give this place a try. We came in at an off time, but there were still several tables full. The service was very friendly and attentive. Food: Pho with round eye and brisket: The flavor of the broth was pretty good, and the texture of the noodles were perfect. I'm not a huge fan of cilantro already in my pho, but I'll just ask for it without next time. Summer rolls: were much smaller than I expected, but just okay Fried spring rolls: Probably our favorite thing. It was loaded with meat, which you don't see often. Sriracha wings: They were very bland, and I couldn't really taste any spice to it. Broken rice with Chicken and Pork: The pork was so good, but the chicken was a very strange texture. Rubbery but also didn't taste like chicken. Might just get the pork chop next time. Not the best Vietnamese restaurant I've been to, but good enough to satisfy a craving. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Probably one of our new favorite places to eat in the area. We have been here a few times and the food is always great. Every time we have come we have gotten a seat right away. There are two rooms but it seems like most people are seated in the first room where the bar is. The bar is in the center of the building. I have seen people sitting there but it seems like they are waiting for their food to come not just hanging out. I have had a dish from almost sections. Really enjoy the steamed dumplings. The vermicelli bowls is a great dinner choice. The meat is cut real thin but the whole dish will fill you up. The food comes out so quick it is great. The one issue I have had is that the beer never seems to be cold enough for me. I really enjoy my beer ice cold.

I ordered the hot bowl pho, and it was perfection. The broth was deep, flavorful, and not greasy at all -- balanced just right. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender enough to melt in your mouth. You can tell everything is fresh, down to the crisp bean sprouts and fragrant basil. First time hating short ribs in my pho and it was amazing! Can't wait to go back and try the oxtail. The service? Top-notch. Everyone was friendly and quick without making you feel rushed. And the portions? Huge. You definitely get your money's worth. Whether you're craving comfort food or introducing someone to pho for the first time, The Bowl is the move. Easily my new go-to spot -- 10/10 recommend.

When I asked to have it done correctly they brought out a phin, over a glass, with sweetened condensed milk in bottom of brewing glass, but mostly already brewed and coffee in the glass that was lukewarm. Perhaps they do not know how to make it. Flavorless. 2. Ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls. Order came out in about 3 minutes - evidently not fresh, and they were also greasy -- see pic. 3. Ordered pho broth with noodles. Not much broth and all the noodles were actually clumped together (had to pull them apart) - see pic. Broth had a one-note, overly cinnamon flavor. As seen from pic, no space left for broth because so many noodles. Cheap way of serving food. 4. Ordered pork and sausage fried rice. Came out very quickly (evidently pre-made). Was very greasy and had an "off" flavor. Came at a non-busy time, and had food that was not prepared well. Will not return to this restaurant. I prefer Pho Tay Do, as do many Richmond-area chefs.

My friend is obsessed with this place and encouraged me to try. I am very simple when it comes to Chinese food. All I care about is the egg roll, fried rice, lomein and sometimes I will try other things like orange chicken and others but as long as those 3 things are good, I am sold. I have ordered pick up from this place twice. The last time I was there, I went with 7 other people to dine in. We were the only people in there, most people do pick ups. Everyone loved their food. I got a fried rice without veggies and spicy. It was really good. I wasn't a fan of their fried chicken. Their egg roll is probably the best egg roll in the world to me. I tried Chinese donut for the first time here, it was really good as well. I tried others food and all the food were pretty tasty. The owner was nice, he came up to talk to us and to make sure everything was okay. I do feel like they give you less food when you eat there than pick up, especially with the fried rice. I will try other things on the menu next time. Overall, this is a great place to get Chinese food, I recommend.

Wonton soup, overcooked wontons, no green onions, no pork slivers, egg roll coated in grease, shrimp in lobster sauce was like another soup although it did have plenty of shrimp. This was a take out order so I can't comment on the ambience.
