We ordered beef combination pho and seafood hu tieu to-go around 4pm on a Monday. It was not busy at all. Food was ready in 10 mins or so. I paid when I picked up the order. To-go noodle soups are only in large size. They give a lot of fresh toppings. They give a ton of fresh flat rice noodle for the hu tieu. It needs more seafood though. The pho had good amount of meats. The broths are flavorful, but salty so we added some water. Both are good. I'll need to try the bun Bo hue next. They've only opened for about a year and this place rocks! Their pho is solid. What I appreciate most is the pipping hot soup that STAYED HOT throughout my meal. The soup is flavorful... and yes, if you're a seasoned pho eater, the first thing you do when the bowl comes is to take a soup spoon and try the soup first. Yum!!! The quality of their meat is also above par -- meat is fresh and tender and you can tell that they didn't skim with low-quality meat like many pho places do. My bowl of Bun Bo Hue was excellent! Spicy and flavorful.. and again, with better quality meat. Very happy and satisfied and we slurped the whole bowl down!! Service is friendly, fast and efficient. On my first visit here, I ordered the pork rice plate and the fried Vietnamese egg rolls (A2 on the menu). These were both very satisfying and delicious. The only thing I wished were different was that they provided bigger slices of lettuce to wrap the egg rolls, but we still loved them. The restaurant is clean and they offer the option to sit outside or inside, which is perfect because cold weather and pho go hand-in-hand in my book. On this visit, I ordered the #25, which was the mì egg noodle soup that had squid, pork, shrimp, and fish balls in it. This was probably my favorite dish so far. The mix of everything was perfect and the fish balls were my favorite kind (the ones with the fish eggs inside of it). Their rice plates are also pretty good and perfectly sized. From experience, some places don't offer that much meat but this place is generous. For all visits, I was always greeted and sat right away. For the people leaving reviews saying that they were never checked on, I've never been to a Pho restaurant where they do that... so, get used to it. Our experience was pretty solid for a Sunday mid-day visit to satiate our pho cravings. I ordered a #2 (only large), love me my combo pho! My wife ordered a #3, small. We ordered a Spring Roll. We also ordered the A1--House Special Fried Shrimp Cake. Everything came out fairly quickly from when we placed our order and everything was fairly delicious. My order, the #2 Pho was solid, clean flavored broth, and overall, very good and what you would expect. My wife's #3 Pho was also solid and clean flavored. I do think that the cuts of meats could have been better. Some of the cuts of beef were stringy and a bit clumped together, so it was sometimes rather difficult to chew the meats apart. But overall, the flavors were solid. The Spring Roll, pretty good. Pre-made, so it came out super fast. The peanut sauce was pretty solid. The Fried Shrimp Cake was something unique that I haven't seen before. We decided to order it. It didn't come out immediately and you could tell it was fried right before it came out. It was ok, not too bad but not something I would say I have to get the next time I visit Pho Tay Do. Overall, the Pho--which is what you're visiting for, is solid--minus the clumps of stringy meat. Had dinner here last week. We ordered all the usuals -- Pho Dac Biet ($13.95 each), Spring Rolls ($6.95), and one of their House Special Fried Shrimp Cake ($9.50). The broth of the pho was very savory, and not too sweet like most places have it. The noodles were cooked well and did not come out too soggy. Also, the meat to noodles ratio was very generous as the Pho Special came paired with Special Rare Steak, Well Done Flank, Brisket, Tendon, Tripe and Beef Balls. We could tell the Spring Rolls were made-to-order and the peanut sauce was definitely made in-house. The House Special Fried Shrimp Cake was really good -- lots of flavor. As a way to wrap up the meal, we ordered a Vietnamese Dessert (Che for $5.25 each) which was sweet green beans, grass jelly, and pandan jelly topped with condensed milk and crushed ice.
