Entrance is on San Pablo Ave. Parking on the side of the building after you pass the restaurant, if there is no street parking. I got the #1 special combo pho. Ingredients are fresh and no discoloration on meats. Sauce dispensers were very clean and the sauce inside was thick and not watery. Soup came out hot, just like it should be. Meat was not as plentiful as some other places I have been to but its a filling meal and I am satisfied. Closer to home than going into Albany or Oakland. Price is reasonable. He will come over and asks how we've been, who our friends are(since it's usually just the two of us) and he will cook my bean sprouts without me asking. It was our first time here and that will be our last. Poor customer service, and the lady who took our oder well don't know if she's the owner coz she's not wearing uniform. She needs to learn more how to take care of her customers. Since I am not familiar with their menu, I asked if they had a Phò without anything in it just noodles and soup. So I tend to visit this pho spot when I can't get to Oakland. It has fast service with decent food. Depending on who is working, the customer service is either friendly or just blunt. I'm ok with that, I mean I'm not there to chit chat, I'm there to eat! I tend to get the #17 rare steak noodle soup or their pork chop rice plate, both delicious! Since I have recently been incapacitated, broke my ankle at my friends wedding (don't ask), I've been craving some pho. We came here for dinner and the entire family got sick after eating. The place is dirty and the tables aren't cleaned well because you can still smell the fish sauce on there. The vegetable was undercooked, the bbq meat was dried and the marination was quite disappointing. Price is not cheap given the neighborhood it is in. It was the first time we visited there and it is also the last. There is another Vietnamese restaurant located a few blocks away and they have wonderful flavor and good pricing too. I guess my review is a bit biased as I grew up near Little Saigon in OC and now reside in Mira Mesa in San Diego, where there are a lot of good pho options, but I wasn't too impressed with the place. To start off, the parking lot was a bit awkward. They have slanted parking spots (which I love, making it easier to park), but the road is narrow, so when you want to leave the lot, you have to do a 5 point turn, or back out of the entire parking lot, if you're that ballsy. The pho was decent. Kinda dingy and dirty, but what else do you expect from a pho place? They do seem to have a lot of variety, though, so that's definitely a plus... as far as I saw, they had the vermicelli bowls, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu, Hu Tieu, and some rice plates along with the usual pho. read more

The portions are big and the food is good and the price is just right. The only bad part is, that people always find hair in their food. The service is good though. So i like it. This is my second visit. I was astonished and left after I realized I was there first before a couple with 2 children walked in about 15 minutes after I got there.the waiter approached them first and immediately gave them their meal. I wasn't even given water, a menu, nothing. So, I'm beginning to walk out, the owner evidently sees me, runs after me, and I tell him what happened. He gives me a lame excuse, saying they were regular customers who always order the same thing. I said to him, "I was there first.... that couple should not have been served before me. My biggest beef with this place was the lack of service. My buddy basically had to run a waiter down before we could get served. It would have been one thing had the place been busy but it was pretty dead. There was 2 other parties in the whole restaurant. I ordered the pho with rare beef and beef ball. The portions were smaller than what I'm used to but it was decent enough. I've never had beef ball before and it honestly tasted a lot like a hot dog. Three of us ordered various pho's and it seemed that the accoutrements that we were brought were the same as if only one person had ordered pho. This place has the worst customer experience! My husband and I ordered are food and the server forgot my order. It was past 30 minutes and we asked about my order the server said "that I didn't want my food". My husband and I said that makes no sense and isn't right but if we could at least have a discount or something since she messed up our order. Instead of acknowledging that she made a mistake and didn't want to own up to it or at least make it right she stated "no I cannot do that you pay full price". On of the best places in my area for a good bowl of pho. We also had the hot beef soup with noodles, tendon, beef and blood sausage, and my son the chicken pho. Pho Thai Hung is open later than nearby Hung Trà (which I will give 4 stars for slightly tastier food and as a near perfect hole in the wall). A couple of months ago I was there with my mom, we saw a roach crawling around and even got on top of a table where a guy was eating. We told the owners and they acted like nothing happened we kinda let it go, i went back like 2 months ago and i got a roach in my smoothie and i told them again and the guy said "do you want this one or a new one" uhmm i would prefer nothing! This is my first review, and I went to this restaurant soley based on yelp reviews. I have to go along with the others and say that it was great. I had only ever had vermicelli soup, with chicken or shrimp, or veggies, and was always too scared to try Beef Pho. Today I did it! I asked the waitress what she recommended and I got Pho with rare beef and meatballs. She showed me the fixin's and how to mix the two sauces on the side to dip my meat in. It was a Sunday and my favorite place for Pho down the street was closed. Having a serious craving for some Pho that would not go away, I decided to give this place a shot. I walked in to the place and was a little unsure based on the look of it. I ordered to go and was pleasantly surprised with my Pho Ga. The broth tasted great and the portion was huge.
