This place was soooo busy yesterday! I wanted to dine in but I didn't want to be around so many people so I just opted for take out. I'm usually never craving pho but I definitely was yesterday. They are reasonably priced and the food is just okay. It's nothing too spectacular but if you are craving it'll do the job. I've had this place a few times with my family before and the service is always good. The staff is nice and they try their best to accommodate your needs. Personally I feel like covid protocols need to be a little better but the food is good. read more

This place was AMAZING! If you're looking for a good bowl of pho, come here! My boyfriend and I love spring rolls and the pork charbroiled ones were chefs kiss. He finished his entire bowl of pho, even the broth. This is a very clean small restaurant and our waitress was so friendly! Don't come if you're in a hurry. I just ordered a sandwich which was overpriced and typical price for Vietnamese sandwich else where is around $4.50. Service was excruciating slow! For a sandwich and soup took forever when other people who were there after me got their food quicker.Service was sadly lacking. You don't just throw the food on the table and walk away. We are beyond upset at this place! They ripped us off! My mom wanted to order Pho Dac Biet- the pho bowl with everything in it. But instead, they charged us for every item, including tendons and meatballs! They didn't even tell us that they will charge extra for those items! That is so shady!!! That is basically $24 for a bowl of pho! We will never ever go to a place like that again. Their pho broth is so salty and not much taste to it, probably from powder seasoning. read more

I went there yesterday for a quick dinner. This is a small little restaurant, but don't let that fool you. What it lacks in appearance and size has nothing to do with the quality of the food. I have the barbecued grilled beef Bahn Mi sandwich with egg rolls. My husband had the pork chop and meatloaf entrée. We both shared eggrolls. The entrée comes with soup, rice and vegetables. Both were delicious. I love the crusty French bread rolls that they use for the bánh mì sandwich. The eggrolls were crispy, hot and very tasty! My husband, loved the pork chop, which was very flavorful. The meatloaf was prepared quite differently than American meatloaf, but it was still very good. I highly recommend checking this little place out because they have to go orders and booths and tables were you can sit down and eat. I've eaten here many times, and the food is top-notch. I've gone to other Vietnamese places before, and I always end up going back to this place because they just have excellent food and service. The food is very authentic. It's also pleasing to the eye, and the server is very polite and solicitous. By the way, the miso soup that comes with the entrée is one of the best that I've ever had. Absolutely amazing Vietnamese food. Been here twice now with my family. We all agree this is Vietnamese done right. Having ate at most of the Pho restaurants in the Ontario/chino/Rancho/Norco area, this one takes the cake, it's clean, bright and inviting. Great service. Food served fast. My wife and I stumbled across this place by accident when we were shopping in the center it is located in. Skeptical at first, we were blown away with their Pho and rice dishes. Today we went back for a second time and it did not disappoint. At the time of this review their overall score is 3 stars and that is surprising considering how great the food and service is. So I got sick for the first time in what seems like years (how are moms rarely sick?? Oh right -- because we have to take care of everyone else! *insert muscle flexing emoji here*) and the first thing my husband buys for me is Pho! This was right next to the errand he had to run and I'm so glad because the location is convenient, they have the option to make the soup EXTRA hot so by the time my husband gets it to go for his sick wifey, it's still scorching hot and delicious! No reheating necessary! I got the #10 with everything and I ate it up so fast! Even burned my tongue a little and it was totally worth it. I drank the soup when I was done because it was that good. My recent visit to Pho Viet was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. I came in expecting an authentic, comforting bowl of pho, but what I received was far from appetizing. Upon being served, I was shocked to find a strand of hair in my food. Finding something like that in a meal instantly ruins the experience and raises serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards. Even more concerning, I could see the chefs preparing food with their bare hands. There were no gloves being used, and it didn't appear that they were washing their hands between tasks. Cleanliness should always be a top priority in any kitchen, and it was clear that Pho Viet was not meeting that basic expectation. The drinks were equally disappointing. I ordered one of their summer specials, and the milk based drink tasted off, almost as if the milk had spoiled or was of poor quality. For a restaurant that advertises fresh and flavorful beverages, this was a major letdown. Overall, this visit made me lose confidence in both the food quality and safety of Pho Viet. What should have been a simple and enjoyable meal turned into an unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on any diner. Unless major improvements are made to both hygiene practices and ingredient quality, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to others. read more

This is a new spot that my friends told me about. I always like to try new places and usually I enjoy it. But this place was just plain horrible. First of all, the service was VERY bad. I am usually patient when waiting for my food, but this time it was unacceptable. I was waiting for so long, and I did not get one word from the employees letting me know what is going on or apologizing for making me wait so long. Eventually I just asked about my order and then waited for about 15 minutes more before my order finally came out. By this time I was starving and I just wanted to eat, So I taste the broth and it was bland and pretty much tasteless. My brother tasted it and agreed with me also. The quality of the food was not satisfying at all. As hungry as I was I didn't even finish it because it was so bad. Neither did my brother and he eats anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's a waste of money and time. I'm going to stick with Pho Amor in Norco. I suggest that you guys skip this place and go straight to Pho Amor where everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere is just way better. read more

I just found my new go-to pho spot! Their food is SO good! The pho came out piping hot, and they definitely didn't skimp on the meat. These days, it's hard to find an $18 bowl of pho that's actually worth the price, but this place totally is. Their chili oil was amazing too super flavorful with lots of spices. I had a great experience at Pho Viet. I ordered the pho filet mignon, and it was absolutely excellent. The broth was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and the filet mignon was tender and high quality--definitely a step above your typical pho. Great experience in this Vietnamese restaurant. Finally I found the best Vietnamese food in this area. The dishes were served hot and tasty. The grill pork with vermicelli and their soup noodel were amazing. The summer drinks they offered were great especially salt coffee and lychee tea. I absolutely loved dining at this restaurant! The best part was that it was open until 10 PM, which was perfect since I was searching for Pho places nearby. The vegetable noodle soup was amazing, with good vegetables, and came with a delicious chicken broth. We also tried different types of spring rolls, and they were quite filling. So I decided to give this place another chance after a couple of months since it's so close to my house. I ordered over the phone, the guy didn't even ask for my name so I got nervous not sure if my order will actually be ready when I pick it up. Ordered chicken, brisket and vegetarian pho as well as some spring rolls. Needless to say everything was still bland and required a lot of seasoning. My son and I have been coming to Pho Viet for the last 4 years and absolutely love it! We moved from Orange County and had a hard time finding a good Pho spot until we came here. Everyone is always so friendly, the pho has such great flavor and it's made to order. My son is on the spectrum and has to have his in a special way, they always accommodate him with no problem. The nastiest thing thing happened to me here that I just had to make a yelp account so I can let everyone know. So basically I saw a waiter sneeze in his hand and dig for a little bit of gold. So I payed attention to him only to realize he was bringing out our food. His thumb touched my soup and I don't think he even washed his hands. The shrimp in my bowl arrived on a thin stick skewer. To have a shrimp you must pick up the stick by the tips and pull one off. The honest answer lay in ordering the most likely choices we get: #6 beef belly pho #44 vermicelli with grilled pork, shrimp, eggroll The pho arrived almost instantaneously. A giant bowl, and apparently the only size they offer for #6. Mindblowing. It came loaded with a cluster of thinly cut, well marbled slices of beef that still showed some signs of pinkness, one of the keys to this beautiful dish. The broth, richly flavored, was a winner. The traditional condiments, delivered separately on a small plate: fresh basil leaves, bean sprouts, slices of jalapeño pepper slices. One taste and I was hooked. And it wasn't even my order, so I had to back off. Sitting on the table, bottles of soy sauce, siracha (the good kind), and hoisin to enhance an already perfectly wonderful soup broth. One of the better ones I've had. My (usually my favorite) dish, #44, was the rice vermicelli noodle salad, with bbq pork, shrimp, and 1 eggroll. The dish includes a nice portion bbq pork, chopped romaine lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumber, fresh basil, pickled carrot and radish, and chopped peanuts. Unfortunately, it failed me. The bbq pork in this entree did not meet my expectations. Too thinly sliced, lean, and overcooked, the meat was missing the taste of the fire-grilled, caramelized glaze I adore. The 3 shrimp were smallish and close to being overcooked. Nor did the eggroll impress. It was heavy of wrapper, very little filling, tough. I would not return for any of these items. The dipping sauce was also too sweet, so I had to tone it down with more fish sauce and lime juice. I was fascinated at the number of customers they had, especially of Vietnamese decent. A good sign. I spied at the table next to ours, two young men who did some special amendments to their basic pho order. First, they made themselves a dip, half siracha, half hoisin in a small cup. That, they explained, was to dip the meat in. Secondly, they each had two side dishes, a small plate of pickled white onions to which they added siracha. Imagine, sweet, tangy, spicy, and pungent in one bite. And a small condiment cup of clear, melted, yellow beef tallow (the product coming from the beef bones having been boiled for the broth) served with 2" long, white tips of green onions. These they ate with their soup as condiments. New to me, I find myself eager to experience these additions. To their credit, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, the ambiance mellow with gentle jazz playing in the background, steller service, and the prices very reasonable. Very pleasant. Bottom line, I would return for the pho and great dining experience.
