    lychee jasmine/lotus tea
    Celyne D.

Finally made my way to Phuc Long Coffee & Tea! There are so many drink spots in San Jose, but this one was a must-try for me. Parking was decent, my husband and I tried to find something closer to the café but ended up parking near Grand Century Mall and walking over, which honestly wasn't too bad. The ambiance here is so nice. The decor is clean and aesthetic, and even though it looks a bit small from the outside, it's actually a pretty decent size inside. I also loved the little tables and chairs outside, it's such a cute spot to just sit and enjoy your drink. We ordered the lychee jasmine/lotus tea, the blended matcha, banh trang tron, and the banh mi que. The lychee jasmine tea was SO good and refreshing, not overly sweet and you can really taste the jasmine tea which I loved. I would definitely come back just for this drink alone. The blended matcha wasn't my favorite since it leaned more on the sweeter side and didn't have a strong matcha flavor. On the food side, the banh trang tron and banh mi que were both so good. The banh trang really hit the spot and the banh mi was super crunchy and flavorful, just simple classics done right. One thing I will say is that even though it wasn't very busy when we went, the wait ended up being longer than expected. It might have been because of the food items rather than the drinks, but since we didn't order too much, it did feel like a bit of an unusual wait time as it wasn't busy. Overall, I'm really glad I finally tried this spot and I'd definitely come back again, especially for that lychee jasmine tea!

Ordered a large and basically got a regular because the drinks were 75% filled and majority of the cup is ice. They are not busy at all and we had to wait to have someone help with handing the online order out. It seems like it's consistent that they do not fill their cups because we came here multiple times and all our drinks are 75% full with mostly ice.

These drinks are not for the weak of heart. I love a good Vietnamese coffee and these pack SUCH a strong punch. They have black, milk, and cloudy (sea salt cream) options for their coffee, and each one has the delicious bitterness of coffee in each sip without being overpowering. The milk and cloudy ones are perfectly balanced with cream and sweetness -- I would choose cloudy if you want a less aggressive coffee taste. They also have a variety of tea and matcha options, plus food and snacks. Seating is plentiful and comfortable -- a great spot to hang out and chill! ... or maybe not chill because you'll be so hyped up after one of their drinks.

I love going to Phuc Long because it reminds me of wonderful memories of being in Vietnam. When I'm in Vietnam, I'm always at a Phuc Long. When I'm back home, I try to go often!

Located in the Vietnam Mall plaza, this spot has plenty of parking, though it can get very busy, so finding a spot may take a bit of patience. We stumbled upon this cafe and there was a short wait. The staff was very friendly. The space is decently sized, so it's a good place to hang out. I ordered the Lychee Jasmine Tea, which wasn't too sweet and was a refreshing treat after our meal. Overall, a pleasant spot with good drinks and a welcoming atmosphere.

Came here on 09/12/25 for their BOGO Cheezy Coco Matcha promo. I was very impressed and surprised by the flavor of the drink. It is coconut water and matcha, topped with a creamy cheese foam. It was sooo delicious, the flavor was creamy, milky, and refreshing. I would usually go for matcha milk tea if i want that flavor, but this checks all the box for me without it being full dairy from top to bottom. The service was great, the employee me greet me immediately upon entering. The ambiance was friendly, lots of people were sitting inside, hanging with friends or just chill by themselves. I recommend this location. I do want to add, they have a metal bench to wait for your order at the front. It was very creaky and doesn't seem like it can hold a lot of weight. I would advise Phuc Long to take a look at alternatives options for waiting sofa as that can cause serious injuries. Otherwise, great spot!

Overall, their tea is delicious and refreshing, especially on hot summer days. I would recommend this to others and I would come back. Drink: (4/5) Peach Black Tea ($7.94 with tax) The drink was delicious, though a bit too sweet for my taste. I'd recommend adjusting the sweetness. The tea base was balanced, it was noticeable without being overpowering or strong. If you do not like the taste of tea, you might not like this. The peach flavor was well balanced with the tea, it was not too subtle. The peach pieces at the bottom added a pleasant finishing touch that you could snack on. Service & Ambiance: (5/5) The staff was friendly and they made my drink very quick. It was already ready by the time I went to pay. The interior of the store is cute, however, the music was a bit loud so definitely not a place to study at. My favorite thing about this place is that they have tiny tables and chairs outside for you to sit at, so it reminded me of Vietnam.

To my surprise this is a very unique tea house. It's been here since 1987. Interior design of the place it's very calm relaxing, huge area to be siting down with open table. The milk tea is really good, it's a very rich tea fragrance and the milk tea is really smooth with a strong umami taste at end. Which is my liking. Service is great, no wait time on taking order and my drink was ready in 2 mins. Definitely recommend it!

I've been wanting to try their coffee for a long while now and I finally got the chance to try it last Sunday. I ordered their Vietnamese milk coffee which is basically their brewed coffee with sugar & milk. I thought the coffee tasted good but nothing out of the ordinary. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess which I'm also happy about. I'd definitely come back again for another cup of coffee!

2 Phuc Long milk tea (half sugar, add brown boba)

Both of my kids wanted boba and the first shop that I took them to, said they were out of boba so we ended up coming here to buy our drinks. Both of my kids ordered the Phuc Long milk tea (half sugar, add brown boba). We were the only customers at that time so our drinks only took a few minutes to be ready. As for flavor, the milk tea tasted weird. It had a caramel flavor with no hint of "milk tea" essence. However, the boba was good. It had the perfect chewiness and sweetness.

Trying a coconut-blended coffee at Phuc Long in San Jose. I needed a little pick-me-up during the day time so I picked up a nice tasty and delicious blended coffee. Sat down on one of the small tables and chairs and just enjoyed a nice drink. Plenty of people are here and ordering different drinks and also food as well. The place inside is clean and nice to sit and relax a little.

Tried this location for the first time and ended up with the Longan Lotus Tea not bad at all! Surprisingly not busy for a Friday night, and the aesthetics inside are pretty cool for photos.

First off, the interior of this cafe is so beautiful! It's so vibrant and lively inside. Phuc Long is a Vietnamese cafe that emphasizes their strong and aromatic teas. Lotus tea is well known in Vietnam and I'm so glad to have tried it here. We ordered the Phuc Long Milk Tea, Lychee Lotus Tea and Cloudy Lotus Tea with 50% sweet. All of these were perfectly sweet and bitter. I wouldn't recommend getting over 50% sweet as their drinks are on the sweeter side. The Phuc Long Milk Tea was my favorite out of the three. It was creamy and striked the right balance of not being overly milky. Great to see more speciality cafes open up in this plaza!

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. I would've gate kept this place but everyone already knows about it so I HAVE to show them the love they deserve!!

I visited this coffee shop after seeing its 4-star rating and was excited to try a new place,…read moreespecially because I was looking for somewhere with spacious seating. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, particularly when it came to customer service. When my party of three approached the counter, the woman in the black top with short hair, who appeared to be the owner or manager, finished taking the order of the customer ahead of us but did not acknowledge or greet us. I stood there waiting while my party and I looked toward her, but there was no acknowledgment or indication that someone would be with us shortly. Eventually, my mother had to ask another employee, who was working on the other side of the counter, for assistance with the pastries. That employee was the one who eventually assisted us and took our order. I asked whether we could choose a seat and have our order brought to us, and she nodded yes. I also left a tip when paying for our order. When our drinks and pastries were ready, the curt short hair black top woman called out loudly on our order at the pickup area. I found this a little odd given that I had specifically asked whether the order would be brought to our table, but I went ahead and picked everything up myself and brought it to our table. About 30 minutes later, I noticed that the same employee personally carried a drink and pastry to another customer who had arrived after us and was seated behind us. At that point, I was confused about why service seemed inconsistent. We had been told to pick up our own order, and we also had to clear/manage our own table, yet another customer who arrived later was being served at his table. I initially decided not to make an issue of it because I had seen other customers picking up their own orders as well. What bothered me most, however, was what happened with my elderly mother when she needed to use the restroom. She knocked twice but received no response, so she asked a staff member for the restroom key. She was told that someone might be inside. After waiting a couple of minutes, it turned out that the person inside was actually a staff member. My mother asked why the employee hadn't simply responded when she knocked, especially since she was waiting to get access to the restroom. The employee in the black top ignored her and walked away without responding. As a customer, I found the overall interaction to be extremely unfriendly and lacking in basic hospitality. I also couldn't help but notice that my party was the only Chinese/Vietnamese group in the coffee shop at the time. I cannot say what anyone's intentions were, but the inconsistent treatment left me uncomfortable and made me question whether we were being treated differently. A business in the hospitality industry should make all customers feel welcome, regardless of their background or ethnicity. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived until we left, the customer service was close to nonexistent and there was very little friendliness or acknowledgment toward us. The space itself is spacious and looks nice at first glance, but the interior is not particularly well maintained if you look closely. I'm honestly unclear how this place has a 4-star rating based on my experience. The poor customer service and lack of basic courtesy left a bad taste in my mouth. I came here intending to support a new local business, but based on this experience, I would not recommend this coffee shop and do not plan to return. If you're going to operate a business in hospitality, customer service should be one of the fundamentals. A little acknowledgment, courtesy, and consistency would have made a significant difference.
