Piara pizza is decent if you're looking to get a quick cheap fix. I had the chance to try it tonight and in my opinion it was really chewy. You get what you pay for though. Large topping pepperoni pizza was about 5.50. I enjoy my pizzas with good amount of sauce, but Piara pizza was lacking in this part. It's comparable to little ceasars pizza but less greasy! Time delivery was unexpectedly quick. We ordered for the Large Piara Supreme in thin crust. It sure was crunchy and chewy at the same time. I loved that their toppings were all the way to the edge of the crust. The pizza sauce had some kick into it. No need to put on hot sauce, salt, or pepper. The flavor was just right. High quality delicious pizza at Little Ceasars Prices. I was staying at a nearby hotel and was craving pizza but all the local places were closing for the evening, that is until I called here. The store is located in a unassuming strip mall, it's not big and you'd easily miss it while driving by. The inside itself is catchy, colorful, and clean. Since it was my first time here I order both the deep dish and regular pizza. The deep dish comes with 2 pizzas for $8, and the regular pizza is a large for $5.50. I was shocked by how good the pizza is for the price, and for being take out it's much better than the major chain establishments. Overall I really enjoyed the pizza, the price, and the employees are friendly. From the concept, layout, and packaging, it's like Little Ceasars but with their own unique flare. Piara pizza is just like Little Caesar's. It's hot and ready to go. Same price of $5 too. There are starting to be a lot more Piara Pizza locations popping up and I am seeing them as much as Little Caesar's. You can only pick up the pizza and go. They don't have tables inside to sit dowm and eat. They barely have enough room for chairs to sit and wait if the pizza is not ready. The worst thing about this location is the parking. It's located on the corner of Painter and Lambert. It's really hard to find parking turning in here because the whole structure is so compact. There's a Mexican restaurant and a drug store and mechanical right next to it so people are always coming and going. The pizza is actually good especially for the price. They put a good amount of cheese and sauce and it isn't that greasy. The breadsticks are yummy! I always get a side of their marinara sauce to dip the bread and pizza in. Adds great flavor. The pepporni and cheese pizzas are always ready when I go. I'm sure they have a couple other toppings, but you might just have to wait a couple minutes for them to be ready. If you are looking for a cheap and fast dinner this place is definitely that. read more

OK...for $6 pizza, this place is great!! Not to mention the free order of breadsticks you get with a yelp check in! Score. I like this pizza a lot better than Little Caesars bc of the dough and the overall quality of the pizza itself. The dough here is soft and the crust is thick. The cheese is great as well as the sauce. Honestly, I might like Little Caesars' sauce better, BUT overall, Piara takes the pie. I will say that their breadsticks aren't as good as LC's and they don't have a variety of dipping sauce selections either. Dude, I'm really fortunate where I'm at because I have Little Cesars right next to me and Piara Pizza on the way home... I used to really be in the jackpot because Papa John's by the freeway had $5 larges as well.... they've since closed down though (probably sold too many $5 pizzas, sad). This works really well because there's a Ralph's right down the street that has a REDBOX... $6 bucks and change for a DATE NIGHT?!?!?! WHOOO HOOO... this is fine dining at ti's FINEST in Whittier.. The pizza is good, I don't have high expectations for pizza unless it's gourmet and I'm paying 10-15 bucks for it. My husband,myself, my 2 year old,& our 1 year old have had food poisoning since the night we ate it, it is now Tuesday..I think I have managed to puke up every bit of my insides and my poor kids. I used to always go to Little Caesar's for cheap pizza. Even if it was cheap, it was never really that great. It's one of those cravings where you THINK you'll have a decent pizza, but it just winds up disappointing you. Piara's a little different. With Piara, I don't feel like quoting a Bluth from Arrested Development with, "I've made a huge mistake." Their pepperoni pizza is good, their cheese pizza is satisfying. I've never really went off the "beaten" path and ordered a specialty because usually as it goes with cheap pizza, they wind up with egg (cheese?) on their faces and should just stick with the "basics." Their breadsticks and wings taste a little on the side of they were sitting under the hot lamps for too long. Debit cards get charged a processing fee. Nominal, but it's there. Come with cash. I can see the parking lot being a pain in the ass at the "high point," but I usually come near closing, so it's very open when I get there. read more

And to clarify, they DO offer more pizza options than the $5 large pepperoni. I personally like Domino's "new recipe", if I had to select a marginally better crappy pizza, but I can't walk to the nearest Domino's in under ten minutes. But definitely better than Pronto's, Little Ceasar's, and..... Digiorno. So we went here yesterday because we had to make a stop at another store in this little plaza. I had been working all day and running around since I got out of work. This was my last stop before going home for the night and by the time I got to the little plaza, a $5.50 pizza was sounding awesome. I didn't even care what it tasted like, I just was not going to cook yesterday; I was way too tired. What a surprise then that I had once I tasted a piece and it was actually pretty good. This is NOT gourmet, super fancy pizza. But, it's better than Little Caesar's and it was satisfying, so I'm not complaining. Plus they don't go too heavy on the sauce (which Little Caesar's always does) so I didn't have any heartburn issues at all. The lobby is super small and this is obviously a popular place, so it's very crowded in there, but again, not complaining. It was fine. Customers are moved through very quickly so even when it is crowded, it's not crowded for long. The girl who worked on me wasn't the most friendly in the world, but I'm sure she is told to be fast and not to chit chat, so I've got no problems with that. The only thing that kind of grossed me out was that the girl had a ton of cuts on her hands and not all of them were covered with Band-Aids. I sure hope that she wears gloves if she is touching food, because that's just not healthy for customers and it's not good for her either. Be forewarned, the plaza is super tiny and in a kind of sketchy area, but they are quick and the pizzas were fresh and very tasty. If you are in a rush, or if you are like I was last night where I just wanted to get in, get out and get home, this is definitely the place to go. Ok, so my wife bought two large pizzas for the family of this PiaraPizza I've never heard of before. I was kind of reluctant to try it out because the box looks just like one of those overnight flyby cheap places. It was late in the afternoon so I tried it and to my surprise, I liked it, really liked it. My son also said that he was surprise the pizza tasted good. I don't like eating pizza late in the afternoon be cause it gives me heartburn at night, but surprisingly this pizza did not bother my stomach. I think I will continue buying from them. You won't confuse this place for a gourmet pizza restaurant, but for the price, it simply can't be beat (in my opinion, it easily beats Little Caesars). A pepperoni pizza and an order of breadsticks is my usual and at around $8, it's a lot of food for the money. This place is perfect when you have some friends over for an event and you don't want to break the bank feeding everyone. It's still good quality, so you won't get grief from anyone. Their speciality pizzas aren't worth the extra money, but you might think differently. UPDATE: Their $8 deep dish pizza is definitely worth the money! It might be $3 more than their regular pizza and might even be a little smaller, but it tastes WAY better. I only order the deep dish pizzas.
