Wow I'm really surprised to see all of the negative reviews about my favorite store that I've been coming to once a week for the past 15 years now. I guess people don't take the time to review businesses unless they are really unhappy. I know lots of happy customers that frequent this Pick-Up Stix on Harvard in Irvine. Everyone is so nice, and the food is always really good. They make sure that my order is exactly the way I want it, and I'm picky. In fact, as soon as they hear its me on the phone, they already know what I want and cater to my picky needs. The food was great but above all Julieta I believe she's a staff member or supervisor that gave the best service. My friend ordered me the drunken noodles not realizing it was super spicy, and Julieta was so kind and gave me free white rice, so that the burning sensation away. as she was cleaning tables, she saw me eating and struggling with the drunken noodles, she offered to replace it with something else without me even asking that's what I call going above and beyond for your customers, and doing it with a smile, kindness and with genuine heart. Yeeeah... I've come here on a few occasions when I'm really craving Chinese at lunch. I work in the Park Plaza office towers nearby, so this is the easiest solution. They do a decent lunch combo that's fairly filling -- I usually get the orange chicken with fried rice. There's ample indoor seating as well as several tables outside. (On my last occasion here, it was sweltering hot inside.) You can easily order through the Yelp app or in person. I've done the app before, and it's usually ready much quicker than the anticipated time. Wow...not sure what happened here but I've been a regular for the last few years and things have definitely changed. Not sure if it is a new owner, management or supplier but the once awesome taste and flavor of this place is gone. I would frequent this place at least once a week and slowly but surely have tapered off to once a month and now, I just can't bother going back. Today was the last straw: the chicken with vegetables was my favorite and now the chicken is over cooked, tough and tasteless. The same for the brown rice. It is very tough and has zero flavor. The whole meal was very bland and I couldn't even finish it. They even got rid of the chili sauce in the little cups and moved to pre-packaged siracha wannabe sauce in the little packets. Ordered food for my family from this location for a family gathering I had . I ordered the party trays and sadly one of the trays was half empty. Not sure if they ran out of the orange chicken since it was close to closing time ? Either way I wish they would have told me I could have ordered something else if that was the case . Honestly, if I could give NO stars, I would. This location has the WORST customer service. We placed a delivery order here upon learning that the location we usually ordered from had closed. Delivery makes it right on time, except it's not our order. Pick Up Stix handed the driver an order for KRISTIN, which is close to me name, but not my name. I called the restaurant to explain what had happened and they were less than helpful. They told me that I could either come pick up my food OR I could place a NEW order for Door Dash to come pick up and redeliver, but they were NOT going to fix their own mistake. Honestly, all they had to do was accept accountability for their error and find a way to make it right. Instead, they tried to play it off like it was my fault because I ordered directly from Pick up Stix and not through some third party service, etc. Needless to say, TWO hours after my food should have been delivered, we still had no food and 4 hungry kids. They offered to refund my order and give me coupons for free entrees at my next visit. Right, like I'm ever giving Pick Up Stix my business again. Needless to say, I have filed a Fraudulent Charge Report with my bank because I don't trust them worth a lick to refund my money. Boo, just boo. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. I ordered online for curbside pickup (it said to come by 7:25, I arrived at 7:10). I ordered the Mongolian beef and general chicken. Both were disgusting. The Mongolian beef had a very unsettling texture. If I had to best describe how this food tasted, it's like the frozen PF Cheng food that you can buy from the grocery store (also explains the texture). I threw all of the food out. I've eaten from this location in the past and have not had an experience like this before.
