This is the best pizza in Jacksonville, and it's not close. That was my suspicion when I had the pizza here when it was a food truck, but I only had it once or twice. I've been coming to the brick and mortar since it opened probably once a week, and I've never ever had a bad meal. The pepperoni, the Bianca, the tomato (with the works! Pepperoni and hot honey, a semi-secret menu item), the meatballs, the burrata caprese salad...all winners. Top to bottom the menu is incredible. And there are some decent and well-priced beer/cider/wine options as well. I would add - the service is super friendly and very fast. This is basically the polar opposite of V Pizza in that respect, which turns out good (but not as good) pizza but with a wait of an hour or more on the weekend. If I'm getting Pie95 to go, it's never taken less than 15 minutes. So clutch. I cannot say enough good things. Fantastic addition to the neighborhood. read more

Got the Romántica pizza and garlic bread. Garlic bread and marinara was good, wished the garlic butter spread was spread thoroughly on top instead of just in the middle pit of the bread. Romántica pizza was amazing, especially with the drizzle of balsamic on top and the arugula and cheese were fresh and tasty! We had their pizza on the Riverside Market (they had a food truck before they opened brick and mortar) so we knew how good their pizza was. Today we went to their restaurant and tried their special, it was a brisket app, so delicious! Their service is extremely professional and warm/welcoming. We got to talk to their chefs (they have an open kitchen) and they told us about the next special they are working on and we even go to try a sample, absolutely AMAZING! Best pizza in the Neapolitan style in the area. They cannot officially call themselves Neapolitan pizza but this pizza is better than some of the places that CAN officially call themselves Neapolitan. The crust is the perfect balance of flavors that the other places get just a bit wrong. Those first checks off the list lead me to the even better experience of the food. The Romantica Pizza was an experience in itself super fresh and completely delicious. The dough was the most outstanding point in it, it was so soft and with a slight chew reminded me of a specific dough used in a different dish I've had. He was in the restaurant business and found this great place for us. The Pizzas was great and the salads also. Friendly and great service. I ordered the Burrata Caprese salad and the Pepperoni pizza with a couple of additional ingredients, mushrooms and tomatoes. My husband had the Burrata Caprese and the Carnivore Pizza, excellent, our son the same and he was also as happy with the food as we were. Needless to say we highly recommend this Pizza place and firmly believe you will be as happy as we were. Another great evening having the food trucks come to our neighborhood. This time we were lucky enough to have Pie95 in town! I have been wanting to try one of their famous Neapolitan Pizzas since I first saw pictures and today was my lucky day. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza for $13. In less then 10 minutes my pizza was really and so was I. The pizza had the perfect amount of char and the crust was cooked perfectly to my liking. It was probably some of the tastiest crust I have ever had. All the topping were so fresh and if you watch you can see them making your pizza from scratch. Now my only reason for 4 not 5 stars was that I thought the toppings could have been cooked a little more. The mozzarella and pepperoni just didn't seemed cooked enough for me. This was still a very good pizza and I will 100% be returning to them to get more delicious pies. You gotta try it! read more

Flag down the bright yellow food truck with a giant wood fired oven attached at the hip, because you're going to be blown away from first to last bite. Chef/owner Evan is all about sharing his talents and positive vibes with locals. Onto the dynamite pizza. The Margherita Pizza only contains a handful of ingredients, but as is the case with classic Italian cooking, simplicity is key. The flavors executed from the cheese, sauce, crust, etc. are enough to drive a man to his breaking point (in a good way). Last night's Carnivore was loaded with thinly sliced salami, pepperoni and ham. Let's just say it brought my taste buds to a state of unadulterated enlightenment. The high oven temps create the perfect crust. I only wish I could track these dudes down more. Whenever they're parked at Aardwolf, I make it a point to visit. I took a couple of bites and the burnt taste from the bread over powered the sauce and cheese, I love burnt pepperoni tho. I still have a burnt after taste of the pizza. The pie is overpriced for a 12 inch plain and especially pepperoni. $35.00, the bread had a weird taste and the over burntness just destroyed my kids excitement to have pizza. we've been to plenty of wood fire pizza places with descent burnt spots, which is expected, but never had the aftertaste! The pizza is great, I wouldn't say it's the best pizza I've tasted in Jax but it beats out a lot of other joints, probably the best pizza that's made in a food truck for sure. I go for the carnivore which sets me back around $14. A lot of folks in the office raved about how great the wings are and of course, since I take a late lunch they are always out of wings. This was my lucky week... I arrived just in time to get the last batch. I couldn't decide on what flavor I wanted so they tossed it all their sauce. Tonight we had a girls night at Pie95 pizza. Once a food truck, now a brick and mortar! I have been following the truck for years and am happy Evan finally has a brick and mortar. He is passionate about his product. The pizza is solid. The crust is light not heavy in the belly. My personal favorite is the Romantica-tomato sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomato, arugula, balsamic glaze, parmesan and evoo. I enjoy the peppery flavor from the arugula paired with the balsamic sweet. The curry lemon pepper wings are delicious. Just try them so good. The burrata salad had some meat to it, not literally, but it wasnt just burrata, on lettuce and some bread. It had bite from the red onion, basil, cherry tomato, balsamic glaze and Mike's hot honey. If you are out on King St. be sure to try this place. read more
