It's new so it's time to try. How many of these make your owns will last. They did a nice job on decor. Bright, actually clean, music and booths n tables. Menu is straightforward. You can build your own for $8.49 and get 11.5in. Or chose from their favorite pies. Or custom those. They were friendly and attentive. 3 crust choices. House made, whole wheat and gluten free. 5 cheese choices. 7 sauce choices. A nice choice of toppings however fewer than some other places. Pizzas were nicely assembled. They pushed the salad sale. Well we bit and chose the Ceasar. Very average. Fresh express at best. I'll pass. No alcohol. Just soft drinks, tea and bottle water. The booths are spacious. About 5-7 mins pizza came to the table. Nice! Crust was good. Very thin. The pizza were flavorful. Glad I topped mine with extra cheese. We added meat balls to the Alfredo. They crumble them on. They came to the table several times to check on whether we needed take out boxes and to check on satisfaction. They actually clear the table too. I'm glad we stopped. It's easy. It's fast. It's simple. 2 pizzas, Ceasar and 2 drinks $31. I'll go sans salad and save the $9. Hope it stays tidy neat. 6/26/20 Been a long while as we went to another place. I've been here several times over the years and have never had to encourage the person putting on our vegetable toppings to put "more on" because they were barely covering the top with them. My little one spoke up and asked for "a lot more please" before we actually got the bare minimum on our pizzas this time. Might be a bit before we try to come back. The service was fine. Already ordered when saw how bad everything was. The place is so dirty. The entrance door and windows filmy and finger prints all over. Most surfaces had fingerprints and crumbs. The drain below the soda machine had a black buildup. Outside the tables were all dirty and in need of a deep cleaning, along with the trash bin. Terrible customer service. The girl who was making our pizza was very rude and rolling her eyes. Unprofessional kids running that place. We used to go to this place and decided to stop going there. Was a bit disappointed with my visit to Pieology today. The person who made my pizza was very nice, but skimped on the toppings and I didn't have the heart to ask for more lest it become an "extra charge". The pizza was cooked, but not as much as I would have liked. My friend got a side of ranch and it was a dollar extra...for ranch? Come on. Maybe 50 cents would be more appropriate. The guy who brought us our pizzas put them down and ducked out like he was late for class or something, without saying a word. We love this pizza but they have messed up our order many times so make sure if you're getting it to go you physically open the box and check your order while you're there to have them fix it on the spot. We have gotten home many times, tried to call to rectify (mainly just to give us our money back or comp our next pizza) and they never do, say a manger will call and no one does. But, the pizza is so good and offers gluten and dairy free options which is nice. read more

I have to give this place 1 star due to that we come here it's close to us I have special dietary issues and the guy didn't want to change his gloves For gluten free crust. We used to love pieology. Good ingredients, great options and the customization and price is awesome. Unfortunately the quality control just doesn't exist anymore today was the 4th time in a row we have had a bad experience. One of our 4 items the bottom was completely burnt- we are talking straight black. I loved this place and every time I've been it's always been awesome. However, they say all it takes is one bad experience and in this case it's all about the customer experience. I walked into Pieology this week with a buddy and was bluntly asked what I wanted. I told her "traditional with white sauce" - "WE ARE OUT OF WHITE SAUCE." No further explanation or expression of condolences. The lady with the green hair and multiple tattoos appeared to be the manager or at least shift lead and was incredibly rude and short with me for the entire interaction. She was blunt and rude and I nearly walked out. The food was great but the lady at the front solidly cemented the fact that I will never be there again. It's not how you treat people OR customers and I hope management reads this and takes appropriate action/coaching/termination. As this can't be the first time someone has noted this. read more

I've tried Pieology before and like their pies but this time around it was not a great experience. The pizza was burnt at the bottom so bad that all the black ash was sticking on my hands and tasted different. They should've rechecked the quality of baked product. read more

Wish we had known about this place sooner! Make the pizza eating experience so much better! Think of it like a Subway but with a pizza. You can customize your pizza with a wide variety of toppings and the result is always delicious. Or you can pick from pre-made pizzas. Staff is friendly and very nice. Pizza comes out hot and ready in record time! I was expecting a long-ish wait but the wait is really almost nonexistent. Can't speak much for their really busy days though. The crust was so thin, that it barely existed, and it was crispy and burned! Not good! Very disappointed in the amount of toppings! I got a takeout pizza here recently. I like that you can pick all the toppings, crust and sauce you want. I did a gluten free thin crust which ended up being tasty. All my favorite toppings. Waited a few minutes for it to be cooked in the pizza open. It stayed warm on my drive back to my hotel. Staff was helpful and quick. Overall a nice pizza to go. read more

Been going to different Pieologys for many years now, but this is my first time ever reviewing one - simply because the customer service at this location on 12/12 was the BEST I've had! Delaney helped us with our order and please give this girl employee of the month! Haha. I've never had someone be so kind and willing to help in a "fast" environment. She was offering up help/information herself without being asked. A lot of times you can feel rushed during the topping selection process, but not Delaney! She was so open to making sure the toppings were the right amount we desired, so our pizza was exactly what we wanted. Everyone else working was also very friendly, but she helped us and made such a great impression! Masks were being worn and customers were social distancing. read more

Worst restaurant in Folsom! Arrived about 5 PM. No other customers. Extremely cold in restaurant & tables outside were filthy and/or in bad shape. Was told they could do nothing about the cold. Ordered 5 pizzas & drinks. Fountain machine broken. We could not even get water so settled for lemonade which tasted terrible! Were told if you wanted water to go next door or use the bathroom faucet. Complained about the broken equipment & no water. Was told they were on the phone to get someone to fix fountain machine but no idea as to when it would be fixed. Finally, gave us one bottle of water & that was that! I've been to this location quite a few times before and I'm surprised I haven't left a review until now. This location is in a buzzing shopping center in Folsom right by the Palladio. I'm a hugr fan of the Pieology chain, so I'm extremely happy this is not too far from where I live (EDH). The restaurant is clean and the employees are very nice and helpful. The line can get a long sometimes (depending on the day and the time), however it goes by fairly quickly. Their incredients are always fresh and they always make pizza to perfection. I highly recommend trying out their thick crust; it's just the right amount of thick. There's a great variety of ingredients and you can add little or add as much as you want and make the ultimate pizza for yourself. Location is awesome, restaurant is clean, employees are super nice, food is BOMB! What else can you ask for? I'll continue to be a loyal customer read more

First of all if i could give it a 0 i would. I used to work here and first thing we noticed when we walked in was the fact that people werent in their full uniforms and the one girl with the half dyed hair wearing a SWEATSHIRT was rude as hell. She proceeded to tell me that i couldn't have garlic on my cheese bread when the ingredients are one scoop of each cheese, herb butter, parm and garlic. Also it was made on the wrong type of dough (thin crust). Then when my pizza was ready she slammed in down on the counter and said "heres your cheese bread" and then walked away. I would strongly encourage your employees to be more welcoming and nicer because its honestly unbearable standing in that line with all your employees giving us nasty ass looks. read more

The staff wore gloves and masks while making the pizzas, but I spotted the girl cutting and boxing our pizzas dropped her mask, with her back turned to the dining area. If there was ever a moment when the mask should be worn, it is when an employee is breathing over your pizza while she cuts it. read more

Unfortunately, their gluten-free pizza was pretty disappointing. The cheese didn't fully melt but the crust was burnt, the sauce was lacking in flavor. Bummer! Blaze's gluten free pizza was far superior. On the plus side, the ranch was quite good. I hope they work on improvements. read more

Its a Subway but for pizza. They have many dough options along with toppings but I found it more expensive than other similar pizza places that let you customize your pizza like this. But it is way cheaper than going to a round table! Update: I usually give an extra star for business who communicate with their customers! Decided to stop by since I was in Folsom but I will NEVER be going back!!!! The service is horrible. The cashier on 2/18/24 (a younger girl) was sooo rude. When it was my turn to pay she was just plain rude with such an annoyed face . She didn't even hand me my receipt,number,or cup she just left them on the counter and turned around I don't know what her problem was but her attitude continued as we were filling up our drink she was just glaring at my daughter as if we weren't allowed to get drinks. She then disappeared to the back room leaving the front completely empty as a family got there they waited like 5 min until someone decided to come out the back room to help. The food is fantastic and the staff are absolutely wonderful every time I'm by, I always know I'll be treated well when I come in for lunch. My son and I aren't huge pizza fans... We will dabble in it from time to time, but he won't eat more than a slice and I usually only eat maybe a slice or two. Typically it's because of how greasy the food is, and how the crust doesn't taste right. But we came here today after running some errands for my wife. HOLY $H!T! This place is so damn good. The crust was cooked perfectly and it was not greasy. When I ate it, I could feel my sins wash away. My son for the first time didn't fill up on his drink, but instead ate all of his but three slices. And I have to say, for a six year old he tore it up. I told my wife when we get home. I won't eat pizza unless it comes from here. The staff was polite and professional. And it was a relaxing environment for and Agee group to sit and enjoy their food. I was very disappointed in my recent trip Sunday 9/10 to Pieology. I had spent 2 days camping and hiking and decided to get myself a fresh pizza here on way home. I've been to the location in Roseville years ago and recalled it was good. This was not. I spent $16.79 plus tip for the pizza pictured here. As you can see the pizza is small in circumference with the cheese not even extending to the crust. The sausage, green pepper and red onion portions are beyond skimpy- don't we all expect our ingredients to be equally distributed across the pizza? There wasn't enough of the toppings to do that. I realize I had a warning: when I came in the young man asked if I wanted thin crust or self rising. The thin crust looked way too thin and small to support a pizza so I ordered the thicker crust. I watched him put sauce on it and I had to stop him: he put a small puddle on the crust and gave it one swipe to distribute. I asked if he could put some more on and he said, yeah sure. I didn't want him to feel like I was going to hover as he made the rest. I trusted him with the rest. That was my mistake. I went to pay and discovered that the thicker crust was an additional 2.25 more. I let the second guy know I wasn't aware of that; I guess it was too late now. I wasn't going to make a stink over it. Lesson learned. I didn't check to see if that price difference was posted. So I pay for the pizza and a side of ranch and add tip. The pizza goes in the oven unseen by me. It comes out quickly and goes into the box. I go to my car and go to take a piece before the drive home. When I opened the box I was alarmed. I felt cheated. At a time when food is expensive across the board I expect value for my purchases. I debated going back inside and letting them know this pizza didn't pass muster but I needed to be home and I felt like maybe there wasn't a manager in there, just these two boys. I am left to wonder if the pizza maker was properly trained, whether he was maybe stoned (really, that initial tomato sauce smear was clueless), or whether the franchise stands behind this dismal portioning. I will say, the crust was good, the ranch was good. It could have been a pricey but delicious pizza but it was not. I won't go there again (nor the other franchises). Next time I'll go to Papa Murpheys. read more
