Hubby and I decided to do a date night last Saturday and pretend for a day that our world was back to normal as much as we could while still sitting being stuck at home. We are still new-ish to Lodi and have not had a chance to explore many of the local restaurants due to the pandemic, but hubby decided we would Door Dash Pietro's for something a little nicer. We browsed the photos from Yelp and looked over the menu and decided on Bruschetta for an appetizer, Lasagna for hubby and Chicken Parmigiana for me, and an order of Tiramisu and a Cannoli for dessert. The Bruschetta bread was perfectly toasted and the toppings were phenomal... tasted like it was fresh out of someone's garden. I could have literally eaten nothing but all night and would have been pleased... but then I would have missed out. I get picky about lasagna sometimes due to the ratio of meat to noodle and this one was just right. I only had a bite of the lasagna since that was hubby's but it was fabulous. My Chicken was also just right...the chicken was thin and cooked perfectly and the breading and flavor were great. The delivery came quickly so the breading remained firm and was not soggy. My chicken came with a side of spaghetti and I actually saved that for lunch the next day since the chicken and bruschetta were so filling (I even gave the second piece of chicken to hubby). I forgot to mention that the meal also came with salad and a large loaf of tasty, fresh, gooey bread. Finally, we dove in to the dessert. The tiramisu was lovely and the cannoli was a first for both myself and my husband... and it was awesome. Our only complaint about the entire meal was that the loaf of bread did not come with balsamic vinegar and oil like it would have in person. That is one of my favorites. Also, the desserts were so tasty, but they were small. Once we were done splitting them, we each only had maybe 2 or 3 bites of each dessert. Although we will not be going here every weekend, we loved it and intend to revisit for date nights or special occasions. Thanks Pietro's!! read more

Delicious food and friendly and professional staff. We sat outside by a beautiful fountain and fireplace, and each table had a blanket which was a nice touch. I LOVED the bread- it was fresh and warm. I love going here for special occasions and we enjoyed a great anniversary dinner there. The dining room is always packed and so wish I had reserved ahead instead of sitting at the bar end at the entrance. Food is always amazing but they took away their steak dinner which was why we went but ordered the steak for two $130, and it was 1 ribeye sliced up very decorative to share so yeah next time we will order individual plates. read more

Bummed that I'm lowering my rating. Pietro's is usually our "Go to" for reliable great food, service and atmosphere. updating my review on food only. We've been out to dinner twice this week at Pietro's. There seems to be a problem with any bread/dough that goes into their pizza oven. This is a huge part of their menu. Pizza dough was raw but burnt on the outside. The server said it was the dough. Huh?? Unless theres a ton of sugar in the dough it might burn, but that's highly unlikely. My theory is the oven is too hot and they are rushing food through due to take out orders and the re-opening of outside dining. Pull it together please. BTW the dough was like that Saturday and last night. Will adjust my review as food improves. read more

This was such a wonderful find!! We came here for date night, and as a lgbt couple, it's super special to find a welcoming staff. Our server, Thomas, was the sweetest and super attentive, and the cocktail special of the day was divine. Not to mention the ricotta app! Table for 4 ,we sat outside on the patio, great ambience,our server was Shelby another 5 star performance, very helpful telling us about the specials for the evening, our table ordered, chicken parmesan, halibut with broccolini,Cacio e Pepe,Porchetta, all excellent choice's, and for dessert gelato pie, butterscotch boudino MMMMMMMM good. My boyfriend suggested this place for my birthday and since I had never been I thought, why not? I ordered the steak sandwich and I'm basing 5 stars solely on that...it was the absolute BEST steak sandwich I have ever had. It was a NY strip served on garlic ciabatta bread and it was so tender and well seasoned. I actually ordered it with a side of raviolis (which they did bring after I reminded them) but they brought fries instead and what a great mistake it was! They were hot, crispy and delicious! The next time I want a steak sandwich and fries, I know exactly where to go. My boyfriend ordered the pasta trio and we had so much food leftover, we took home enough for another meal. Just moved to Lodi and was googling Italian restaurant and they had popped up. The food is authentic Italian the food is amazing we eat about about twice a week. The best part is it's all fresh veggies fruits, meats etc. walking into the restaurant they have a fruit and veggie garden that is used daily for their plates. My fiancé loves the Chicken Parmesan and I get the Cacio E Pepe. The bread that comes on the side is so good always warm and soft it melts in your mouth.We do like to finish off out dinners with desserts we get the tiramisu and Butterscotch Budino with a cup of coffee. Definitely recommend to everyone who loves Italian food. read more

Worst steak in years! I ordered the 78 dollar prime steak which arrived drowned by insipid sauce over bed of terrible risotto. The steak itself was not prime but instead a thin choice ribeye at most. I've never been disrespected in a restaurant. I wish I could give this restaurant "Zero" star. First off. My family & I has been coming here in the last 3years or so since it was one of the best Italian restaurant closes to us (30miles). Last night we were offered to seat outside right away & since it was only 5PM I said "sure let's get some fresh air" The lady/girl that took care of us was very unprofessional. We tried to make exceptions/ reasonings why she may have behave the way she did but, we had enough at the end. 1. While she was taking our orders. She walked away and attended the table next to us & says "sorry I was just to help them" 2. My boyfriend showed her the menu & showed her the picture from my phone asking Me: "Is this the same meal? It says meal for 2 what does it come with?" Her : "yes it is.. it comes w/ ravioli & broccoli... " looks up at me and my boyfriend & adds "it's $55 for that meal tho" 3. My boyfriend ordered a beer when we placed our orders ..10min goes by... she comes back "You're food should be ready soon" My boyfriend " can I get the beer for now?" Her : "did you order a beer ? O the hazy beer" 4. As we were waiting around for our tab... she comes and grabs our plates saying "let me get these out the way" ... 1 we were still eating.. she didn't ask if we were finish & she goes "would you like a box for the pizza?" We still don't have our tab. --- so we were thinking she'll return w/ out tab. 5. We waited ... actually we asked the nice young man that was very consistent w/ providing us water & customer service throughout the whole night.-- we asked him for our tab. 6. She comes back and hand my boyfriend the box for the pizza and leaves the tab on our table.... The worse part. --- we leave. Gets gas at chevron 2 stop lights down the street & we realize we left the box of pizza. My son is 2 & he only ate 1 sliced of pizza. In a hurry back.. it took me 8min to get a hold of someone so we can go pick it up. They said "it's here, it'll be waiting for you" My boyfriend picks it up and more than half of the pizza if gone. Pissed and upset that they gave us a box of pizza that wasn't ours was very unsafe, unsanitary, unprofessional and disrespectful. I called to talk to the manager Olivia and update her on how upset I was about handing us a box of pizza that's not ours.. bottom line of the conversation w/ her ".. did you want to come back for a new box?" & somewhere along the lines of "... we're not sure which box is yours & that's one of them" ... I didn't ask for the manager to make me feel like I was desperate for a new box of pizza. I was callling to let her correct her employees by making sure they don't just give any box to anyone. It's unsanitary. The manager Olivia was just unprofessional and disrespectful. I wish the owner has recorded lines and listen to our conversation. read more

Had the lasagna here, and was less than impressed. Ever since I moved out here I've heard people talking this place up, but I really was not impressed, it just lacked flavor, and the price is steep! I love Pietro's! I have never had a bad meal there. My favorite is the chicken parmigiana, but the pizza is great too.

Great little gem in Lido. Great service! Hostess was friendly and professional, our server was prompt and doting. The fresh bread, bruschetta was delicious. Would recommend their signature salad. Unfortunately was not impressed with their "paninis." They are not grill pressed and lacked flavor however the M&M Pizza was very tasty. We enjoyed the patio seating and seeing their garden sprouting fresh food. Overall would highly recommend, just stay away from the chicken pesto panini. read more

This was my 2nd time at Pietros. I went about 2 years ago and everything seemed great. This time not so much! With the gaining popularity, the parking situation absolutely SUCKS! There was no parking in their one small parking lot so I had to park in the neighborhood around the corner and walk. I ordered a Cesar salad with shrimp no croutons. My salad consist of ONLY lettuce, 5 pieces of shrimp, I repeat 5 pieces of shrimp and Caesar dressing and it was $25!!! Not to mention soda is charged by the can, so no refills unless you purchase another can. I was there with my friend who hadn't eaten much off her plate because she was telling me about her recent trip. The waitress didn't even ask if she needed a box, she simply walked over and handed her one. I looked at my friend and said "I guess this is our cue to go". We had not even been there an hour!!! With the price of their food, they definitely should not be rushing people out of there regardless of how busy they are. I will NOT be back! read more
