Pike kitchen has so many options to choose from! I think there's something for everyone there. I bought the nambi tteokbokki from K Street food and it was so worth it for the price ($11). I love the addition of the crispy seaweed rolls!! The sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. I was happy that I had leftovers for the next day. My friend got the 3 tacos and they were pretty big! My boyfriend got the bento box ($11) from japomen. The portion for that was kinda small for the price. The pork katsu (main protein) was small and thin. The box was mostly just veggies. He wasn't full after finishing. If you have a big appetite, I would suggest ordering something else. I also tried the honey jasmine green milk tea from monster tea and it was made well. The only complaint was that the pearls were hard to chew (I also saw some other reviews mentioned this but wanted to try for myself) so I would suggest another topping. The place was spotless. I saw them clean the tables and take out the trash regularly which I appreciate. I will say that it was noticeably hot inside. All the fans were running at max speed but it wasn't enough and my friends and I were sweating. The parking out front was full when we came. Update: I went tonight with a friend and while we were eating a small look a like roach was crawling on the wall of the bench. I quickly had to grab my phone and move away. Fortunately the cleaning lady was nearby and kindly took care of the bug. However, it really was gross seeing that. I then attempted to get dessert at the boba tea place and found the tapioca real soft. I'm not sure if they cooked it too much or gave me a part of the batch that was out for too long but it was not like the usual tapioca. I highly doubt I will be going back. A gentleman from the boba tea place was very helpful by explaining to my friend and I about their ice cream options. He said they make the ice cream fresh. I never leave bad reviews but this is specifically for Pike Kitchen Bakery. Twilight bubble review: I would recommend that you don't get this bubble tea or who knows, maybe it's not like this all the time. 1) Ice is SO chunky, hurt my teeth, wouldn't go through the straw (see photo below) 2) Syrups not mixed in correctly. My first sip was all syrup, thought it was a new form of jelly at first It was SO gross, I had to open the cap and mix it myself.... Maybe it's because of the presentation? Or maybe it was the person that made my drink, it was a bad experience flavor was good though, only recommend if they make it right. This place is really nice to come with friends. They have a wide selection of food from various asian places. The idea of it is also really nice and its convenient especially when you have big groups with picky people who want various things. You kind of have it all here, so each person can get what they want and meet back up at a table. You could call this place a more upscale asian food court. Definitely would reccomend the ice cream (homemade) and the basically anything from the viet place. Another food hall? I'm game! Parking can be tricky since it's on a strip, but the few times we went, there was always some leaving so we were able to find a spot. If you can't find a spot in front, there's always room if you go down further on the strip or behind some of the stores. The place is not huge, but big enough so you don't feel too cramped. There are a variety of seating options, but if you come on a packed day/time, you might be waiting for others to leave before you find a seat. I really like the variety in there (better than the spot!), because you have bubble tea, ice cream, bingsoo (coming soon), street/snack foods from a variety of cuisines, poke bowls, korean, vietnamese, chicken (naked fried and sauce options) with beer, and even fusion food such as korean tacos and korean gyros (coming soon). So the few things we got: Monster Tea: Thai Milk Tea with lychee jelly was okay. Maybe it was the mix of thai milk tea and lychee jelly, but it tasted a bit off. It wasn't bad, but something was just different. The lychee jelly was small slices/slivers of jelly, so sometimes it was difficult to drink from Bowl Play: Poke bowl was okay, they take your initial mix and mix it in a separate bowl before putting it in your final bowl, so that's pretty cool. Could have used a bit more protein though, and it only came with one protein. I think I like poki DC a bit more. Also got their bulgogi dupbap - it was just spooned on top of my chosen rice, but they drenched my rice with the sauce (super yum), and put an egg on it (no additional fee). This was really good, and I had them add additional hot sauce too. Kstreet: Got the crispy seaweed roll with japchae noodles inside. This was pretty good! Light on the flavor, but they provide a packet of soy sauce if you want. Chicken & Beer: Spicy basil chicken wasn't really spicy. More glaze than I expected as well. This place is so fun! I went with three other people and we all got dishes to share. There are great vegetarian and vegan options too. Make sure to grab a tea hot or cold before you leave. My favorites were the seafood pancake and poke options. The bakery also has a great collections of cakes and pastries. I'm loving the food hall explosion right now. The multitude of options available will make any fattie joyfully squeal. I know I did. First off, it's hard not to compare Pike Kitchen to the nearby The Spot. Pike Kitchen wins, hands down. The layout is more open and less awkward and claustrophobic. There are more food vendors (bakery, drinks, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, poke), and a couple of stands don't seem to have opened yet. The buzzer you're handed after ordering that alerts you when your food is ready is so much more efficient than strugging to hear your name called in a noisy food hall. My one regret is coming at 3pm after having already eaten lunch, which meant we couldn't go all out and order to our hearts' content. We decided to have a "light" snack of udon and okonomiyaki from Japomen, dirty horchata and strawberry rose tea from Monster Tea, and a mochi donut from Pike Bakery. Yes, mochi donut. It's literally a deep fried donut-shaped mochi. It was different, and I dig it. I will definitely come back on an emptier stomach. An impressively diverse food selection with timely service. FOOD: There are a lot of food options at Pike Kitchen. You can have Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, etc. depending on your mood. I ordered a bowl of Udon from the Japanese section of the restaurant and enjoyed it well enough, although to be honest I think I would have enjoyed some of the other options more. I also ordered the spicy garlic chicken at the Korean section of the restaurant. That order was a little disappointing, but again - I have faith that the other food options were great. I might return and perhaps I'll give an extra star if that is the case. ATMOSPHERE: Large enough to accommodate heavy customer volumes, but small enough to be annoying. I was definitely stressed about having to find a seat for my group of four. SERVICE: Our orders came pretty fast. There is no actual service but they give you buzzers to let you know when your food is ready to be picked up. They will sometimes mess up, however. My friend ordered Banh Mi from the Vietnamese section without knowing exactly what it was and handed something else entirely. Went here on Halloween night with a couple friends and we thought it was going to be super busy but it was a moderate crowd which I liked because we were able to find a table. We tried various places and did it family style. We got dumplings and tacos from the K Street place and the dumplings were fried just right and the tacos were bomb. The portions were also good. We also tried the chicken place and it was so yummy and crispy. The Thai basil's flavor was the best one! Bubble tea is my favorite drink and I was so excited to try Monster Tea. However I got the sea salt coffee and it didn't like it that much. I'm not one to complain about my food and ask for a remake but I really did not want to be disappointed by this place. Went to Viet at Pike Kitchen 2 days in a row for some comforting Pho after tiring day at work. the PHO is okay, it's got a good amount of flavor, it's hot, and they serve it with the right accompaniments (basil, sprouts, lime, jalapeno, sauces). I had it with the spring rolls, which again, were okay, although I have had better. BUT this place is CLOSE to my house, offers FAST service, and is comparably priced once you factor in that you're not tipping 15-20% at a restaurant. There are so many options here and I love it! It's especially great if you're indecisive (like me.) From the bakery, my favorites are the Korean street corn dogs, red bean ball, and mochi donut! The corn dogs are always crispy and fresh. The texture and flavor of the red bean ball and mochi donuts are amazing! My least favorite item from the bakery would be the strawberry cream croissant. The cream wasn't as sweet as I hoped it would be. From Monster Snow & Tea, I've only had the red bean bingsoo which was delicious. The snow cream is smooth and milky. I'm hoping to try their bubble teas and ice-cream soon! From Bowl Play, orders come with a fried egg and you have a choice of white or brown rice. I've tried the bulgogi dupbop and spicy pork dupbop. I prefer the bulgogi dupbop. Eating it with gamjatang is a must! From Japomen, their noodle soup is pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend their sushi. The sushi was difficult to eat. BUT, their onigiri is super! It is hard (and confusing) to eat and falls apart easily, but really yummy! I recommend the Hawaiian onigiri (spam and pineapple.) From Viet, the banh mi's are huge! The veggies are fresh and the meat is flavorful. They have large portions and give you a little soup of the day on the side too! From K Street Food, my favorite is definitely the tteokbokki. The rice cakes are always soft and spicy! I also enjoyed the kimchi rice here. The portions may seem small, but they're very filling. From Pike Chicken & Beer, their popcorn chicken is a must try! My favorite is the garlic soy chicken, followed by the spicy basil. I recommend getting a side of fries too. Their fries are too good. Overall, I love coming to Pike Kitchen and there's always something new to choose from! As someone who's always indecisive about where/what to eat, Pike Kitchen is perfect. Waiting for your food is pretty nice, they give you a beeper that will alert you when your food is ready. Prices seemed pretty fair but the portions weren't representative of them. I got the fish sandwich which was no bigger than my hand, but still dug a $9 whole in my wallet. Was hoping it wouldn't be your average fish sandwich based off the price, but it was unfortunately mid. The environment is fairly noisy as they don't have ac and instead a giant stand fan. Parking sucks because you have to share with the other businesses around, and there's no parking garage/lot. There are tables inside and outside, but may not be enough depending on the crowd. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. People get up and go consistently so we didn't have a problem finding seating. Pike Chicken and Beer- The Soy Garlic Chicken... these are bomb. Honestly, it's probably mostly batter, but my taste buds weren't complaining. Tip: try the chicken batter and classic fries in the same bite... yum! (Found out this was good from being so hungry and couldn't prioritize which to try first). My go to here is the viet kitchen but i've tried other places in this "street food"-esque type food court. They have a Viet stall, Korean stall and Japanese stall. I wish I could have stopped by when the Burmese stall was there but sadly it was closed (hopefully it'll be back post covid). This spot also has a bubble tea, ice cream, bakery shop as well. Monster tea is also here and my go to there is the viet coffee and the boy's favorite is the mango green tea half sweet. There is always a wide choice of things here to get and i've yet to have a bad experience here. First time I came here I wanted to try the chicken so bad so I got the garlic soy chicken with their kimchin fries from Chicken & Beer. Second, their fries in itself was good but it was too pricey just to add the kimchi. Third time I came here, I got the stone pot Bibimbap which was soooo goood!!!!! And the portion was huge! So happy I found a good and cheap bibimbap place. My friend she couldn't passed the smell of it so she didn't eat it. Summer roll doesn't taste like a summer rolls because the sauce didn't taste right. Now, both of us are Vietnamese we know how summer rolls should taste like especially the sauce. The most important about summer rolls is the sauce. This place tops The Spot down in Rockville Town Center and has so much more variety and quality food. There's a mini bakery, boba, poke, ramen, Vietnamese and Korean food as well as a beer and chicken section. I love all of them equally and the prices are decent, nothing too expensive. The beef bánh mì is so bomb I could never get enough of it. Ramen is great as well. I have so many recommendations I can't even list them all. At the bakery they have this new item called a mochi donut and it is basically crack. So chewy and flavorful I could never get enough of it (it's only $2.50 each!!) The broth was hot but no flavor or texture at all. It feels like it was in the pot for very long time and lost some flavor. They used spaghetti noodles in it and it was firm. Very little small meat. It was so bad I could only ate half. I had to drink 3 cups of water because it was extremely salty. I had to order a sweet potato fries next door to be satisfied. This is a one star below place. For my visit, I tried only the Pike Chicken which I initially thought was just like your regular Korean style fried chicken. I ordered the chicken with soy garlic and waited. The order came out and I was blessed with greatness. The chicken appears to be slightly dusted with a starch to better grab onto the sauce. The chicken pieces are boneless tenderloin, super tender and succulent. The sauce was garlicky, savory, and sweet. Imagine the best soy garlic on amazingly tender chicken. Pair that with a beer from the stall and it's the perfect nighttime snack. The chicken is relatively inexpensive but a beer will set you back $5, so food by itself is super reasonable. read more

I went into this establishment not knowing it was actually a food court consisting of 4-5 small food stalls. I decided to to try the "Chicken & Beer" stall which was located furthest to the right. I ordered myself the Chicken Cupbap which is pretty much a rice bowl. I chose the soy garlic flavored chicken served with pickled radish. I have to say it was delicious and well portioned.
