I honestly didn't realize there was a Thai restaurant in Anderson Township until my boss mentioned this spot recently. Knowing my love of Thai food, I HAD to check it out, so my work crew decided to head there for lunch. Definitely glad we did because it was great! We went on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy. Most of the business seemed to be carryout but we wanted to dine in. The place itself is very open and inviting with lots of seating. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Not a fan of Thai food? They also do sushi if that's how you roll. There's also a full bar for libations. The lunch menu isn't huge but features a nice variety of dishes. Want it spicy? They make each dish on a spice scale from 1-10. We started with an order of papaya salad at a 6. We got it within minutes and it was super tasty and crisp plus it had a nice spicy kick. For our mains, one of my coworkers got chicken fried rice at a 1, my other coworker got the shrimp Thai spicy at a 6, and I had the pad see ew with chicken at a 6. We didn't wait long at all before everything was ready. My pad see ew was very delicious and had a nice kick too. I didn't leave a single speck of food left on the plate. This is definitely one of my new favorite Thai restaurants. I honestly wish I discovered it sooner. I already plan on bringing my lady next time too.

Most flavorful Massaman curry I've ever had. The Pad Curry Powder Noodles and Pad Thai also had the most flavor we have ever experienced for Thai food and I have been to Bangkok. Well worth it!

I ordered the Thai Pumpkin Curry with tofu and extra vegetables. It was incredible! My order was ready as soon as I walked in. The staff were warm and welcoming. It was a take out order so I did not get to experience the ambience.

I came by around closing after a work event. I came by about 30 minutes until closing and service was great but they did ask if I wouldn't mind taking my green curry to go and if I could just enjoy a salad while I waited. The staff was super nice and friendly and I honestly didn't mind. The salad was delicous and they made sure I had water for my tea. I got my curry and went on my way. Sadly as I began to eat I realized how incredibly oily my curry was. I've had curry countless number of times and never had it oily. I usually mix in rice to enjoy every last drop of it but my stomach couldn't handle all the oil.

So I'd like to start with the positives of a place and there I'm going to say the flavors from their Thai curries are excellent! They use a good amount of vegetables, they have a very rich broth for each Curry that is distinct from the other types, you can tell the yellow and the green apart just by smell let alone the actual taste. Beyond that... I guess the fact that they'll throw some heat in there if you ask is great? But if I order a seven and the seven is super hot I'm a little upset, so you can probably guess what happened. Also they messed up my order in three different ways, and the serving sizes are really small. I'm used to anytime I do take out from an Asian spot it's at least two meals, and I'm okay if it's not but these were small servings even for one meal period and in particular they were light on meat, not just the overall body of the dish. so basically if you absolutely have to get Thai food and you are right on the corner of 5 Mile and beechmont go ahead and check them out, otherwise I can think of better places within 15 minutes that I would rather go to

Mr T the gentleman at the front is an absolute unit. The food was great but I dont even care, the service deserves more stars than yelp lets me give. Dont miss out, gyoza and drunken noodles are AWESOME. And the Thai beer he had us try was very refreshing and I dont really like beer. Will definitely be back

I wanted to try a new carry out option in Anderson and I was so pleased to come across this place. I love the smaller menu. Perfect amount of menu options compared to other Thai take out restaurants. I have tried numerous Thai restaurants and I have grown fond of a few. Among them Pin Toh Asian is a stand out because of its consistency in taste, quality and heat. I always hate this at Thai restaurants, when I order a curry dish and what I get is lot of vegetables in some thick gravy, not a curry. I expect curry, and that I get only at Pin Toh Asian. Amid coronavirus situation, I requested the person at the reception to take my payment on the phone and bring the carry out to my car parked outside the restaurant. They readily agreed and I really appreciate that too. One room for improvement I would say the meet and greet; in other words the hospitality is not that great at this place. It is very dull and mundane. read more

Have been going to Pin Toh for quite some time. It's our family's 'go to' for Asian food even though we have tried the others in the Anderson area. You might not think of it as it's tucked into the back of a strip center next to McDonalds where Kunkle's Pharmacy (now Tri-State) and FedX are located. Always fresh and really good. Say hello to 'T' if he's there hosting/serving taking care of customers. Not open on Sundays. read more

This is the best Thai food anywhere. We had the crab ragoon, spring rolls, green curry and chicken basil stir fry, all where perfect! They are short staffed like all restaurants around, so you have to be patient if you dine in. Service was very friendly. read more

The interior has a somewhat cold or sterile feel and the tables are not the cleanest. The service borders on the rude and can best be described as indifferent. They really have no idea in the server department. However, the food is excellent. Well above average for Thai. read more

The food is amazing . Just as amazing as before . The thing is I've had 3 times 2-3 chicken dishes each time . There is always very little chicken . Not much protein in the dish . So I'd say you have to ask for extra or they need to include more than 4-5 bites of chicken per dish .. other wise awesome . read more

Wife and I got takeout for the first time here. This place is fantastic. My wife got the lunch special with Thai fried rice. I got the Pad Kee Mao lunch special. Holy heck we're they fantastic. Spring rolls were amazing (I've never raved about a restaurant spring roll). The Pad Kee Mao might be the best I've had, although I found the noodles a little thinner than I'm accustomed to. Flavor was perfect though. My wife loved her order as well, although she did say it was a touch spicy for a 2/10. She's less spice tolerant. I had a 5/10 and found it to be nicely spicy but not overbearing. I consider the price to be a great value. Having just moved to the area we will be back many times. read more

Rude service- DO NOT recommend any more!! Have been a loyal customer for over 2 years (since November 7, 2020). Every single week at least once or twice per week I would order take out on way home from work. Love the food but cannot stomach the rude, passive aggressive waiter, "Tee." He holds grudges! Had an order go wrong due to Tee's error a couple of MONTHS ago. It was the SAME exact take out order I had gotten every week for TWO years-- but Tee changed it, rushed to get off the phone and got it wrong. When I came in to pick up and pay, I pointed out the mistake. Tee had a LOUD, horrible temper tantrum! Tee yelled at me, blamed me and even tried to LOUDLY guilt me into paying for HIS mistake!! Tee has never forgotten! One night a couple of weeks ago, I dined in. We had a sweet, kind Thai woman server. Tee was not our server but was very rude to my friend and me. Tee rudely forced us to leave right at 9pm-- was very mean. Came in for lunch today to celebrate my brother visiting from out of town. NO ONE else was in the restaurant. Yet, we waited, and waited, and WAITED over 40 minutes for Tee to take our order. We even had to beg him to take our order. We politely asked, and Tee raised his voice and angrily snapped at us with,"Wait!! Hold on!!" We watched patiently as Tee served grubhub orders and walk in orders and completely ignored us. The service was not pleasant. Tee never smiled nor made us feel welcome. A simple lunch which started at 11:30am ended at 1:13pm! We had to beg Tee for the bill and beg for boxes for leftovers. Hard to enjoy the tasty authentic Thai food when the service is so mean and rude!! This was my brother's first time to try Pin Toh and he left extremely upset. Tee accused my brother of not leaving him a tip when my brother stuck Tee's tip in the tip jar by the cash register instead of handing it to Tee. Tee insulted my brother with a RACIAL slur!! Very upsetting meal that was needlessly made intentionally uncomfortable by Tee!! :( Today, my brother strongly urged me not to be loyal any more to a place that allows a waiter like Tee to treat a loyal customer with anger, rudeness, disrespect and passive aggression. Shame, I love the food but not Tee anymore! read more

We were so excited when Anderson got a Thai restaurant. The first time I ordered from here I had Pad See Ew with chicken. It Was delicious except was way hotter than a "3". Second time I ordered Cashew Nut Chicken and it was awful. I've never had Thai cashew nut chicken that was breaded. It was also swimming in oil. I've never had a Thai dish that was swimming in oil. Very disappointing read more

We ordered the Tom Kha soup which was sweet rich from the coconut milk and savory , full of veggies and meat. Two main dishes were the Red Curry , deeply flavored and full of veggies and meat , nice heat. Also had the Mee Eew noodles with tofu. Loaded with flavor and full of tofu. It came out to about $50 and that included a $5 tip. We both really liked what we got, but I'll stick with my specific opinion. The spring rolls were crispy and definitely hit the spot as an appetizer. As for the pad Thai, it was a great portion size, the spice level was exactly what I wanted, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. It didn't have an overwhelming amount of bean sprouts, which was appreciated. The sauce was rich in flavor and the noodles were just right. We both agreed that we would order from here again. The Pork Wontons in Chili Oil were a standout and the Steamed Pork and Shrimp Soup Dumplings were also fantastic. The Triple Delight was just okay, but given how delicious the dumplings were, I couldn't subtract an another star for the mediocre Triple Delight. The restaurant is quite beautiful, which was a huge surprise given the restaurant is in a strip mall. Overall, our dining experience was relaxed and wonderful.
