This restaurant is definitely not worth your time or money. The blackened grouper was so tough I had to cut it with a steak knife. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. Major disappointment... We were excited to try Pincher's because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Unfortunately large flies, and poorly prepared food combined for a poor experience. The highly touted (by our server) blue crab appetizer was so salty and buttery I could hardly finish it. Soup and salad was a 4oz. cup of decent chowder and wilty lettuce. Our sons kids meal was canned fruit in sugary syrup. Staff was friendly. Flies were disgusting landing on our faces and food while we ate. To bad we didn't order a pizza and save $40. read more

Liked it so much I went 2 days in a row. My best friend and I spent my last few hours here on earth as a single man over a massive plate of mussels and a great grouper sandwich. I was impressed with some of the prices and others not so much. But the food and the service with a smile was excellent! Our party of 4 got seated right away with a view of the water. After much debate on what to order, we put in our orders. We gobbled up the hot cheese and crab dip. I loved the crab cake appetitzer. mom and dad werent into their grouper or mahi mahi. It was a little bland and charred. The menu, of course, leans heavily toward creatures from the deep, and I believe that only so much can be done to make an amazing meal from such denizens of the sea. About what one should expect of a multi-location place in a high-volume tourist area - nothing special. Two for one margaritas were okay. Steamed oysters were smaller than I expected. I was excited to try this place but I must admit, it started of on the wrong foot and the other limbs didn't do to well either. My oysters had more shell in them than around them. They looked they were shucked but a 3-year old with a sledge hammer. I got the snow crab legs which were boiled in water from the dead sea. Way to salty! The fries were ok, and my friend seemed to like his crab cake. Service was ehhhh. My advice is to drive 500 feet further south and go to Joes crab shack before this place. Our experience started off well until our food came out and a dish was prepared incorrectly. By the time it came out correctly everyone else at the table had finished eating. And we asked about the remake 3 times before asking to see the manager, or getting the food. In the meantime, our waitress (Anny) forgot about us; we were asking other servers about the status of the order. When the manager finally came over he was insincere & made no effort to correct the situation. Green beans were so fresh and tasty. Fries... Outstanding. We also ordered shrimp platter, scampi. Probably better off going with BBQ or another way. Butter and pepper was the taste of the scampi. Our waiter/server was Jack, we were there on Dec 31, 2019, and he was fantastic, told us everything about the food and drinks, and always walking by but never bothering us, he was absolutely one the best servers we have ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant, all the dishes were mouthwatering fabulous! We wanted Key Lime pie but was just too full to eat it so I bought one to take back to the condo...it was HEAVENLY delicious and light and fluffy! Sure wish I was there now!!! read more

Had one of the worst soups I've ever had here with their "Louisiana style" gumbo recommended by the waiter (I believe his name was Kyle, but I may be mistaken). It was WAY oversalted, to the point where it made my tongue shrivel. The atmosphere was pretentious, in a "we're trying to look like a local seafood restaurant but we're really a corporate chain" kind of way, and the food was expensive. Even considering that it's in Naples, your wallet could go further elsewhere where you could much better quality for the same price at the joints on 3rd St. Overall, has the trappings of a 2-3 star restaurant, but that soup was just dreadful and the recipe shows a complete lack of understanding of what a soup should be like. I can't give any recommondation to a place that has that on the menu. read more

WELL, THE VIEW IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE FOOD, but it's not that bad we had the combo plate for two people but the sides they gave you were for one. I had a Cape Cod which was ok in a small glass and hey give you a two for one which is really one. It's a nice place for lunch or shack but I would pass on dinner. Was here on Sun.19th. Had a large group with 13 people. Had a short wait but ok. The staff was very courteous to us. The menu had many choices. When food came it was really nice. The amounts were very large on each order. For the cost I think it was worth it for sure. Seafood was delicious and sides were good. Any need we had they took care of. Stopped by Pinchers recently while in Tin City because was really craving some fresh fish. Though it was very busy we were able to get seated right away. We were greeted by our server who was sweating profusely and wiping her brow, which was really not appetizing and understandably was working hard but it just also immediately off putting as we felt rushed. We ordered drinks and appetizers and the appetizer came out very quickly but waited over 15 mins for sodas which seemed to be a bit long to pour something not coming from the bar. We ordered grouper sandwiches, fries and coleslaw. We waited close to 40 minutes for our food. The server kept coming by telling us it would be just a little while longer, but it just didn't seem to come. Our food finally did arrive and it was just ok. Not bad, but not anything to write home about, didn't seem to be much flavor, just ehh. In the theme of waiting, the computer went down and it took another half hour for the server to bring out our bill which needed to be hand written. I am very understanding that technology problems happen but after the first 10 minutes it should have been done by hand. I was very underwhelmed with my experience today and if am back at Tin City for lunch I will go and would suggest skipping all the waiting and average food and go to Riverwalk or Kellys, right next door. read more
