As the first place my boss took me to while settling in Miami, this place was a HOME RUN! A casual dining establishment, I found a giant trophy from Burger Beast declaring it the best burger. I don't know who Burger Beast is or what their about but if a place is sporting a trophy on the wall for bad ass burgers, I'm going to take it for face value. I was definitely not disappointed as I ordered a fritanga burger which featured a giant block of cheese on the sandwich along with some bacon cheese fries. There is also a wide range of beers to pick from and there was nary a table to be had. The place is small with a funky look, their menu is simple but delicious based on pinchos and fritanga. We ordered a steak pincho, one hot dog fritanga and a side of fried tostones. They served this with a garlic mayo sauce and pink sauce, and holy fritanga ...the hot dog dipped into the garlic mayo was to die for!! They also have nice selection of craft beer. I ordered El Hefe(wheat beet) by Wakefield's and my wife got the Sweet Potato casserole, I'm glad the have a nice selection of craft beer; however, $7:50 for a pint of local beer(El Hefe it's made in Wynwood) and Sweet potato casserole(made in Oakland Park) its a bit too much. Overall the food was amazing, service was great, but a bit expensive for fast food. Am I going back, probably but not as often as I would like to due to their prices. read more

I come here all the time and although my experience is a hit or miss I know the potential this restaurant has. I usually order the Perfecto burger or the Vaca Frita plate with Cajun fries. Both orders have fantastic flavor, especially paired with the pink sauce! I give it 3 stars because sometimes the vaca frita is beyond dried and burned or they miss putting in the sauces or they run out of a type of fry (regular fries and sweet potato tots). read more

My Pincho Latin chicken had partially wilted salad and unfortunately the chicken was also very mild on seasoning. The bowl was a large size but then again they need to quality inspect the lettuce and step up the seasonings on the chicken. The name Pincho Factory made me think this was a real brick and mortar pincho place. Let me explain what I understand for pincho. If you have gone to the Orange Bowl, to the Fair, to Santa's Enchanted Forest, or to the Court House, you know what pincho I am talking about. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to the intersection of Fountainebleau Blvd and 97 Ave, where there's a pincho lady. But before I get carried away, a pincho in Miami is a few pieces of pork on a skewer, cooked on a grill and topped with BBQ sauce. Good on-the-go food, disruptive to any normal digestive process. So, after hearing many things about Pincho Factory, and reading many things, I felt that if I didn't hurry over I would be missing out. I bookmarked it and then, late one night, I found myself hungry and with nothing to do. I had seen that Pincho Factory was open late, so I went online, got myself a Yelp deal, and boom! Pincho Factory here I come! When I got there, to my surprise, there was no pork pinchos drenched in BBQ sauce. I dropped a Tony Montana "OK", and checked the menu. This place is like a chop chop place but instead of chopped chicken, it's a pincho on top. I must be in heaven. I ordered the steak pincho on rice (original sauce), Cajun fries, and a Lagunitas beer. The food took some time to cook, which is new to me, I thought this was a fast food place. When the food arrived, it looked good. I got my food and started to analyze everything piece by piece. One french fry, nothing special, a piece of steak, it's OK, some rice, I don't get it, some sauce, what a bust. Then I had a revelation, and I quickly mixed everything together. What seemed bland suddenly turned delicious. The ingredients put apart are not impressive, but if you eat it all together they make a wonderful experience. My steak pincho magically turned into something like a lomo saltado. The Lagunitas beer was doing its magic and things were good for me. When I finished eating, my hunger was subsided and I was truly satisfied. A Miami Heat game was playing on the TV screen, so I stayed for a bit to let the food settle. As time passed, I realized that this same plate, minus the fries and called a kabob instead of a pincho (at a restaurant in the Gables called P*sh*), it's double the amount and not nearly as good or generous. On a strict economic sense, Pincho Factory is the winner. Three days later, I was back for more. This time I went with friends. I had a burger, my friends had hot dogs and my better half a chicken rice platter. I asked about the dogs, and I was told that they were pretty good. The chicken platter also got good compliments. As far as my burger, I won't label it as enormous, I have regular sized hands, but I would say that it reminded me of my years in college when things were home made and there was no mega nothing. So it's kind of difficult to give a restaurant a 5 out of 5, just like how I find it difficult to give a movie a 10 out of 10, unless it blows me away. However, giving the Pincho Factory a 5 out of 5 was ridiculously easy! Now aside from the fact that after eating at the Pincho Factory, my husband and I HATED ourselves for letting ourselves go and just pigging out, the food was the "bomb . com!" And yes, that will be the first and last time I type "bomb . com." The decor was on the modern side and the place was small - it only had a few tables and a couch area. They have their usual food items on the menu (burgers, pinchos, hot dogs, etc.) and then a special menu to the side with their not-so-usual items. The staff was very welcoming. The prices are decent for what you get. We decided to have the Western Burger (burger with bacon, onion strings, and bbq sauce), Foreman Burger (a burger with two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of the buns), Cajun Fries (fries with grilled onions and pink sauce), a Steak Pincho (meat on a stick!), and the Fried Cheesecake (think of it as a cheesecake chimichanga!). The Western Burger and the Foreman Burger were both flavorful and the burger was well-seasoned. Now, the Cajun Fries - I didn't realize that I was eating most of the fries until the husband called me out on it! They are SO good and highly addictive - I actually want an order NOW! The fries were extra crunchy, even with the grilled red onions, pink sauce (probably ketchup and mayo) and seasoning. Let's talk about the Steak Pincho (which comes with cilantro sauce). Now, to quote the husband "This is better than the meats on the sword at Texas de Brazil!" WHAT!?! Yes, the meat was THAT flavorful, THAT tender, and THAT damn good! Fried Cheesecake. Started w/: The Hot Dog, %100 pure vienna goodness topped with cheese, green peppers, onions, and pincho BBQ sauce. This was soooooo good. I usually just put mustard on my hot-dog but I went all fancy and crazy by adding the pincho bbq which to my surprise worked really well adding a sweetness with every bite. It was delicious and inhale within seconds. Next up: Double Pincho Burger topped with stuff I don't remember because I was enjoying every bite I took. No matter what people say "size does matter" and if you've listened to 790 the ticket it's "thicker and wider" they want and I'm talking about patties here so get your mind out of the gutter. The patties were literally double the size of the single pattie burger and there were two of those nice size patties, one of top of the other missionary style. I barely could fit my mouth around it... to take a bite out of the burger. Again, get your mind out of the gutter. The burger was devoured within minutes. It really hit the spot and something I will eat again and again.. Also tried: Large fries. Perfectly fried with a crunchy exterior . It was addicting. I could not stop eating and dipping it in their variety of sauces especially the aoli. Hmmmm. This place is top notch. Nice staff and casual atmosphere. The icing on the cake for me was not the fried cheesecake, which is something I definitely need to try sooner rather than later, but the couches. Well waiting for the food on the couches while playing cards with my friend, then playing some more cards after the food was consumed because with that much food comes that drowsy, sleepy feeling called the "Itis." Obviously it's never to safe to drive cars in that state so being a good citizen I kept myself off the roads of Miami. But I digress. This is a great place to eat good food, during lunch, dinner, on weekdays, or weekends, but definitely a future spot for the late night munchies run the way ala Los Perros. Single Steak Pincho ($3.99) A skewer. Very tender w/ a minimal charcoal burn. I just love the smell. Great chunky pieces! Fried Cheesecake ($3.99). A fried roll of cheesy goodness. A chubby version of rolled crepe. It was great, minimally sweet. What I'll be coming back for are the Pinchos! What you do is choose Beef (6.99), Chicken (6.99) or Steak (7.99) Then select either a Pita (similar to a Wrap), Salad (mixed green w/ Italian dressing) or Rice Bowl (w/ white rice). Then Add additional ingredients such as tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, cheese, jalepenos, pickles, lettuce, banana pepper or The Mix (salsa) and you are on your way. They also have great sauces. I came here with 7 others following the recent Yelp Dysfunctional Family Picnic, and 3 more showed up to join us after we'd begun eating. The Pincho Factory is in a storefront in a strip mall and seems to be one of those places where they don't necessarily offer a large menu with a huge variety, but would rather specialize in a few things and do them well. Their menu consists simply of burgers, hot dogs and their namesake pinchos which you can get on their own (on a wooden skewer), in a rice bowl, in a salad, or in a pita/wrap. On the night we came here, I had the brown rice bowl with a steak pincho and "the mix", which gives you a bit of each of their "ingredentes", and I got their mango sauce. As others have mentioned, the food here is really flavorful and tasty. However, if I come here again, I'll follow the advice that another yelper posted in their review, and I'll get a few different sauces to try. I also think I'll try a wrap or burger next time, as those looked really tasty! Overall, everyone seemed satisfied with their meals, though we were a large group and they had a steady stream of customers on this Saturday night, they seemed to have plenty of staff and enough seating to accommodate everyone, and their pricing really isn't bad for what this place is. read more

I had heard the buzz about Pincho Factory from Burger Beast and others, so when a Groupon was available, I bought one. The Groupon was expiring this week, so I finally dragged my butt out there. Wow. Now I've been back three more times in ten days. If my car could drive itself, I'd put this place on "speed-dial." The first time, I figured I'd go with the named item, a couple of pinchos. Kristel, the female half of the husband-wife team that owns and operates the place, helped me with choices of add-ins. I got the steak pincho on pita with "The Mix" (diced cukes, lettuce and tomatos), chopped onions and jalapenos, with the chipotle mayo (not on the menu - always ask about any new sauces). SCORE! This was great. A sloppy mess of great - be sure to get napkins from the industrial-sized dispenser *before* you start. A good amount of tender, seasoned, tasty steak chunks with a nice char from the flame grilling, and everything went together great. N.B.: I can see where someone could totally screw up the combinations, but all the ingredients are fresh. I had a chicken pincho to go, with The Mix, onions and Mango Sauce. The smell of it while I was driving home was unbelievable. It tasted great hours later, too. I've since gotten "naked" pinchos (just the marinated and grilled meat on the skewer) to go to have with a salad for supper, and they stand up on their own. They serve a quality grilled Vienna Beef hot dog on a good, locally-sourced, poppy-seed bun. Chef Nedal said his favorite is one with sliced, pickled banana peppers and grilled chopped onions. He likes mustard on it, but Kristel steered me to the Latin "pink sauce." A very good combination - I could eat these every week! I read a Facebook post that a special burger made for National Hamburger Month was temporarily back on the menu, so I hurried by to have a Fritanga burger. Gringo me didn't know what a Fritanga was, but I found out it is a term for a home-style Nicaraguan restaurant, and that a typical item is fried cheese. The Fritanga burger has a BLOCK of deep-fried cheese on it, and is normally served with a bit of a simple cabbage slaw and some Latin crema (think thinner and less-sour sour cream). This thing was sinfully rich and flavorful. I'm a chile-head, so I might slip on a sauce with some heat. the next time. Chef Nedal WILL cook your burger to your liking, so if you prefer rare, or prefer over-done (just kidding, that's my term for "well done"), just tell him! I also had the temporary special "Western" burger. It's a bacon cheeseburger with crispy onions and a smoky BBQ sauce. Also very good - I polished that one off in record time. They offer beer and wine; a little light on the wine list, but several interesting bottled beers and a hard cider. I had their sweet potato fries, which you can get a variety of dipping sauces for. I'm not an expert on them (really only had them once before) but these tasted good. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It simply couldn't be any better for a counter-service restaurant. One thing about the menu: Where it says "beef" that means ground beef, as in hamburger. The "beef pincho" is in the style of the Middle-Eastern "Kofte" style kebab. If that isn't what you want, go for the "steak." read more

I came here expecting Brazilian fast food or Brazilian fusion, thanks to a review mentioned here in Yelp. But as I ordered a steak pita wrap and their version of a hot dog, and then received the food... I noticed I got something that was unmistakenly Middle Eastern. The Middle Eastern spices caught my attention, and their special hot dog had something akin the Lebanese kafta (rolled ground beef) in place of a sausage. Confused, I went up to the cashier and... "Hey, uh... I'm just curious but is this Brazilian fast food?" "I've heard that but it's international fusion" "Oh okay, because I could swear that this is Middle Eastern, with a Latin twist with all the sauces and toppings." "Ah... well the owner is from Palestine and his wife is from Venezuela." Oh. That explains it - and the combo is evidently GOOD! NOTE: I loved the hot dog more than the shawarma (pita sandwich) but the pita steak sandwich got better as I finished eating it because of all the sauces that sank to the bottom! But this may have something to do with the angle I was holding the food while eating them. I would definitely return and get the pincho dog again - or even the pincho burger - but it would be more awesome if we had this place closer to downtown! I've tried the pincho burger, perfecto burger and the Latin bowl. The Pincho burger is their classic burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, the little chips, and special pink sauce. Their bowls are tasty and very filling! I like to get the Latin steak bowl. I'm giving 4 stars because I've had a couple of problems while picking up and they forget something multiple times. Well, it must involve some of the best fries in town (found at Pincho Factory, duh!), the only fried caramel banana cheesecake in town, and I would argue that the central piece to this puzzle is a pincho burger, of course. It ain't the signature sandwich for nothing. So what's with this Pincho burger? Well, it's an uber flavorful, well-seasoned patty topped with some yummy mayo-based sauce, onions, cheese, potato sticks, and tomato. But this is not the typical Miami burger, no sir. The star of this one is the meat, not the sauces. Go figure! And let me not forget, the bun is actually very good, too. And wait, wait, let's not forget the special touch...the bun is...dare I say...toasted! Oh yeah...people who love food have been wondering for so long why no one else has gotten it before now. If you load a burger up with toppings then toasting the bun is an absolute must. The fries? Ooohh oh, the fries! They have the perfect amount of salt, perfect crunch and cut to them and the are just divine. I hear it's the peanut oil...I dunno and I really don't care, as long as they don't change a thing! I went with the Pincho Dog this time around and decided to skip the burger. I realized that this place is not a Hot Dog place but a Burger place. Don't get me wrong, the Hot Dogs are good but I (MY opinion) dig more of a classic Dog. My boyfriend craved the Fritanga Burger that I had last time and he just HAD to have it so off we went with his sweet grandma. That woman is my kind of woman. She had a Egg n' Burger and she LOVED it and almost ate it all- Bravo! The fries are the funk- regular or Cajun, get them! I joked around with my boyfriend about having a Pincho Factory Truck at our future engagement party--- his eyes lit up and I even think they watered with happiness. Yeah. That's my man. Comfort food at it's best! You know sometimes you want to indulge in something fatty just because you know its going to be soooooo goood. Well this place offers just that for the fatboy/girl in you. Growing up in Miami you've heard of fritanga maybe you've eaten there or you've had a friend who's Nica tell you about it. Then you might know they have some delicious food such as carne asada, queso frito and their house slaw. Well imagine all that in a burger. YUP all that. The fritanga burger is the superstar of the menu here and its simply amazing beyond words. Brioche bun, huge hunk of cheese, nica cole slaw and a delicous beef patty. Might sounds like a bit much but seriously its just too good to not have it all. Other favorites a the toston burger and sides such as bacon and ranch fries or tater tots. On Saturday, April 21, 2012 I walked into Pinch Factory, I was wanting to like it, but was somewhat disappointed by the mess and a hockey puck I got for a burger. I wrote about it giving Pincho Factory two stars. That originally would have been it by me, until I got a Yelp message by Nedal A. who said he was the owner of Pincho Factory and asked that I try again. Nedal A. was very respectful and honestly I'd give anyone a star just for contacting a customer over there experience. And, believe me when I tell you I get so message that cannot be repeated. But, Nedal's was heart felt and he plays an important role in growing a positive community. My challenge was on. Today, I walked in and bought two burgers, a "Pincho Burger" and a "Fritanga Burger" I ordered a Fritanga, because I don't even know what a Fritanga is, other the WTF "What the Fritanga". I dissected both and put them on display as a Yelp photo's. Firstly, Pincho Factory was spotless, I like that, especially when your not eating at a dive! Secondly the burgers were cooked fresh, and they looked good! Note the untouched photo's. Service was quick, but I never had an issue with service. The Pincho Burger: This is the amp'ed up burger that I remember eating at Sergio's Pizza. Pincho's did it better, a lot better. The Burger was juicy, the bun soft, and the shoestring potatoes were crisp. Since I was happy now, everything was blending, even the mayo, that I didn't like before. The Fritanga Burger: Now this burger is about the cheese, and my guess it's called Fritanga Cheese. This is the cheese in my fond memories that squeaks when you eat it. Not that, that is a bad thing! I personally liked this burger best of all. I thought the flavor was better, may have been the cheese, who know's, but it was good, very good! Both were magazine made, meaning both burgers were very photographable! Well, i feel sweetness of the bun in conjunction with the sauces and the seasoning of the meat create a flurry of excitement tantalizing my taste-buds sending me back to my childhood when I was a little church boy ... After hearing all the good stuff about this place, I finally got to try it the other day when I was working in the area. I even brought a co-worker along for the experience. It was hard to decide what to get, the specials looked really good but I figured I should try the regular menu items to see what a Pincho really was.. I ordered a steak rice bowl and some sweet potato fries, my co-worker ordered the steak pita with the bacon cheese fries. You can't go wrong with grilled meat on a skewer! There were lots of toppings and sauces to choose from, I got my rice bowl loaded up with everything that looked good, and got a cup of each sauce to try them all. While waiting for our food, I took note of the interesting drink assortment in the fridge. Between the interesting specials on the menu and the choices of drink beyond the usual, the owner has to be a foodie, no question. When our food was ready I immediately went for my fries. They were good, properly cooked, and were tasty. I thought my fries were good, but I tried a little of the cheese fries.. Wow, the bacon was amazing. Combined with the sauce and cheese, the combo was excellent. Speaking of sauce, I dipped my fries into each of the sauces, I couldn't find one I didn't like, they were all good! My co-worker liked the cilantro sauce so much, she politely asked me if I minded if she took the whole thing, and then put it all on her pita. My rice bowl was awesome, toppings were fresh, the meat was tender and marinated just right. My co-worker mentioned this as well, stating that this was the best lunch she's had in a long while. I love it here. Its friendly, fast, and oh so good food. I love their salads, they don't make you feel guilty about the nice piece of steak that's smack in the middle of it. The burger, it's a must try. Seriously, whatever "secret sauce" they are working with, it does the trick in making this burger, mouth watering. There menu has a lot to choose from: sandwiches, pita, salads, burgers.They also have a few beers on tap, as they should! It's the ideal casual spot for a stop and go lunch. read more

Here is the best burger you can get under 10 dollars. Right here folks. Did I just catch myself saying that? I've been here twice and ordered the same thing. The Pincho Burger. Besides the fact that it's about time I try something else, it also should show that I have gotten to know said burger well. It's not the biggest burger I've had (go to any colombian fast food for that), but it's the quality that's real amazing. The meat seems to be a mix of blends and it's very characteristic. The veg toppings seem to come from a farm blessed by mother nature, and their sauces are sneakily good. The biggest nod to quality and reflection of much more expensive burgers? The bun. When you walk into your frou frou burger place, do you grab your burger with a flimsy grip, or do you have a real karate grip on it? Exactly. The burgers here have buns that resemble burgers triple its cost. It also adds more to the value, of course. $4.49 for a unique tasting burger patty, incredible toppings, and a great bun? Pincho Factory is one of those places you have always wanted to visit but may never had. They had a GroupOn on their site, and I am sure you have that one friend who is always raving about this place, so when my friend wanted to visit this place after work, we drove down Bird Road, and I finally had the opportunity to visit this food establishment. At my first glance, the place honestly seemed like a greasy diner with a hint of hipster class to it. It is located at a dilapidated strip mall (the one across Bird Bowl), which makes parking hard to find if it is a busy Saturday evening. When walking in, you see red couches and flat screens--a typical feature found in any bar nowadays. For my first visit, I ordered a beef steak pincho on a Californian salad bowl. The beef steak skewer is a bit small for the price, but the meat is chewy, well-cooked, and delicious. The Californian salad comes with almond, cranberries, and oranges. I just wish there were more of these garnishes on it because it just seemed to be filled mostly with lettuce. For $9, it could be worth it if it was smothered in mango sauce, but they just didn't have any available that day. If you go here, I recommend you try something greasy (as recommended by my friend) because that salad was just not cutting it for me during that visit. My friend did enjoy her food though. After reading all the great reviews and seeing the pictures, I decided to go with a friend. The locale is clean and has a nice decor. The person taking the order was very nice and courteous. The meal took about 15 minutes to come out, which was a bit more than I expected, but it was well worth the wait. My friend had a chicken pincho Caesar salad that looked very good. I had a tostone burger with bacon and an egg, which was delicious. Well prepared and a good portion size that hit the spot. We also split some Cajun fries that were good as well. Definitely glad I visited, and will be making more trips soon to try out the rest of the menu! :) read more
