Terrible service, probably the worst service I have ever had in my life. They completely disregarded us for over an hour, no water, no utensils, just absolutely did not check on us. Then when we finally spoke to someone, they played it off like there was a printer issue even though we watched multiple tables sit and eat and leave. They said they would compensate and fix it and instead took the two cheapest things off the bill (there were 4 of us ordering food and drinks). Even an explanation or apology would've made the situation ok. idk I just do not recommend, go to Lolita's. read more

Came here with a group of 5. The overall thought was: Good: the beer was cold Bad: all the tacos were lacking flavor. We ordered THE BELL (an elevated version of Taco Bell) and we agreed Taco Bell is a hell of a lot better Pork Taco - pork was dry and lacking flavor Shrimp Taco - pretty bland The group also ordered an order of the steak tacos, and street corn. We had planned to go to bar taco which had a 45 minute wait. We ended up walking to pink taco and there was no wait and could immediately be seated. Thoughts: for the price, we expected better flavor, ingredients, and overall quality. Came for a girl's night out, we were able to get a table right away even though we didn't have a reservation which was great. Our server Freddy was very nice and gave great service. We ordered a few apps like nachos and taquitos and got spicy margs, all very good. The manager (John) passed by and checked if everything was okay while we eating. It was on that weirdly warm (70°F) winter's day that we came out to Seaport. With the weather came droves of people. Like the place was so packed and so loud as a result. I felt like I was at a sports bar on game day. A friend arrived first (~19:10) and put his name down on the waitlist. He was told that it would be roughly 30-40 minute wait. We stopped at the (super packed) bar first to grab drinks. He got a bourbon, I believe, and the bartender didn't stir in the bitters. We had margaritas, and they were mediocre at best. But I didn't expect much from seeing the bartenders work. Ended up waiting for an hour (20:15) before our friend went to ask about our table, and they immediately sat us down after. What's the point of a waitlist if you don't use it.. Our waitress was friendly, but clearly looked overwhelmed with the amount of tables, which I understand. We ordered appetizers, and after a while, when we saw our waitress again, we ordered everything else. She told us that the kitchen was backed up, and that's why we hadn't received anything yet. She brought our drinks over, and there was a mix up. So instead of a pitcher, we got individual drinks. We told her, and she took them back while apologizing, but ended up bringing them back with a promise of the coming pitcher. We weren't charged for those two mango drinks, which is nice. I can't speak for how authentic the food is (clearly. I'm from Boston), but the nachos and corn were good. I generally like cleaner flavors, and the corn was very basic and clean tasting. We got our appetizers at 21:00, drinks at 21:10, and tacos at 21:20. By that time, the place was finally clearing up a bit, and wasn't as loud as when we first walked in. The general manager came by to check on us, since he remembered us from earlier (while waiting and drinking), and apologized profusely for the wait. I drank too much liquid (water + the margaritas), so my stomach was pretty full. I didn't end up eating the rice or beans, but my friends finished them. The Pink taco was good, and the Al Pastor was fine (not the best I've had, but pretty good). The Carne Asada was dry and tough, and I'm frankly disappointed I ate that second and filled the remaining space in my stomach. It's pricey for what it is, overall, but it is in Seaport, so I kind of expected it. I'd go back for the appetizers, but not too sure about everything else. Maybe they'll get a better handle on it in the future, and it'll be a smoother experience. read more

I have seen this place multiple times while passing by. So, thought we would give it a try. Damn, I should have gone to Chipotle instead. Overall the food lacked seasoning or as the judges on top chef says need more salt. We ordered Chile Poppers, Taquitos and Fried Avocado Taco. Chile Peppers were ok, not spicy at all. Taquitos were meh. Fried Avocado Taco - the filling was great, however it came in a plastic wrapper called corn tortilla. Drinks are solid. I'll start here with the food being pretty good. We had "the bell" tacos, tortilla soup, and a chicken taco bowl. The tortilla soup isn't what I, a Texan, would consider a soup. It was thicker and more like a purée. Different but delicious. The Bell Tacos were described as tacos you might get from Taco Bell. The side of beans were flavorful, the Mexican rice was far from anything in Latin America. The rice was par-boiled rice with a tinge of color. Something I'd expect from a box mix. The Chicken bowl was delicious. Basically a deconstructed taco in a bowl. The bit of rice at the bottom looked like normally cooked rice, very tasty with the occasional touch of gentle heat. We ordered the white sangria. They were out of fruit so it was a pitcher of bottled sangria for $38. Pretty sure it was similar to Eppa which is $4 at total wine. Perfectly good, just nothing special. Now the downside of this place: 1) labor shortage. Our waitress was overlooking most of the area we sat in including a large table of 10 or so. 2) The manager. Soon after the waitress finally made contact with us to say "I'll be right back" the manager, a portly blond woman, started yelling at our waitress in front of tables. The room is loud (kinda a downside) and the music thumps but we could still hear snippets of this crass New England manager publicly berating our food server who was obviously busy working. Why didn't she take her aside at the end of the shift? Perhaps chat with her in the kitchen? No, she decided it better to monopolize her time which means more tables are waiting. Then she make a huge ass of herself by yelling. The glances in her direction said "what's her problem?" Most managers actually help by running food to tables maybe taking water to empty glasses. Not this gal. After her outburst she totally disappeared leaving everyone to their own devices. From a diner's perspective, all problems with service could be solved by getting rid of the blond grouch. Also, parking for 2 hours in the attached parking garage was $18. read more

The drinks and the fries were probably the best part. The chicken taquitos were so dry and bland the chicken inside them had no flavor. Pink Taco's interior is super cute! I stopped by this place later in the evening to meet up with a friend for some drinks. I got their carnitas bowl along with their strawberry frozen margarita (peep that pineapple!). All the components in the carnitas bowl were made well and were flavorful. I live in the Seaport neighborhood and have been going to Pink Taco since it opened. They did a great job during the pandemic with takeout food and drinks. Sadly it has been going downhill in 2023. I last visited on a recent Sunday after the St Patrick's day parade and the service and food quality were poor. My nachos arrived after a long delay, and were luke warm as if they had been sitting a long time. The tortilla chips were all broken small pieces and I had to eat with a fork. Very sad. We went into pink taco in the Seaport on Saturday night for restaurant week. This place definitely didn't want their guests to know about the restaurant week deal. We had to ask for the menu for it, and they seemed confused/ irritated when we asked. The food was basically inedible. They initially got our order wrong but then came out with the right one. We were so disappointed and, I won't be going back. Not sure how these places survive in the restaurant scene. We got fajitas, and quesadillas. So, to mess that up, means it's pretty bad. Very disappointing. We came here last night and tried to look past the terrible service as food was decent and drinks were good but it was just too much. Our server spilled a whole cup of water on our table and didn't notice. Asked us why we need another napkin. He forgot to put in one of our appetizers, but didn't admit it and blamed the kitchen. Then returned to our table a few minutes later and said "did you want the street corn on or off the cob". Lol. We also ended up getting the corn ON the cob when we asked for off. My friend and I both ordered the same meal and he delivered 2 completely different ones. How does this happen when the second person says "I'll have the same thing"? So alarming. To top it off, we gave him 2 credit cards to split the check and he charged the total amount to 1 card but still charged the second card for half of the bill. I came into this bar with incredibly low expectations, knowing the food and drinks were subpar. My low expectations were absolutely stomped on when the bar manager accosted myself and my friends for standing too close to the dining tables next to the bar area (tables were completely empty). She legitimately SCREAMED at our group and surrounding people to squish against the bar because it was a "fire hazard". There were not many people seated here to eat, as it is the last resort in the area for food and drinks. Everyone was startled and scared of getting yelled at for simply standing and chatting around a BAR area. If this is how she treats customers I can only imagine how she treats her staff. Ask for spicy margarita on Happy Hour he charge us full price for our drinks. Happy Hour margaritas are $8 we were charge the regular price. We order tacos my tacos came out, but my lady had to wait about 20 minutes for hers. We order 2 more it took 40 mins. The establishment wasn't even pack. Great food, GREAT prices, HUGE portions! I would consider myself a bloody mary super fan, and their $5 house one was absolutely divine! Perfectly spiced and I loved the rim on it. We got here early for a 9:10pm reservation at the restaurant. We waited 10 minutes for our seats . We were seated a few feet by the front door. This place was busy for cinco de Mayo night. Fully packed our waitress got to us fast and took our order . She got a strawberry frozen Margarita in a pineapple cup itself and I got the Frozen mango .They make they drinks freshly made to order w/ agave , we got waters also. They had a Small menu today so our food come out in a reasonable time . We started w/ a quesadilla w/ carnitas in it . And a side of Mexican rice and Pinto beans . Music was very loud and it was getting more packed as we enjoyed our meal . We then got our order of fish Baja tacos (3) Those tacos were DELICIOUS. Cause I had the last 2 of them .
