I went for the first time with my friends. And it was just bad. It took a good 30-35 mins for a waiter to serve our table. There was no reason for it to take that long when everyone else was eating. And barely anyone there. They got our orders wrong(not once, but 3 times). The rice in the taco bowl was barley cooked, tasted like I was eating right out the bag. Ate here Friday 7/24. Restaurant was way too crowded. Our server had a mask on that didn't cover her nose. No one behind the bar was wearing a mask, and most of the workers that had one on, were not wearing them correctly. Couldn't wait to check out Boston's Pink Taco location... They were awesome abt social distancing. Everything was clean. Staff was great! Service was awesome We had the sweetest waitress, I believe her name was Makayla, (prob spelling that wrong, pretty young female long fire red hair) She was knowledgeable abt the menu and really patient. We didn't feel rushed. The drinks and the atmosphere are worth going back but I wasn't impressed with the food at all. The presentation was nice but the flavor was disappointing. We had an assortment of the lobster tacos (not worth the price, mostly fried dough and a small bite size of lobster in each taco) The shrimp Baja tacos (they were ok but could've used more seasoning or sauce, maybe even some sea salt) We also had the Carne Asada (not sure what kind of sauce was used for it but definitely won't order again) Street Corn was cold but the flavor was alright, could've used a little paprika. The nachos however were pretty good I'd go back for sure, but I'd be going for the drinks and atmosphere. The house margarita tasted like like water and the mule was awful. Our guacamole took an hour to get to our table, but tasted great once we started eating it. The tacos were disappointing. We came as a large group, which is understandably overwhelming. It took 1,5 hours for us to be served our first drinks, and the food tasted like it had been sitting for a long time. The waitress added drinks to our bill that never came out, and then spent 45 minutes trying to resolve her errors with the manager. The service was extremely slow, although our waiter was extremely nice. The food was meh. Definitely not something to rave about. There are much better options in the seaport that make pink taco less attractive (bartaco, Lolita's). I had great food at the restaurant but the service was horrible. I waited about an hour for my waitress to even ask for my order and bring me drinks. Then I was charged for the wrong table.. told me my charge would be voided and then charged for the correct bill. This was over a month ago and I still have not received my money back from the first bill that I was incorrectly charged for. I have spoken to many staff members and they have not refunded my money back. We arrived at 5:45 and there were only about 20 people there and roughly 15-20 open tables in the front room alone, and several more in the back. The hostess told us we could have a table but that we would have to leave by 6:30 because they had reservations coming in at seven- we couldn't believe it! We left and went to Bartaco... when we went online and checked OpenTable for reservations at Pink Taco, there were several available! I had an amazing experience even through COVID-19 I was seated quickly and the quality of service was beyond expected I absolutely loved having hailee H as my server who was educated on the menu, live in her personality, and punctual with every order with an attitude that was so amazing we talked for what felt like hours. Overall our experience at pink taco was only okay. The margaritas we had were overly sweet and didn't seem like they contained any alcohol (especially for the price of the pitcher). So I'm mostly giving 5 stars because of the awesome waiter we had Nick! Went in Saturday night with my sister and immediately loved the atmosphere. We were sat quickly (had reservations) and was granted options of inside versus outside dining. We sat inside by the bar and was immediately brought glasses of water and asked for our order. It was superrrrrr busy (a safe busy) but our waiter was prompt. We ordered these strawberry frozen drinks served in a pineapple, the street corn (eh not the best) and the chicken nachos for starters. The chicken nachos were hugeeeee and although of course not his fault the waiter apologized realizing he should've gave a heads up (not your fault nick!) we then ordered steak fajitas and shrimp fajitas. Upon our meals coming out (quite a wait, but it was busy and Nick checked in) we noticed it was 2 shrimp fajitas instead of one of them being steak, after finally getting a hold of Nick (10-15 mins later into 1 out of 2 meals being wrong)who was running around waiting other tables) he immediately rushed in a order of steak fajitas and checked in on us until it came (rather quick) he apologized over and over for the kitchens mistake and tried to make the rest of our visit more pleasurable i will def visit again and will ask for Nick! read more

My friends and I have always wanted to try this place and finally got there last night. Unfortunately we were not impressed, it just doesn't measure up to the other amazing taco/Mexican places in seaport and Boston. I want to start by saying our server was great and our complaints are really about the food. We were a party of 3 and we started out by asking for chips and salsa and when they put it down on our table we were shocked to see a tiny plate with about 10 chips and a tiny cup of salsa. The portion size is kind of ridiculous for free chips and salsa, we had to get like 4 different plates of it, why not just make the size bigger? The portions of the chips weren't the only problem, everything else we ordered was extremely small portions especially for what they're charging you. The rice beans and tacos were all pretty bland and honestly not worth it. I'm giving two stars because they do have incredible drinks, good size and delicious although we had 3 Margs each and barely felt even a little buzzed so that seems odd but I rest my case. I wouldn't recommend this place, there are other great taco places nearby that are much better. read more
