I love the coconut/mango blend! I don't love that the fruit toppings are frozen. I don't love the icy crunch when I'm expecting fresh fruits (or at least unfrozen fruits). Service at this location is great. I was taking my yogurt on the road and the sweet girl at the counter offered to pack it with a bag of ice! And it worked. Personally, I think this flavor is best paired with fresh fruits however last year my friend introduced me to the cheesecake bites and it's GAME OVER, I am IN LOVE. Ugh. The purest definition of a #BaitAndSwitch... So I head to #Pinkberry #Burbank to join them in celebrating their 10th birthday! Their email blast offer was $0.10 for a small yogurt - a great deal I thought that's until... So the family and I walk up and there are signs everywhere stating they are now self-serve - awesome I thought - however still expecting a small $.10 cup of yogurt. The family and I proceed to fill our cups - not generously just enough to quench the froyo craving that was brought about by the $.10 offering - add some toppings and are now in line to pay. Well here comes the surprise. Now instead of the ten cent cup, they are giving 5oz free. I asked why they weren't doing the small cups, they say because they are self-serve and self-serves are giving 5 free ounces and to not worry because the 5 ounces are equivalent to the small cup. Not paying any mind we begin to check out. We place our cups on the scale - 2 by 2 at the request of the cashier. He totals everything out and it's $19.30 - WTF?!?! What happened to the 5 ounces free? In this case 20 ounces. Now by this time the kids have dug into the yogurt - so what other option but to pay the total. So I pay and look at my receipt. It's confusing. I do some math and the discount they gave for each is $2.45 - that's no price of a small cup. Still the same yummy yogurt but the service is not as good as it use to be. I was confused between one super nice girl and a rude person behind the register. I couldn't tell if the girl behind the register had an issue with me or the girl serving the yogurt. Either way, not a pleasant experience when I'm just trying to have a good evening. I been such a fatty lately, after going to Buffalo Wild Wings I wanted some dessert, so convenient that Pink Berry is directly across the way! Darrel and Mario are the best employees, since I didn't know what flavor to get Mario let me sample all six flavors. =p Then because it was a toss up between blood orange and mango, Mario happily put the two flavors together even in a mini! The two flavors looked so perfect with diced fresh mango and raspberry sauce drizzled all over with one blackberry on top. Delicious! Love Pinkberry, for some reason their yogurt tastes better than other yogurt places. The one thing I dislike about this branch is they don't have sample cups out. I understand they do this because there is a lot of foot traffic and a high school nearby, but I hate asking for sample cups, this leads to me sticking to my regular yogurt and never experimenting. The fact that the milk chocolate crunch here is added at my own discretion and under my control is mind blowing, one because it's easily the best topping and two, because it's one of the elite toppings that always comes with a 50 cent extra charge. They also have a wider variety of yogurt flavors (about 10-12?) and like any self-serve frozen yogurt spot, they offer little mini cups to sample. As far as pricing, it's cheaper than any other Pinkberry as it's by weight and not a standard set price. If this review has substantiated your love for the milk chocolate crunch, then great! But if you're unfamiliar with that topping, trying it should be at the top of any foodie's (and chocolate lover's) list. read more

When we walked in the location, I did not put 2 and 2 together that this frozen yogurt would actually taste like yogurt. (if i were blond you could insert joke here...but im not;o) There were 3 flavors and I tried all of them and went with Pineapple because it was yummy. The flavor was stronger that the classic yogurt flavor in the original. The location was super clean and the employees were very nice, friendly and informative. They have a new rule where the price includes, as many toppings as you can fit on top. I went with the basic strawberries, pineapples and white chocolate shavings. NOM NOM NOM. I really didn't think I was going to enjoy this because it tasted and resembled yogurt so much...however, the fruit was fresh and delicious and the texture of the white chocolate shaving offset the texture that the frozen yogurt was leaving that reminded me of regular yogurt. I think this pinkberry is in a perfect location! it is right across from the AMC theatre while also next to all the restaurants. PERFECT for a dessert place after dinner dates with yo' man or honey. This pinkberry is very clean, and has clean yogurt trays for the machine. The cleanliness of the toppings were on point! super important just in case some people are allergic to some toppings. Great location and supper nice and friendly staff. It's one of my favorite locations in down town burbank. But the reason they get just 2 star is that the owner is supper cheap. Last night I took 6 of my girlfriends there for a nice desert. They were visiting us and it was their first time trying the pink berry. Long story short when we got there the owner was there and the first thing he did, he took away all the sample cups. So there was no way that my guest could try any flavor and choose. My main gripe with this one is that the older lady who works there, and seemingly the only employee most of the time, is truly the rudest person I have ever met in customer service. This staff is incompetent. For one, they are supposed to open at 4 pm. At 4:05, they were still locked up with the lights off. I could see inside that they were still doing prep work like putting the toppings out and such. In the grand scheme of things I understand 5 minutes isn't a huge deal. But aren't employees supposed to arrive prior to opening to ensure that such tasks are accomplished and the store is ready to open on time? It's just not a good look from a business standpoint. When they finally did open up and asked for our order. We had to repeat our order 3 times before they got it. When it was time to pay, they couldn't get the credit card to run. If you've never tried Pinkberry and you're reading this, take my advice and do yourself a favor: never ever try it. I love Pinkberry and I think it's one of the greatest things in the world to have but God damn is it addictive. The first time I had it, I was very skeptical. I thought it was something girly and well...fruity. Then I had my first bite and while I didn't hate it...I just didn't care for it. I finished my bowl and walked out very unsatisfied. I asked, "That's what you guys keep raving about?!?!", as we left. Then one the drive back...about an hour or so later the flavor kicked in. This taste of something good was so distinct and suddenly I had a craving for more. That's the moment I realized I was addicted to the stuff. My suggestion, get the pomegranate swirl with mochi balls. The pomegranate is their best flavor but mixed with the original flavor gives you the best of both worlds. The mochi balls are just a personal favorite of mine that give a nice chewy texture with sweetness to the tart "yogurt". Going with some fruit isn't a bad idea either. I personally enjoy some cap'n crunch or fruity pebbles in mine too sometimes. The thing about toppings is, it can get a bit busy so choose wisely and while getting 3 is part of the deal just know that sometimes less is more. As for this location, the place is wonderfully located in front of the theatre so guess what everyone does after a movie. This place can get pretty busy so beware of a line. However, the staff moves very quickly and are very friendly and courteous. They call me sir every time I go in...which troubles me cause I'm not that old. The longest I've ever had to wait in line was a minute or two and another couple minutes for them to make my order. read more

Good location to get fro-yo. Store is clean and they've got new flavors that rotate through as well as the tried and true plain tart flavor. I tried the caramel and sea salt yogurt with fruit toppings. The fruit was really fresh and I would recommend the caramel. It really hit the spot. The employees are nice and let us try as many of the flavors as we wanted. Pinkberry has a satisfaction guarantee which states that they'll remake your yogurt if you're not happy with it. Could not find napkins, I guess I was supposed to get those when I purchased my froyo? There aren't enough chairs inside either. It was too hot for outside seating. We dropped in to the store with 1 thing on our minds: froyo. After building our tasty versions of frozen delight, the "system" went "down". While this is an unfortunate occurrence for any functioning business, we were innocent of any inconvenience. We waited to see if we could render a sale via card as we had zero cash, but after failing to sell us our froyo, the manager refused us to have it at all, reasoning that if he gave us free yogurt he'd have to do the same to everyone else on the planet. Aside from that, 2 of their machines were not working and pushed back, like they were out of order? I asked someone about one of the machines and she said she'd go fix it, she went in the back and I never saw her again. I really love froyo and I really love Pinkberry. While there are many imitators these days and the froyo craze seems to have reached it's apex, you can always count on good ol' Pinkberry for quality and reliability. Not all fro yo places are created equal, Yogurtland and your dairy lies I am looking at you. And to be truthful of them all Red Mango is my favorite with Pinkberry coming in close second. Anyway this particular location is my favorite. Unlike most Pinkberries where they serve it to you and pick your toppings, this place is self serve. I like self serve far more than when they make it for you. I just feel less shame when I can top my yogurt off with as many toppings as I want without implicating someone into my crimes of obesity. If you have been to a pinkberry you can pretty much expect overall the same quality of the product,however this location has more choices and is self serve which is aces in my book. read more
