this is such a perfect place to sit & work or just sit and sip your coffee. I've had the bruschetta…read moretoast and it is amazing. The eggs are fluffy and I always ask for extra pesto on top as well. *chefs kiss* The ambience is very warm and welcoming every time i come in there are large groups sitting, talking, laughing and just enjoying being there. The latin latte is another favorite of mine if you want a good drink to sip on. If you wanted something tasty to go with your coffee, the blueberry muffins come from a local bakery and run out quick in the mornings for a reason! Go visit Aroma and enjoy the a-roma of this welcoming coffee shop.

The ordering online system was down so we walked in to place the order…read more We got a couple blueberry and everything bagels to eat later. Then my sister and I ordered breakfast. I got the fit bagel: egg whites, avocado, tomato, black pepper, and added turkey. Just okay. Not the most flavorful. I get that I chose something lean/healthy but it was nothing to write home about. My sister got Uova Benedetto: poached egg, prosciutto, pesto, provolone on focaccia. Decent. Also nothing to write home about. The bagels themselves were just okay. It's hard to find good bagels on the west coast but Philz honestly tasted better. Service was okay. They're friendly if you're a regular and not so much if you aren't... It's a busy place though. Kinda cramped when they're busy. So we walked to get smoothies while waiting for our food. I'd come back to try their coffee or pizza since those items seemed more highly rated. But I'm not running to come back.

BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S…read more Q) Where did you go today, Rodney? A) I decided to indulge in some silky smooth, delicious ice cream. Can't think of a better ice cream shop than Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. Q) What makes Van Leeuwen Ice Cream so special? A) Rodney, Van Leeuwen whips up French ice cream. Meaning, twice as many egg yolks as the standard ice cream. Besides the custard base, Van Leeuwen utilizes simple ingredients, including milk, cream, eggs and sugar (vegan ice cream has oats, cashews, and/or coconut). I tend to avoid "ice cream" which has a plethora of various fillers/stabilizers and what not. I prefer real ingredients. Q) Rodney, do you recommend Van Leeuwen Ice Cream? A) For sure, Rodney! And, for those unable to visit standalone locations, Van Leeuwen is available in grocery stores nationwide, such as Sprouts. With real, natural ingredients, and double the amount of egg yolks, Van Leeuwen's French ice cream is an indulgent treat that isn't composed of unwanted ingredients. Highly recommend!

Going out for ice cream is def not a cheap treat anymore…read more... I stopped by & ordered a single scoop in a cup of big face coffee affogato. Naturally, not knowing what big face coffee is..... I asked the girl what it was. She didn't know. Soooooo I sampled it and thought it was pretty good & settled on that. I don't know the caffeine amount for strength of the coffee they used in it, but I thought the flavor was very creamy. Anyways for 2 ice cream it was $22. granted the second ice cream was in a waffle cone in a cup with whipped cream. I still was shocked about $22 ice cream for 2 people. lol maybe that's just me. The place is cute and clean and sells pints and such as well. I don't see myself going out of my way to come back but it was a pleasure to try.

I scream for this handcrafted ice cream! Paradis describes their ice cream as something in between…read moretraditional ice cream and gelato. You can feel the unique texture. Their ice cream is perfectly balanced, not too hard, not too soft, with rich homemade flavors. You can truly taste the love. There's something for everyone with gluten free, vegan, and milk free options available. My favorite flavor so far is Sea Salted Caramel. Staff are knowledge about their flavors. There is no seating available here but there are some benches outside. This shop is located in Old Town Seal Beach, just minutes away from the water. The surrounding area includes restaurants, clothing boutiques, souvenir shops, finance offices, bars, and more. It can be difficult to find parking here and there are time limits during certain periods.

The perfect ice cream place for a hot summer day in Seal Beach!…read more I got the double scoop with the banana sundae and ube flavors. Both were delicious but the banana sundae was definitely my fav. The banana flavor was super fresh and strong and I also loved the mix ins that were in it. I also got to try what my sister got, the dubai chocolate strawberries. Big full size cup of fresh strawberries, melted chocolate, pistachio sauce, and katafi. Super yummy as well, surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be. It is $15 though, so a bit pricy. Service here was great, they let you try as many flavors as you'd like. This spot also has rotating flavors so there's always something new.
