Great place to come and chill to get some work done. The food is fresh and delicious along with the service. A variety of selections to choose from. On two visits i selected their salmon over an everything bagle.

For this visit I only got my go-to Caramel Machiavelli. But this place is for more than just coffee! Aroma Di Roma is my favorite cafe on 2nd street. Its great for to-go orders or sit down meals. The breakfast panini is unreal and never fails to hit the spot. But they have a vast menu no matter what you're in the mood for. I also commonly see people studying or just having a beer watching a soccer game. Last but not least the workers are always super polite and friendly. Great spot!

I come here all the time for their sexy bagel!! It's the best every time and so so good, highly recommend trying it! Everyone here is always so nice and friendly. I would say it's decently crowded whenever I go no matter the time or day and they always have soccer on!

Always love this place Great food & coffee, of course amazing people. My favorite is Cortado & Gladiator bowl!

Came here with a friend before we had to go to a food event and whatever I had was amazing. It was on their seasonal drinks list and it was so light and very unique. Good thing i read the description though because I was watching the barista making it and I noticed there was no chocolate foam on it. I asked her about it and she forgot and was super nice about. She said she can't keep track of all the seasonal drinks since they just introduced it. She was very sweet about it and apologized a lot. The drink was amazing.

    9/16/23 Oat chai latte-perfect!

9/16/23 Props to Jeff for his smashing review of ADR! I thoroughly enjoyed reading his fantastic & extensive take on a Belmont Shore favorite. Hubby & I have passed by this cafe more than a few dozen times & finally ventured in--I wanted a chai latte & a shortbread cookie. Emma took my order, she's chill & friendly, conversational. This place totally looks like a locals' hangout. It has indoor & outdoor seating. Great vibe with graffiti like art drawn on the walls, imaginative & colorful. My chai latte was delicious, it really hit the spot, I should've ordered it spiced though, perhaps next time. My shortbread cookie was simple but it's how I like it. This won't be our last visit because there are some desserts that Jeff posted that I wanna try (key lime & pumpkin!!!)

    Maple cinnamon latte

I love the industrial and graffiti vibes. They have parking in the back. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have outlets by the 2 seat tables. I got the maple cinnamon latte, which is watery down. It was $7.45 with oat milk. I agree with the other reviews that the customer service wasn't very open and more so stoned face.

This cozy neighborhood gem is the ultimate spot for a delicious breakfast. With its amazing coffee options and tasty menu featuring protein bowls and yogurt, it's definitely one of my top picks for breakfast. Outdoor seating is great for people watching

Very cute cafe in the middle of Downtown Long Beach. Their shop was very welcoming and warm inside, which was nice since it was raining. I ended up just getting an Iced Matcha. It wasn't too sweet and more on the earthy side. The workers were very friendly. Cute shop.

What kind of milk substitutes do they offer?

They for sure have oat milk, macadamia nut milk, almond milk (I've ordered those) and I think coconut and soy, but I'm not 100% sure about the soy and coconut milk.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. Check them out!

Ordered and it didn't take long at all to get it. Did they even add espresso? Who knows because the latte was weak. It barely had any hint of coffee. Maybe I should have ordered something else not sure.

I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. Perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food will definitely have me returning very soon! Parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby garage on 3rd and is a very short walk. The closer garage on Broadway is not free. You can make restaurant reservations on their website but it wasn't needed when we went.

TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

Pancakes were also very delicious with good flavor and fluffy height. The pancakes had a brown butter topping that he really liked, didn't even need syrup. Sausages didn't seem homemade but were very tasty. I ordered the Eggs Noni, which is a version of Eggs Florentine, plus a side of bacon. The Eggs Noni came on two pretty hard small sourdough discs. I had difficulty cutting through the crust with a knife. There is a lot of cayenne in their hollandaise sauce, not my favorite version. The thick slice of tomato was the highlight. Side of bacon $6 for two measly pieces - overcooked and too crunchy. I could tell the bacon would have been good if it was more on the meaty/chewy side. This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.
