While this is a fun place to go play games and bowl. overall it does not have much of a variety of video games. Mainly set up for little kids. They do have a Rockwall bumper cars and bowling to go along with the few games they have. The place is vastly understaffed and some of the games don't work and there are not any out of order signs on them. we wasted a lot of money on games that don't. My son and his wife paid over 300.00 to have my sons birthday party there. The parking took too much time and while my daughter tried to find a parking spot they would not let us in to decorate. They said my sons name was not on the reservation which is her husband and the one who paid! so the party started late. We were rushed to leave the room after we were not let into our room on time. I'm a teacher's aid for an 18+ special needs classroom. We purchased a package for our class to enjoy lunch, bowling, games and attractions. Food was awesome, everybody got their fill and then some of some tasty chicken tenders and fries. We had a gentleman waiting on us named Christian who was absolutely amazing-- great with our students, incredibly helpful and wonderfully courteous. We all had a fun time playing for hours, and everyone running the attractions and bar/food area was super friendly and patient. Only gripe was the games; a lot of the arcade cabinets weren't on or they took our credits and did nothing. 1st visit wasn't great. The staff registering to bowl wasn't very helpful. The young man at the desk plugged in my phone number wrong. 40 minutes later, I asked where I was on the list. The young man said he texted me twice. I asked him what number he used and he gave me a wrong number. Then he said that was the number I gave him. Next, I asked to bowl for 2 hours and he said I could only bowl for 1 hour because my lane already had an upcoming reservation. Once I challenged him, he changed me to another lane but tried to charge me for shoes even though I told him we had shoes. Next I went to the bar where I was greeted with a sarcastic "Yes", not Hello or how can I help you. Afterwards, my girls ordered shakes but had to wait 10 minutes for the manager to approve our military discount. Once approved, the server had to refill the shake machine but somehow the shake machine stopped working. 1 hour and twenty minutes later we were given our shakes and told that we would be credited but they never happened. Before leaving, I tried to close my tab for the beer but after waiting more than 5 minutes without even a hello, I left. The establishment is very nice and clean but the staff needs some customer service training. This place is great if you're not the one paying haha Place is on the higher end side but it's fun. They have number cars, laser tag, bunch of games, full bar and kitchen. The staff was really great and attentive. Janai and Kerne was amazing to our party. We had drinks, desserts, chicken sliders, tacos and chips with salsa. The games on the other hand are on the higher end side, there's no 50 cent games here. The prizes are nice but you need to work hard on those tickets. I hosted a party here for my kids 11th birthday and although we did have a blast and the host was nice, even the manager extended my room time. It's just not worth the party package. To only have the room for 45 min is very rushed. I felt rushed to eat , to sing happy birthday and when it was time . The room was crowded with like 10 people that worked there to get ready for the next party, all of the kids goodie bags were thrown away , our left over food was thrown out , even after telling the host I wanted to keep any food , the package came with unlimited drinks but we got no refills . The arcade gaming system is very confusing as well . My kids had the blue games unlimited for 2 hours but points was needed for all other games . It's more of the other color games than the blue that's included. The price is not worth it. It's a fun place for a family outing but for birthdays the setup is very poorly thought out. read more

I really don't like leaving negative reviews but this place needs a lot of work. The facility is beautiful and new and there are so many activities to do! Unfortunately, the people who work there are either over-utilized or just don't care about providing good customer service. I've been twice and my first visit was so bad I said I wouldn't return but I decided to give it another chance a few months later to see if things had improved. They have not. First time I went was late at night and there were very few people in the restaurant area. It still took over 20 minutes to even give our order and then had to track someone down just to pay after we ate. We could have walked out on the bill and I doubt anyone would have even noticed. Second visit was today during the day. Same type of service. I get it that places are short staffed, but this place takes the cake on poor service. I had such high hopes for pinstack and unfortunately after several meals and poor customer service interactions we will not be frequenting pinstack as much as I had hoped. We came for Father's Day and had the special tomahawk. Which was good. The kids liked their food. But since there is one kitchen servicing the bar, bowling and restaurant our food took a really really long time. Our server was super nice though. But for such a lovely building and atmosphere the service is lack luster. Our next visit we sat for 20 minutes before anyone came to check on us for drinks. Our food was just ok, kind of under whelming and our order was incorrect. We even enrolled in the premium membership account, which still has not been added to our account. My husband got feedback from the GM to contact corporate (as the local store was unable to remediate). That proved to be unproductive as he still never got any feedback after working through the channel. If we come back it will be for the early bird bowling. The games are ok, but they are also starting to show wear and tear. But a good option for entertaining kiddos or adults in AC. Sadly with each visit it has been a worse experience each time. My adventures at Pinstack was pretty cool. I went to go and have some drinks. I enjoyed bowling, it's been a while. I had two big mugs of Ultras. They have rope climbing but I did not partake in that. After bowling we went to the arcade and it was cool. I got addicted to Willy Wonka coin game. Man... For being out of towners... This was a great random pick. We ate lunch here and the food was amazing. Waiter was very cordial. I will say that the game room was very interesting. If you play games for tickets to buy things, be prepared to spend a fortune. If you go to just enjoy wha t they have for an hour or two... Which is what we did... It will be fun. We spent $75 on a points card for 2 adults and 3 kids. We had a blast for 2 hours. You can't split the points into different cards ( bummer), you just have to get them all on one card and share. Not a big deal for our family. Good for a rainy day or any day really. Kid for friendly, safe environment, and just overall chill. Pinstack is a new bowling amusement place that has made its way to San Antonio. It's a nice set up with an arcade area that includes games where you can win tickets for prizes, two bar areas where you can get top shelf drinks or a cold draft beer, snacks with huge milkshakes and two areas where you can bowl with friends and family. It's pretty clean. The food smelt amazing and very large orders of pizza. The picture shows an advertisement on the screen for a 36" pizza and it looks good. The prices are on the high end for something you can get cheaper elsewhere but your paying for the experience. We got the VIP area where you can bowl with a big group and have your own server come to you to take your food/drink orders. It was $50/hr per lane and for the same experience you can grab a lane in the general area for cheaper. Before noon the price in the general area was $10/hr per lane. Was a little disappointed with there being a big price difference between the two areas to bowl at but the experience was not any different. The servers were friendly and so were the people working the desks however, there was nothing that set the service apart from any other amusement area. Pinstack is a must try experience but if I am going to go bowl with friends, I'll probably go to a cheaper location since Pinstack's high end experience is really average compared to other amusement places. My kids had been begging to check out Pinstack, so I made reservations online for bowling. We arrived right at opening, so I don't think I really needed the reservations. For evening or night bowling I would definitely book ahead. Pinstack has all kinds of stuff to do: bumper cars, VR, arcade games, ropes course, laser tag, and bowling. What I really like is that the kids can just use points for everything (minus bowling), which means I don't have to separately figure out VR, bumper cars etc. They can just do it all from the card. The place is super clean and well spread out. I never felt like there were too many people crowded together. There is also a large dining area for lunch/dinner. The bowling has drink and food service, with specials on appetizers certain nights of the week. The margarita I ordered was great. I tried to take pictures of the pricing because it definitely varies on the date and time you go. The service was very friendly and I never had trouble finding help with the rides. I prefer Pinstack to the other places that I have gone to in town. It just seems easier to navigate, and the kids loved it. read more

We booked a VIP lane and the service was horrible for the price we paid. We arrived 745pm 15 mins early like the email stated. We went to check in for the attendant to tell us to come back closer to 8pm. We returned to the counter a little after 8pm checked in and were assigned a lane. When we arrived to our lane the area was a mess. There was trash and food leftover from the previous party. We sat an waited about 10 mins for someone to come clean the area no one showed up. I went to the front counter asked for a manager and explained what was going on. The manager told me he would take care of it no one ever came. We ended up cleaning our own VIP area so we could just start our game. We started our bowling and wanted to order drinks but there was no waitress. Waited and pushed the service button workers would come in and turn the call button off. I went again and spoke with the manager again said he would take care of it 10 mins later we finally got a waitress to take our order. We bowled an entire game about 40 mins before a drinks arrived. We ended up going to the bar and got our own drinks before the one we ordered for the waitress arrived . We also ordered apps which didn't arrive until we were done bowling and ended up sending them back. The entire party was just fed up and ready to go. We complained several times to different supposedly managers and nothing was ever done. All in all the experience was horrible not even worth 1 star. Pinstack is far cheaper than Bowlero, and has so much to do, even more than Main Event. We rented bowling lanes for a team building event and overall it was a success. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only complaint I might have was that the service was extremely slow considering it is a newer establishment, with that being said the staff did apologize and explained some of their management did not arrive to work that day. Hopefully next time around they will be properly staffed, but with all of the factors involved I would definitely recommend going there. read more
