i am deathly afraid of the dentist. i had a traumatic root canal experience 10 years ago at a different dental office that left my mouth completed bruised with cuts on my gums. so when my teeth started to ache, i was nervous to have to find a dentist. but i am so glad to have been recommended to come to broadway dental. both dr john and dr jimmy are such great dentists! they understood that i had a traumatic experience in the past and was constantly checking to see if i was okay while doing a root canal. they constantly checked in with me as well after my dental work to see if i was okay. you can tell that both dr jimmy and dr john really care about their patients and their work. i'm so happy to have found a dental office that i can keep coming back to. read more

This dentist does not seem see the wisdom in preserving her patients' natural teeth. She wanted to give me five crowns - I felt very uncomfortable with her plan and got a second opinion. I ended up with two fillings and a much lower bill. They also charged me $35 to email the x-rays that they took to me. This is not industry standard. Most dentists will email you your x-rays without charge. The whole place just seems to be designed to get as much money out of the patients as possible with little regard for their best dental outcomes. read more

They helped figure out my insurance, got me in for an appointment, explained everything to me, including billing and already did my new filling. "been in practice for over 22 years and in the same location for over 15 years" That is apparent when your office and equipment is outdated. You maybe able to convince people to submit 4/4 star reviews with newly created yelp accounts, but its obvious from the reviews your practice is hit or miss. Majority of your positive reviews come from yelp users with less than 3 reviews submitted. Majority of your poor reviews you received were folks worth 10+ reviews (actual yelp reviewers) Yelp users beware... the reviews are not accurate. The major concern is the correct assessment, I had 2 second/third opinions after their initial diagnosis. Both professional practices did not agree with Broadway dental's assessment. It is just a valid concern that led me to write multiple reviews about your dishonest and sales driven business organization. read more

I wish I could give no stars. The doctors at this place probably have completely forgotten their Hioppocratic Oath - help the patient first, no matter what and do no harm. Husband went it with horrible toothache, the doctor took the x-rays and said he needed root canals done. Decided he would later need 3-4 crowns, quoted $4000 and refused to request an authorization for my husband to treat the tooth first with the endodontist until he pays for the services and materials that haven't even been renedered yet. When questioned, their response was 'it's our policy'. Right, policy of a business entity with no compassion, patient care, bedside manners or any trace of medical care. Horrible place. Switched the doctor immediately and couldn't be happier. Stay away, it's a rip off place. read more

Had a few good experiences with Dr. Sadeghi although I always felt like the services were more intensive than what I needed ( a deep cleaning vs. regular, a root canal for an old filling that upon a second opinion was replaced without needing a root canal). The final straw was when she hired a second dentist who on two occasions worked on my teeth. I was sore and had hot/cold sensitivity for weeks after these fillings so I decided to have Dr. Sadeghi re-examine my fillings. She told me that everything looked good and to come back if I continued to experience discomfort. I knew something was very wrong with these fillings and went to another dentist to have this checked out, he found that both fillings were improperly set and bacteria was seeping into the holes she drilled in my teeth (which were also drilled too deep). That was it for me. She's a decent dentist but seems more concerned with upsells and money than quality patient care. Go elsewhere. read more

I hate and fear going to the dentist... because of that fear I neglected my teeth for so long.. I payed the price 2 days ago when I woke up at 2 am in severe and excruciating pain...I was desperate and did now who to call or what to do... I googled dentist in Glendale ca open 800am..all other dentist open late that day..i came across Broadway Dental.. the best decision I made... the receptionists are super friendly and professional Miriam took my insurance information over the phone and scheduled me right away...she explained and help with all financial options and really put my mind at ease... Dr. Dang is amazing! What I like about him was his honesty and professionalism.. he explained the process step by step... I was expecting the worst pain during my procedure ... I had extensive surgery that day! That's how bad my problem was.... I didn't feel any pain what so ever!... Dr. Dang is the type of professional that gains your trust, likes to have a conversation with you, he wants to get to know his patients, he's very gentle and caring.. Before I knew it, he was done in no time... before I left the receptionist had my prescription, post op instructions ready.. and my excuse note for work...awesome! I left picked up my medication from pharmacy... I got home... to my surprise I received a message on my cell... it was Dr. Dang checking up on me... asking me how i was doing! Who does that!.. By far the worst dental experience I have ever been to. On arriving Dr Sadeghi was at the receptionist desk and was on the phone for more then 5 minutes without acknowledging me while the rest of the people working where talking. Once I was seen by Dr Sadeghi I was constantly pitched expensive unnecessary treatments. She continued to tell me I had to spend thousands of dollars. Visited this dental practice once in 2007. I recall that I left the office even without seeing the doctor. They insisted I take full moth x-rays whereas I had some specific problem with the specific tooth. I suggested to do one or two x-rays of the area, they did not budge. Just waisted my time here. hahahaaha! this place is a joke. i hadnt been to the dentist in a couple of years, so my mom suggested i come here for my first time back on the dental scene. "shes really nice and everyone that works there is very sweet!" okay, fine mom. ill go. when i got there, they spent half an hour trying to sell me stuff. invisalign, whitening, veneers, etc. the hygenists must make commission or something! i never felt so weird and pressured. i mean, a dentist is a doctor, and arent they suposed to make you feel comfortable? not all weird and pressured. they did all the exams and whatnot, and the hygenist told me that i had ONE cavity but otherwise my teeth and gums were in great shape. ha! she was right about to start the cleaning when i mentioned that it had been 2 years sonce my last dental visit. all of the sudden she stopped what she was doing and went and got the real dentist. apparently, now i needed some sort of deep root planing or scaling or something weird. it was going to be about 200 dollars more than the cleaning. i asked why i needed the special procedure and she said because it had been so long. so i asked, "then why were you going to just give me a cleaning? you didnt decide to do this procedure until i told you that i hadnt been to a dentist in 2 years. theres nothing wrong with my teeth, you said it yourself. give me the goddamn cleaning". (ok i didnt use those exact words..) but they wouldnt even give me the cleaning!! they said they couldnt. because of the circumstances. read more

I've been a patient at this office for at least 10 years now since I used to live in the Los Angeles area. Originally a patient via my parent's insurance plan. Once I began working, I was fortunate enough to be able to choose Broadway Dental as my provider. My parents have since been forced to switch dentists because of new strict insurance coverage from their employers . . . but boy do they miss Broadway Dental. I've had nothing but great experiences at this office (as good as a dental visit can go). Prior to visiting this dental office...I hated going to the dentist with a passion. The idea of having my teeth scraped, drilled, buffed and polished just never made me an avid fan of dentistry. Admittedly . . . my dental hygiene was par for the course at best prior to becoming a patient at this office (and that's being generous). With that said . . . I've had the unappealing silver fillings of my youth replaced over the years at Brodway Dental with the more cosmetic composite "white" fillings. I've overcome the dreaded gingivitis utilitizing techniques that I've learned from the excellent and ever vigilant staff in this office. Who would've thought? Floss? It works! If not for this office . . . I'd probably have more fillings than teeth...and bleeding gums to match. I've stopped smoking because they'd always give me a hard time about it and the effects it had on my "grill." I've had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed (and just a shade under a decade after I should've). More recently I've entrusted my invisalign needs to Dr. Sadeghi and the staff in the office at Broadway Dental. Dental services are not free...trust me...I know. However, the price structure at this office seems to reflect the current market and I don't feel that I'm being "pitched" anything at this office other than quality health care services for my teeth. You either accept additional services or don't. I love that they present the option. I can honestly say that this office is AWESOME. The customer service at Broadway Dental is the main reason I've not switched providers. The receptionists are always on point, the dental providers are proactive, and everyone is friendly and professional. It seems as it's all very streamlined at this office. I even recieve text alert reminders for my appointments from their office! Who does that? Broadway Dental does...that's who! I've shown up a week early for an appointment due to a brain fart, and was treated anyway! I've been in the area and phoned in to see if my appointment could be bumped up if there were any cancellations...and if it is possible my request is granted! I feel that Gina the receptionist goes above and beyond to try to accomodate her patients. I really appreciate the entire staff as they always seem to be in such a great mood and provide an excellent atmosphere. The entire office seems to exude good vibes and positive energy. This office has totally changed my perception on dental visits. I live in Chino Hills, CA and drive all the way to Glendale because I don't feel the relationship I have with this office can be replicated anywhere else. And I hate driving anywhere west of the 605...so that's saying something. I really appreciated all they've done for the benefit of my teeth. 5 stars all the way! read more

My daughters were coming here for years. Dr. Sadeghi did some work on me as well as Dr. Kim .. We had not visited for a while and when I finally did go I did not appreciate the rudeness of Tracy. Also, prices have gone up immensely and she kept putting down the staff that was there prior. In which was very unprofessional. I ended up walking out of there close to a $900 bill .. Which is ridiculous for the services rendered. Tina though is part of the old staff as she's wonderful .. 3 stars for her and Dr. Kim ... First of all, I'll start by stating I rarely leave reviews. I feel that I don't really believe people's opinions on topics that are probably skewed one way or another anyway. But, my experience with Broadway Dental made me step away from my norm. The office is well lit and very clean. The staff is very welcoming and has great customer service. I'm not the most comfortable dental patient. Something about having someone's hands in my mouth doesn't fly with me. My first visit a couple months ago, was my first visit to the dentist in a very long time. I ended up requiring a deep cleaning. Which made me extremely nervous. Then I met Lina. She is a very calming human being, has a positive demeanor and is super knowledgable. Her attitude helped me become as comfortable as I can be. Which is not an easy task and very impressive. The procedure was painless. She took her time and made sure to ask if I needed a break. Today, I went back for a follow up and was greeted by the same pleasant staff and an enthusiastic Hygenesist. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff for making me comfortable and to Lina especially. You're good at what you do girl. It's good to see someone who takes pride in what they do. My initial appointment went well, and I appreciated the time the dentist took with me to give me advise on dental care. Cracked my molar after biting down on something hard and immediately starting having pain that was radiating. Panicked, I tried calling a few dental offices and asked for recommendations from friends and all the offices I called told me that I would have to wait at least week to be seen. It was getting close to closing time and I began to become more anxious until I finally reached Dr. Jimmy Dang at Broadway Dental and to my relief, he was able to get me for a temporary fix the next morning which stopped the pain immediately. Unfortunately the damage was too much to fix so I eventually came back for a root canal and crown placement. Dr. Dang was very thorough on the process and kept me updated through each step. He knew what I was concerned about and focused only than that. He was also flexible with scheduling due to my work schedule which is a huge plus. I have been to multiple dentists in the past who try to up sale you other procedures but here they are up front with you and do not pressure you anything unnecessary. They listen to you and take your considerations to heart. I would definitely recommend Broadway Dental and Dr. Dang to anyone looking for a solid dentist they can count on. read more

I went to Broadway Dental as I was unable to continue going to the dentist that I had been seeing for the past 9 years due to a change in insurance. The staff was very professional and even though I had forgotten to register them as my dentist, they were very kind and sat on hold with me for and my insurance for 40 minutes to be sure that my cleaning was covered. They mentioned that I needed a deep cleaning, but it was a little too costly to perform at the time. They were very up front about costs (which seemed a little high, but it's probably what my insurance will/will not cover/the type of work and not them) and I'll be sure to go back to them. What really stood out to me about this dental office was how Dr. Kim and the dental assistants made sure I was comfortable for the procedures I had and how gentle their touch remained throughout them. I had to get 2 root canals and I was pretty scared. I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but during my visit here they really made it as painless as possible. I came back for a dental cleaning last month and the hygienist was also very thorough during the examination and warned me about a deep pocket I had, which I had not been aware of. About two months ago I came for a teeth whitening treatment, which was on special. Since then I loved their service and that's why I decided to get a dental cleaning and treat for my tmj. My dental cleaning was painless and dental staff member who did it was very sweet. Dr. Pira Sadehi has been treating me for my tmj, prior to start treatment I was suffeing from strong headaches and neck pain. Now, over a month after starting treatment I am almost pain free. She is extremely knowledgeable, who specializes on treating TMJ. What I love the most is that she also takes her time to educate me on how my muscles work and affect my jaw joints. She has a lotnof patience when encourages me to continue wearing me ortho-appliance and discuss my care plan. In the past I had other dentists who treated me for tmj, who failed to help me to improve this condition. I visited this facility through my dental insurance; first impression was good, the clinic is clean and well kept and the stuff were super nice so that I was convenced to make it my preferred dental clinic. So many things changed my mind; first the dentist refused to do just a cavity fill, she recommended to have dip dental clinic and redo two or 3 crowns one of which was done two years ago. At first I agreed but after the deep cleaning I had a change of mind due to the following; all the work needs to be prepaid in advance, I even agree to that by paying half of the total estimate but didn't like the fact that Maria the person in charged of the financing did not explain cost for each procedure, did not give me copies of papers I signed, she gave me a copy of charges only because I asked for it otherwise she was just going to give copy of the total paid so to me everything was very unprofessional. So I canceled the cervices and requested a refund minus the fee for the dip dental cleaning. It took more than a month and had to place dispute through my credit card provider in order to get my money back because they just gave me the run around meantime I'm paying interest on that money. One lesson I learned out of this, NEVER AGREE TO PREPAY SERVICES and request for copies of each document I sign. Good luck to all of you. read more

Very quick - in just a 1 1/2 hour session, I had full x-rays, cleaning, and two cavities filled. Very nice staff, from the front office, to the nurse and doctor. I especially liked the digital x-rays that pop right up on the computer. I never thought you could do x-rays in 5 minutes. read more
