Great food, cheery service and atmosphere. This was formerly a different restaurant, I had no idea it was open until I was looking for a restaurant nearby. The ceviche was good, I prefer the fish to be more firm. The octopus was also good. The best was the Saltados. I ordered it with chicken and white rice. The seasonings, gravy, fries, chicken.... Our new favourite restaurant in Atl! We tried Pisco this past Friday. The service was incredible as was the food and drinks. We had the traditional ceviche with plantain chips; chicken chaufa; and steak churrasco. For drinks we had the Texan margarita. This place is top notch! The portions are huge! Pisco latin kitchen has been a great new addition to the Sandy Springs area. It's mostly a Peruvian restaurant with a few menu items that are from Cuba/ Puerto Rico. They are Located in the Hammond springs shopping center with plenty of parking. It's a couple doors down from the shop and anchor pub. They have plenty of free parking. It's a great date night spot for dinner, as well as very accommodating for groups we noticed. Candle light white cloth ambience but didn't feel stuffy at all. We sat at the bar and had decent service. We ordered the tradicional ceviche, it was good just a bit more citrusy than I'm used to for Peruvian ceviche. The lomo saltado was fantastic and very authentic. It came over sautéed onions, fries and the option of white or yellow rice and fried plantains that were delicious. We also ordered the fettuccine verde, which is basically a Peruvian pesto sauce over pasta and Parmesan cheese, and you get to choose either chicken steak or shrimp as the protein if you wish. The food is pretty good. My lower review is due to the fact that I requested the spicy green sauce multiple times throughout my uber eats order only for them to forget. I even called them to remind them as they were prepping my food and the gentlemen that answered the phone assured me they would add it. This is probably the third time this has happened which is super irritating as it is like serving a burger without ketchup. Very frustrating when I spent over $100 in food. I travel to Atlanta on a regular basis and decided to try Pisco for the 2nd time. Just like my first visit, I was impressed. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Paella which was one of the best I have ever had and was enough to share. We sat at the bar and met the owner, Joseph, who has a passion for food and was a pleasure to speak with. I watched make a margarita from scratch, fresh limes, oranges, and good tequila enough to make your mouth water. I will definitely be back and plan to be a regular when visiting Atlanta. I can't remember the name of what I had, though it was the pork and onion dish and it's listed in my photos. It was very flavorful, quite delicious. The potatoes with aioli - again blanking on the name due to food coma - were tasty. I had a drink, I think it was called coco loco, which definitely would've been at home next to a beach chair. The fried yuca was good, but I wound up asking for aioli for the side after being a little underwhelmed by the sauce that came with it. I had a bite of the...gosh I wish I had a menu here because I am just not able to remember these dish names due to having eaten too much. Anyways the "Cuban National dish" - something vieja. Kind of a shredded steak in a semi-spicy tomato sauce, which I liked but not as much as my order. No complaints, overall a very good experience. read more

Whenever I'm in the area I usually stop by here for a take out order of their delicious ceviche! This time I decided to grab a seat at the bar for a tasty passion fruit mojito and the pan seared grouper. Everything was delicious! And the servers are always so pleasant. Not really a Peruvian restaurant which is disappointing. More of a Latin hodgepodge. Although the name doesn't say it's a Peruvian restaurant, some of the reviews called it that which is confusing. For a truly Peruvian restaurant which has all the Peruvian dishes, unfortunately one has to drive all the way to The Freakin Incan. I wish a Peruvian restaurant would come to Sandy Springs. Lamentations aside, Pisco does serve a great ceviche. If that's all you're looking for, this would be a good place for that. read more

I found out about this place from an article (don't remember from where) but I knew I had to take the family here because I have been trying to find a good Peruvian place with Japanese flavors like we found in Miami. My favorite Peruvian places span between the rotisserie chicken spots to these Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese fusion) spots. Well this places falls in the latter category. When we got there they had the ceviche section of the menu (about 4 or so options) and then they had the stir-fry options along with other entrées, appetizers, and sandwiches. They do have Cuban style plates like Churrasco and Palomilla steak for those who want to eat familiar options. One of my kids had the Palomilla and they said it was great. My wife had the Lechon Asado which she raved about. I had the Chaufa, a Peruvian style fried rice with vegetables and a protein of choice (Steak for me please). The portion was very generous and I was full most of the rest of the day. But I would go back for this dish every time, what great flavors. The other child wanted to be adventurous and try something new so they had the Ceviche Traditional. I'm not a Ceviche person, but they ate it up. I forgot about the appetizers...Patatas Bravas, really good but I wish there was more. Tostones Rellenos, really, really good and be careful cause these can fill you up before the main dishes arrive. And the sides Yuca Fries (fantastic since they seemed to be freshly made) and Garlic Yuca Mash which we ended up bring home because we were full, but did sample and thought it was a great side dish. And we will be back to this place even though it is a bit far for us. Service was great for us and the food came out relatively quickly, we were barely fished with our appetizers when the main dishes arrived. We debated about things to order but decided we would wait until next time. They have paellas and other stir fry dishes like a Saltado. But there's always the next visit. read more

Delicious! Lechón asado plate had a huge portion of nicely marinated pork, also came with maduros, white rice and black beans. Rice was cooked perfectly- great texture and black beans had a nice flavor. Lomo saltado with the traditional steak - so good!
