I had a really great experience here the other day! It was a Saturday around lunch time, and the restaurant was pretty empty. I really loved the Mediterranean themed decor inside. Antonio was very helpful and suggested the Shawarma bowl. It was incredible!! 10/10! Large portion, and excellent tasting food. Unfortunately they only have one location and it's pretty far north, but if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back!

We were in the area and stopped here for lunch. The menu offers all your Mediterranean favorites and also has a kid's menu for those dining with little ones. I got a bowl of the lentil soup and the vegetarian platter. The lentil soup was a very generous serving in a huge bowl. It was really good I'd get it again. The vegetarian platter comes with hummus, grape leaves, falafel, pita bread and tzatziki sauce. The grape leaves and falafel tasted alright and the pita bread was the thicker doughier type. I absolutely loved the tzatziki sauce with the shredded cucumber in it. The hummus was just a tad more watery than other versions I've had at restaurants but was also decent. Service was exceptional and the young man behind the counter was very friendly and nice. There is outdoor and indoor seating. There is a single TV in the corner and it was playing a football game when we were here. Tbh having the TV there was irritating to me because the kiddo turned into a screen zombie instead of eating her meal despite being told multiple times to focus on her food so if I eat here again and the weather is nice I would opt to eat outside.

Finally found the best bowl! Santini sunset with chicken. So much food! Kids run the joint are so nice. This is our fav Greek place in Scottsdale....

Ordered a spicy gyro and received a pita full of veggies with absolutely zero gyro meat on it. The chicken kabob platter has absolutely no seasoning. Not even salt. This is the worst Greek food I've ever had, it's so bad. So much for trying a new place, save your money

Fast, friendly, and good prices, this is a great place for a healthy quick eat. I love going around trying different restaurants' gyro pita and this is a good sandwich. Just note that if you are an onion lover like me, they don't put a whole lot on and charge $.50 for extra. Still a good sandwich and the right amount of tzatziki sauce.

I've been craving another pita since my visit here! I needed a quick lunch and this was the perfect spot for just that. Pita cafe is pretty simple when it comes to decor and atmosphere, but the food is packed with flavor! This is a family owned business with multiple generations working. The love and care for the business, culture, and food did not go unnoticed. I ordered the spicy pita with chicken. It's complete with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, pepper, jalapenos, feta, and spicy tzatziki sauce. The pita was warm and everything tasted so fresh!!! It really blows all the pita chains out of the water in terms of flavor and freshness of ingredients. I got a slice of baklava on the side because #treatyoself and it was super delicious too! The only downside was that it was kept in the fridge, so it was a bit hard to cut. Can't wait to come back to Pita Cafe next time I'm in town and try more items on the menu!

This popped up as a hot restaurant to order from in Uber eats so decided to try it. It did taste good & we enjoyed the food there. Here is my take on different parameters: Food: Good taste especially the spicy gyros wrap, however, my wife's chicken shawarma wrap meat was not the most flavorful we have ever tried. Also, they loaded up a lot of sauce making the wrap very soggy when it arrived to us. With this experience I would give the food a 3/5 rating Ambiance: We did home delivery so unable to comment on this category for this time but will update my review in case we visit the restaurant sometime in the future. Price: It is definitely a little above average range since both of the wraps were $10+. I know many Mediterranean restaurants on my tips where it cost at least $2-3 cheaper. Service: We did home delivery so unable to comment on this category for this time but will update my review in case we visit the restaurant sometime in the future. Overall take: I would recommend trying the spicy wraps that are really cranked up in heat and kind of unique taste.

What an amazing family owned spot! We eat here at least 4 days a week for lunch. They have a burger bar next door, so you can get the best of either world! They have the best fries. But you can also be as healthy as you want. When I was on my macro diet, I used to eat chicken and grilled veggies. Now that I'm not, I eat the spicy pita and fries. Both amazing! Love love love this place!

This was my first time dining in, and I decided to bring my mom while she was visiting me. Overall, it turned into a wonderful experience, but it did start off on the wrong foot. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's right along the Scottsdale Canal, and the atmosphere is inviting from the moment you walk in. I especially loved the open kitchen concept. Watching the team prepare drinks and food while working together so seamlessly added to the experience. You can tell everyone works as a team because multiple employees helped deliver our food and picked up our empty plates instead of leaving everything to one server. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the hostess left us feeling uncomfortable. We arrived before the dining room opened at 11:00, and she invited us to sit and wait, which was perfectly fine. However, as other guests began arriving, I noticed she was asking everyone else for their names while adding them to the waitlist. She never asked for mine. Instead, after three parties were seated before us, I politely asked why we had been skipped. Her response was that she had "grabbed my description" instead of my name. That honestly didn't sit well with me. Being identified by my appearance instead of simply being asked for my name felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially when everyone else was asked for theirs. We were also initially placed at a table tucked into a corner by the entrance, where there was a lot of traffic coming in and out. After I spoke up, another hostess immediately apologized and happily moved us to a much more comfortable booth, which I appreciated. Thankfully, everything changed once our server, Gustavo, introduced himself. He completely turned the experience around. He welcomed us warmly and explained the menu in detail. When I mentioned I needed a moment to translate for my mom, he immediately smiled and switched to Spanish. Seeing my mom's face light up because she could comfortably ask questions and understand everything made our lunch even more special. His hospitality was genuine, thoughtful, and exactly what great service should be. The food absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered three bruschettas the mozzarella, avocado, and strawberry goat cheese and every single one was delicious. The artichoke dip was my favorite. For our entrée, we shared the salmon, and I loved that the kitchen plated it already divided for us without us even asking. It's a small detail, but one that showed attention to the guest experience. The surprise standout was the soup of the day and that was the lentil soup. It was honestly the best lentil soup either of us has had! My mom mentioned how good the coffee was three different times, so you know it was good! On the drinks side, I asked Gustavo for his recommendation, and he suggested the watermelon sangria. After trying one, I immediately ordered a second. That's how good it was! It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best sangrias I've had. Even the little details stood out. The restaurant was spotless, the restrooms were well maintained, and the quality throughout the space reflected the care they put into the entire experience. Despite the frustrating start with the hostess, Olive and Ivy won us over because of the incredible food, outstanding service from Gustavo, and the beautiful atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back, and next time I'll be looking forward to the meal just as much as that watermelon sangria! "Gracias Gustavo"

Every detail you notice is extravagant and purposeful. Visiting on a Saturday for lunch, there were plenty of other families eating together too. I noticed the crowd was mostly older, which lets you know this restaurant is a true staple in the community (I find that usually the old people know what's up). As all 4 of us weren't super hungry, we split the Persian Room Special- Combination of barg (Filet mignon), chicken filet and Koobideh kebab, served with basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was a huge portion of food, served on a large silver platter. The menu states that it serves 2, but it perfectly filled us 4 adults! Granted, we weren't super hungry to begin with, but 2 is definitely an underestimate. I'd say it can easily satisfy 3 hungry adults. Anyway, quantity aside, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. The meat was also juicy. My favorite was the koobideh kebab for sure. There isn't much more I can say, as the food speaks for itself. The Persian Room is definitely something you need to try for yourself. Weeks later, I'm still craving it and will definitely be back!
