I got their vegetarian plate and LOVED IT. The staff were very nice in explaining the way to choose the items. Potatoes were delicious, all the salads I tried were delicious, and the hummus and pita were fresh. I wasn't expecting much because vegetarian food is often bland, but my whole meal was packed with flavor. Yum. read more

I ordered shish kabab pita sandwich, I got it cold like the pita bread still cold from the fridge!! the inside is cold meat it's not a fresh it's already cooked while ago they heat it up only, some tomato, onion and that's it, I mean overall its clean place, organize, but Also they should call customer and tell them what they want inside the sandwich not shovel it like that, some people they don't eat onions or tomato! As far as quick and easy lunches go you can't get any better than this!!! I'm eating healthy and went to try the Mexican place next door. I stopped in to see what Pita Grill as all about and I'm glad I did! They have an amazing selection of vegetables. My lunch date and I split the vegetable plate with 5 choices and the chicken kabob plate. It was all very good. Before I left I picked up a piece of baklava fresh from the oven. So delightful. I was so happy to have found this place re-opened. I used to visit the Irvine location a lot (at least once a week). I always get their veggie plate and they always have a good variety of freshly made veggie dishes to choose from. They make the best musaka and I can't find it anywhere else (in Orange County). The kale salad is also really good! Can't really go wrong with any of their dishes. Will continue to add this place to my weekly lunch runs! read more

Had an awesome experience for a late lunch here today! The two guys working were just fabulous, so knowledgeable about the food, even let us sample the tabouleh salad. For me, that one dish is always a hit or miss thing - and let me tell you, this place knocks it out of the park!! I got the falafel plate and my friend got the mixed plate. We literally could not stop eating. The meats on his plate were flavorful, juicy, tender. The falafel balls were the perfect combination of spices and cooked to a crisp outside and wonderfully soft inside. The hummus that accompanied the falafel was average, good but nothing too exciting. I was a little disappointed that they were out of grape leaves. We will absolutely be back - and will be spreading the word too!!! read more

I can say I am a fan of Pita Grill. There portions are good and the prices are fair. I've ordered a couple plates in the past and they pack it with meat which is awesome. There's really nothing too much to say about this place but the food is tasty and is prepared in front of you so you can see how everything is being prepared. For first timers, I would recommend either coming a little earlier on your lunch break or even call in for take out since it can get a little crowded during lunch rush. read more

A solid 3. Honestly not bad. When you want Arab food but your too lazy to cook your own, this place does a good job at suppressing the craving. Likes: chicken shawarma had good flavor, you can sub rice for salad, garlic paste is okay (zankou's is better) and the mousaa (eggplant and garbanzos in tomato) really good. Dislikes: the booth I sat at has a vent that blows hot air at you. There was no other seating so I had no choice...plastic everywhere. They have an area to sit in; hello plates? My food had 8 one use plastics that honestly, unnecessary. They should take note from urban plate and use ceramic plates and silverware, get with 2018! They were skimpy on the shawarma & though it had flavor it sided on the drier side...it's like a little cute cup size and I've been to places that honestly give more & for the love of Allah cook your pita! Pita is not suppose to be cold!!!!!....& the female staff like didn't acknowledge me. I get some people just don't like others, but when you say bye to one person, you gotta say bye to them all. I'm not from around here so I looked around. And found that the Food was a basic blah. Rice had no flavor and was recommended lol. Great customer service though. Radio is blaring at 10:30 when I walked in and still kind of is. Ordered my food and I was told it would take 15 mins to cook. I Understood because they cook the meat fresh. But took longer then 15 mins. I ordered the mixed grill plate with rice -15.77 thought well it must be great. Lol. Part of the steak and chicken plate you also get what looks like steak but turns out to be ground beef :/ like if I wanted meatloaf I would have made it lol. Good schwarma, extremely slow. I probably won't go unless I'm willing to wait or call ahead. Nothing I would really rave about, but if I'm craving schwarma, theirs is good and tender. Had a quick dinner here tonight and tried the fried cauliflower and Musaka for appetizers. Hubby had the chicken kabob plate and a I had the Kafta plate which comes with a salad and choice of fries or rice. The salad had a great dressing. The plates were really tasty and they are large portions for the money! Unfortunately the cauliflower was not very warm and could tell it was sitting there for awhile. I wasn't expecting the Musaka to be a cold dish so that was my fault. Otherwise the chicken and Kafta were seasoned well and authentic. Will try the chicken shawarma next time! read more

I came here to try out the new kid on the block. I waited about 5 mins to order, I ordered the chicken kabob pita. The cashier was friendly and informative. He told me the sandwich would take about 10 mins to get to me. I received my order around the time they stated. I would have gotten my order sooner however they confused it for a dine in order. When i got back to work i must say the sandwich was tasty. Definitely a good to sandwich and its the right amount of food. Overall good experience im eager to try more of their food.
