Delicious food, hideous service. We were a party of 8 and waited patiently for 45 minutes for a table. In our party was a 9 month old baby, 2 four year olds and my 75 year old mother. After our extensive wait, a party of 7 walked in and began eyeing a table that was clearly about to finish up. As the table got up, one of the individual's from the other group went up to the hostess, told her that they would take that table and our group could have another table (that was still seated and eating dessert). What?? We immediately protested but the hostess had already acquiesced. We sat around for another ten minutes, kind of shell shocked and trying to decide what to do (hungry little ones and A Lot of time invested). The manager offered nothing other than lukewarm apologies. I finally was so disgusted that I left. No excuse for seating the other table in front of us. We were introduced to Pita Jungle by some good friends and we have been going back for the excellent food and quick service ever since. Often we order take out when we n want a delicious quick meal and don't feel like cooking. I highly recommend the Mediterranean Chicken Salad for a light hearty meal. It's all good! read more

I've wanted to try this place for some time and was not disappointed. The place was busy when I walked in and was greeted and offered seating immediately. I'll keep this short and relevant. I had a hard time choosing from the menu. I can't wait to come back and try a number of items, especially after observing neighboring diner's dishes. Wow. Ordered from them last night through Amazon Now. Order was incomplete and one item ordered was not edible. I ordered 4 items. First a salad where I paid an extra $1.99 for avocado, no avocado. Second a hummus where I chose cucumbers for dipping instead of pita. No cucumbers. Third item was a app platter with a couple different items, including a couple dips. Missing the requested cucumbers again for dipping and one of the dips. Last item was the mahi mahi and hummus platter. The fish was super fishy smelling and tasted bitter( I order this alot and know it's not supposed to taste like this.) We could not even eat this. I called them to let them know and they didnt care. Told me I could drive to the restaurant. It was 930 PM. If I wanted to drive, I wouldn't have ordered delivery. This was not a cheap meal and I'm very disappointed with this location. I had a great meal at this restaurant. I was appalled at the hostess. She was wearing 'Daisy Duke' shorts, her butt cheeks were hanging out and the suspenders she was wearing kept pulling her shorts up into her rear end. Our table was close to where she was standing and we were constantly seeing her put her fingers into the back of her shorts and pull them out of her crack. Now normally I would not be upset but she was setting tables with silverware and giving out menu's with those hands she kept sticking up her butt crack and I couldn't help thinking "How much fecal matter is she passing along to the patrons" which caused me to stop eating, pay my bill and decide I would not be coming back to this restaurant. read more

I love Pita Jungle and have been a loyal customer for over ten years but this is the worst location. I will never be back to this one, ever. It is NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY, so watch out if you have food allergies. Let's start with parking here being a complete nightmare and then this restaurant being cramped and noisy. It's always been my least favorite but I was at work and needed to pick up a to-go order. First they are way understaffed and the poor girl doing to-go could not keep up with all the people waiting to place and pick-up orders along with the phone orders that came in non-stop. I placed my to-go order for a salmon salad which I eat frequently and just had last week at the Mesa location. I have a dairy allergy and have never experienced an issue with this order. I mean I eat Pita Jungle several times a month and I know what is safe. The girl tells me the salmon specifically takes 25-30 minutes and I say ok, I'll wait. I just thought they were overly busy because I can pick up this same salad from the Mesa location and they have it ready in less than 10 minutes. My order is ready and I check it to be sure they included the dressing and I realize there is white stuff all over it. Feta cheese? WHY? Seriously this salad does not come with feta cheese. The girl informs me that they changed their menu at this location ONLY. Um how can you be an allergy friendly restaurant but allow one chain to make up their own recipes for the same salad? That's not safe!!! Especially when the allergen guide on the Pita Jungle website says that this salad does not contain dairy. The girl says don't worry I'll have them remake it. So she brings out my salad and I head back to work. Then I realize that they took my piece of salmon and the 2 dressing cups out of the feta cheese salad and put it in a new plain salad. So there was still feta cheese all over the bottom of the salmon and the dressing cups, which got all over the new salad. I threw my salad out. No lunch. Seriously I've never been so disappointed in the service I've received from any restaurant. read more

First time to Pita Jungle with a group of 5 during mid-afternoon. There were only a few others there. The food was very tasty and the staff were pleasant. Pita Jungle has it all! As a vegan, I love that they have vegan options. My favorite is the Garden Veggie Wrap. It's a good portion of food for the cost too so it doesn't leave me hungry. Everything I've had there is amazing though. It's great for date nights or taking my family there when visiting from out of town. The atmosphere is pleasant as well and the servers are have always been great and got my order right every time. read more

The Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus is the BEST! I love how it is served with Naan and over a Red Quinoa Salad.

Pita Jungle is one of my favorite places to go for a quick lunch or dinner. I've been to most of their locations and the food is usually consistent. The service varies a lot and my last visit to this location was just okay. I had to ask another server to flag down our server, who we saw very little of. The tables are very cramped and there isn't a lot of privacy to chat when the restaurant is busy. I do love the food and variety the menu offers. Overall, I will be back but hope for better service next time! read more

My review is not about the food, I love the food. My review is about the customer service. I brought my husband and my sister to this place bragging about the food being so good on the way from a 1 hour dinner break to a seminar we are attending that night. We got there at 7:05 pm. young lady took our drink and dinner order @ 7:10 pm. came back with our drinks at 7:15 pm. so far so good. By 7:30 pm. We were wondering where our order but not overly worried, by 7:45 2 sets of family came in after us got their order first. The last time the waitress stop by our desk was when she brought our drinks, she never stop by again to let us know if the food is on the way. By 7:50 pm. I tried to flag our waitress by waiving my hands while she's talking to another customer as if there's no other custom around. So I ask the waiter that was passing by our table if our food is ready, the waiter went to our waitress to ask her. Our waitress look towards our table, went to check our order, look at our table again, said something to the waiter and by this time we had a terrible feeling that our order was never given to the chef and we were right, the waiter not the waitress that was helping us came to our table to let us know that the chef didn't get our order and ask us if we still want to wait for our food, it's already 8pm. As you can imagine, I wanted to tell the gentleman a lot of not so very nice words, but instead, I told him we have to go back to our seminar which we're already late. Waiter said he's very sorry and nothing else, didn't even offer anything to make the whole situation ok. The waitress didn't even approach us to apologies for a terrible service. So we left without paying for our drinks which I felt a little guilty but quickly forget it and went to Rubios next door. You may ask, why didn't we call our waitress early on? Looking back, we should have, but when you're in a busy place and having good time talking about an exciting business, time flies. If I can give an unsolicited advice, I will say, if you want to work as a waitress and I know lots of waitresses that are so good at what they, is check with your customers once in a while and let them know what's going on. One thing I know about people is, no matter what kind of setting you find yourself at, if there's any kind of waiting that is happening, is that they want to be a acknowledge, updated and informed of what's going on. You know a place is going down hill when management is not concerned with customer service... Do NOT join them for Happy Hour or Tapas because honestly, good luck if you do. Time to change my post- work out routine because they just lost a fairly frequent customer over a plate of olives... Sound silly? I agree! Long story short I was sitting at the bar decompressing and wasn't aware that by the time I ordered it was six minutes past the Happy Hour cut-off time. Simple solution... override the system and tell me thats the last Tapas order. Pita Jungles management's solution, who is apparently not concerned at all with customer satisfaction, give me the lame " the computer wont let me do it," response. I just want some olives! There are to many restaurants in town for me to frequently visit one with management like that. I've been in industry I was not impressed. Late one Friday night, around 9:50, I dropped into Pita Jungle with two other friends. Both friends had already been to Pita Jungle multiple times; both raved about their visits. I was very hesitant, considering I didn't like Pita and all. One of my friends split a dish with me that we were ensured was the most popular dish ordered, the Mediterranean Roasted Chicken. It consisted of Grilled marinated chicken breast in a pita, with mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, pickles, garlic sauce and tahini. Now, I don't know about you, but I had never heard of tahini and was quite surprised about the taste it served. As most have come to know, Pita bread does not consist of very much flavor. However, this particular dish, including the tahini, had a very delicious taste. The taste was unique; must have been the unique combination of garlic, tahini and the marinade of the chicken. I was very impressed by the outcome of my dinner. It was a very simple plate, nothing extravagant about it. But, the taste made up for its lack of presentation. I would definitely recommend Pita Jungle to those in search of a very unique, yet simple restaurant. read more
