That night they outdid themselves! I took pictures of the first few pairings, but the ambience and the music made me forget to take pictures of the rest! The prawns with basmati rice and vegetables was superb! And the tocinillo del cielo was amazing. If you like morcilla - this is the place. And I had never had stewed wild boar with chocolate sauce - OMG! If you're looking for Spanish food, there are many good options in Miami, but Kebo should be at the top of your list! You'll thank me later.

It's small inside with o my one table, so you'll sit outside if you stay. I waited inside for my food.

His response was a shrug, and the item remained on my bill. I took both the soup and wings home and attempted to rescue them myself--adding vegetables and seasoning to the lentils and air-frying the wings with additional seasoning and sauce. They were considerably better after the intervention. That, unfortunately, was the takeaway: when a restaurant has previously given you something worth returning for, consistency matters. So does acknowledging a guest's feedback when the experience misses the mark. I left disappointed, but perhaps the meal served as a reminder that sometimes the best version is still the one I make at home. The two cold appetizers - hummus and baba ghanoush with pita bread were edible. Disappointed overall.

This is a Lebanese restaurant so the flavors are unique! I am a bigger fan of Greek and Turkish Mediterranean food, but the owner is very passionate about his craft and takes great care to prepare everything exactly as, it should be for both flavor and appearance! The prices are kind is steep, but this is on Key Biscayne so the rent is probably higher as well. The best bet is a platter! You get to try several sides and sauces. Try the Platter, the lamb is so freaking delicious! The parking is very uncomfortable and cramped but they really have no control over that. The food is amazing. When looking through the glass that separates the customers from the food you can see they are really carful and sanitary when adding ingredients to your order. Try the baba ganoush! read more

How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in. Often. kuffo is that good!
