What a disappointment for this tight squeezed space. Very clean I guess because it's new but for the months that it's been open the food is a big disappointment. Meat served cold, the lamb is bland and the chicken is tasty but has a weird texture to it. Let's just say the rice is just as bland as the lamb. I ventured to this place once and only once and never again. Service with a smile, but I have some pride in what you serve. Good luck.

I walked in during lunchtime, and the lines weren't bad at all. There is no place to eat inside, so there's only takeout and pickup orders. When I arrived there were no lines, so that was great. It was just really hot inside, so I felt bad for the workers. They gave a large portion size, and I was happy about that. I asked for the authentic bowl, which I saw on top of the glass counter. I picked the lamb and beef for the protein. Everything else stayed the same. They gave a large portion size, but the one thing that bothered me was they either forgot to give me the extra sauce and gave me too small of a portion size of the tzahiki sauce. I had to add my own seasoning. I don't know if I'll return as it was too bland for me.

I've been a long time fan of Pita Yeero and frequent their Vanderbilt Urbanspace very often for lunch and sometimes dinner too. Their tzatziki is one of the best I've had... I haven't found better in NYC and NJ yet! Their beef & lamb yeero bowl is my go-to, and I often get the plant based meatballs too. The staff is kind and quick, I appreciate that service is always so friendly! Today's visit during the grand opening was no different, everyone was on point, quick and kind. Prices are super reasonable, especially for Midtown. This location doesn't have seating so just an FYI it's more of a grab and go place. Perfect for lunch to take back to the office. I'm so excited for the team and hope this is just the first of many standalone stores for the owners!

Great customer service! Went around 12PM and there wasn't a long line during my lunch break at work. I got a falafel pita. Pretty good I should've got more taziki sauce as it was pretty dry

I'm Greek and I'm always craving a good gyro (or yeero, as we call it). And to be real, most gyro restaurants in NYC are not the real thing. A friend of mine recommended me to come here and I decided to check it out. I'm so glad to have found a piece of home right by Grand Central! The line was long upon entering, but moved up rather quickly. Workers were efficient in preparing the food. First things first, I love that the meat is fresh and shaved off the pit! They sell bowls, gyros, and even some desserts. All gyro choices come with fries, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. For lunch, I ordered myself a chicken gyro with tzatziki. I asked for no lettuce (more traditional that way!) Overall, very delicious and filling. Meat was seasoned well. They added plenty of ingredients inside. Loved that they also kept it traditional with the fries and the paprika on top. The chicken could've been a little less salty, but I was still satisfied with my meal :) I wish I had made more room for dessert, but oh well, next time for sure! Sure, the prices don't beat Greece but well that's NYC for you. For roughly $13, you are still getting a bang for your buck. Highly recommend and I will be back. Note: No seating inside. Takeout only, but cute gyro to-go containers :)

I have been passing by Pita Yeero on my way to work for a while now waiting for it to open and it just opened this week. You can pick a bowl or pita. Within each, they have more options. Then on to the meats where they also have vegetarian and vegan options. You can get ready-made off the menu or design your own with toppings and in Pita or bowls. I got myself a pita pocket with chicken and beef, topped with feta and hot sauce and Greek fries. The helping was the right size for me and a great meal on a rainy lunch day for about $13. But if you are really hungry I would say go for a bowl with fries on the side.

I was thinking about getting a bowl all day . However, most of the food was cold. I went around 2:30PM. I was really hoping for warm crispy fries but they were cold. The pita also wasn't warm. The beef lamb gyro strips are kind of salty. The toppings like the grape leaves and tzatziki were good. The portion is also huge. The staff were really friendly as well. I will give it another try and go earlier this time , hopeful the food will be fresh.

Mid out of the 3 Greek places on this block I'd give them number 3, $16 for a bowl and not a lot of options of toppings. Cava number 1 still

Yummy food and fast! Tried it while on a trip to the city and it hit the spot. We ate there a couple of times over the weekend.

Even without the sauces, it was good on its own, but the sauces elevated the flavors. The mashed potatoes were a little unflavorful and the green beans were pretty mushy to my liking but the chicken was very solid. I'd recommend getting the yams as a side and the mac and cheese! We also tried the sweet tea and the limeade and that was extremely sweet. After mixing it with water, it tasted better but just a heads up, that it tastes like drinking sugar water.

However, the ordering process is convoluted and took more time than I expected to get my food. You order first at the far end before getting to the cashier to pay. I got the classic combo for 2 piece chicken, and you get to pick the part and type. I got pan fried thigh and leg, and did see a sign for a charge for large pieces, perhaps referring to breast? The chicken was tender but wasn't fresh so the skin had gotten a little soggy. I got coleslaw as my side which is a perfectly executed classic coleslaw - tangy, great balance of mayo, refreshing crunch. I wasn't feeling the cornbread at first because it was too fluffy rather than grainy but when I had it the next morning, it tasted even better. Perhaps, I was just a bit uncomfortable sitting there. All this for $11! I'd come back again but maybe to-go and heat up the chicken in an air fryer.

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.
