My family and I have traditionally enjoyed Pitfire pizza. However have learnt that not all of them are created equal. This is currently our favorite location. We asked for our kids food to come out at the same time as our salads. They nailed it. We also tried the meatballs and brussels sprouts this time. Both were excellent. As far as the pizzas go. The honey bear is tough to beat. And if you like mushroom, the field mushroom pizza is fantastic. We still haven't tried the dippers, but that will definitely happen on our next visit. The food was stellar, the service was good, and the drinks (both in the pizzeria, as well as the speakeasy and back) were amazing. Oh yeah, they have a speakeasy behind the restaurant that you enter through another door called Pie Society which get a little crowded but the cocktails are very well done! read more

Never been to a pizza place that you can order alcohol to go. I think this is the new norm after COVID but this is still my first place going with this experience! I'm excited for the pink pizza box. It's so cute and good to differentiate them with other pizza places. Highlights of the menu: 1. Mozzarella & basil pizza adding bacon, pineapple, mushrooms 2. Garlic ginger chicken wings 3. Decided to stop in for some pasta and a cold beer and was very pleasantly surprised! From the moment I came in I was greeted and didn't have to wait to seat or order... on top of that, the dining area was very open and clean, and the atmosphere was on point. The pasta was DELICIOUS. The beer was cold, and I had a nice selection to choose from. Justin, Mikayla, and Brianna were lovely and I received very fast friendly service! 10/10 would recommend. The below was shared with Cody Hopkins Regional Manager of Pitfire. At first there was no response then I resent it and he claims he never received it. Yeah right. Long story short is they are happy with how their failing restaurant is. Good luck to them. I doubt they will be in business much longer anyway. They offered me a couple pizzas the next time I come in but their were many restrictions attached. I have been a big fan of Pitfire Pizza since the day it opened in my neighborhood. Lately there have been some issues which have been ruining the experience. 1. Food is taking forever to come out. ~45 min after ordering 2. Everything is coming out burnt. From the pizza to the garlic knots it's all burned! 3. Togo orders are constantly missing items 4. Staff's attitude is generally is very poor Please fix these issues so Pitfire can be what it once was. Happy to keep spending hundreds of dollars a month here but things need to be better. read more

The to-go order system here has not great in recent weeks. Pizza is never ready on time, so expect to wait at least 15-40 minutes past your set pick up time, at least in my recent experiences in past weeks! The pizza here is almost always perfect, although my to-go pizza tonight was burnt on one side and raw on the other. This is one of our local neighborhood favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and great for groups and even small parties with a private room behind the main dining area. We love the steak salad and really any of their pizzas but especially the honey bear for a spicy sweet combo. With a legit pizza oven, the crust is always perfect. Really poor service. Asked for assistance three times for the same item and eventually had to get up to walk over to the kitchen to ask for it again from the same waitress we had asked already three times. As the same girl kept saying oh yea, I'll get that for you and then she was just dancing around in the kitchen area not paying attention. Finally she brought us the item we had been waiting for. Once we were done, we had asked her for some boxes. She again forgot we had asked for boxes. Instead she went to the booth next to us to clear the table while we still waited for the boxes to go for another 10 minutes. Finally got up to grab the boxes ourselves. We were not helped at all for refills either. No one came to check on us during our time there and to top it off our pizzas were just okay, definitely have had better elsewhere. The pizza was pretty burnt, the crust burnt, the toppings burnt and very bland. The frozen margarita that I ordered tasted like metal and was water down but the ipa was good at least. This is our go to for casual pizza & sangria. The pizza is excellent, I'd recommend the Zoe's pepperoni - and we often add mushrooms. We always drive by this spot and wanted to check it out since we were craving pizza. We called and ordered a sausage party pizza and it was ready by the time we got there. I asked for jalapeños which they said they do charge extra for. My go-to pizza spots normally just give them to me. By the time we got home the pizza did get cold but we warmed it up and it was delicious. The different meats on the pizza tasted so good together. We moved to CM 6 months ago. Decided to try Pitfire a few months ago. The first issue we had was that they gave us the wrong pizza. With that being said, the salad was good. We decided to give it another try recently, figuring mistakes happen. We ordered ahead of time, a medium pizza and salad. Showed up 35 minutes after the order was placed and waited almost another 30 minutes. The guy apologized and was very nice. The salad was good again but the pizza was mediocre at best. Cashier decided to put it all on the same table number since we were all seated together. They seemed to have lost the two tickets for the other pizzas my friend and I ordered. Finally, after 20 minutes, my pizza came. We had offered to share with our friend, but she had customized her own pizza and wanted to wait to try that. My friend kept waiting for hers before I flagged down a waitress and told her that everyone had finished their pizzas and my friend was still waiting on hers. Waitress said she would check on it. Waited another 10 minutes and flagged down another waitress and was told "ooh they totally forgot about it. It's in the oven now." When her pizza arrived, my other friend and I finished eating. They made no apology. Didn't try to correct or appease us at all....in fact they purposely avoided our table and sent another person to come over and asked if needed more water or boxes. I placed an order ON the actual website. It then directed me to DoorDash for the delivery option. I placed the order at 7:12pm and I am still waiting for 2 pizzas and 1 salad. I called and they said "oh, well it says we received your order @ 8:05pm". PLEASE SEE the email I received from the actual restaurant attached. No remorse or genuine apology. RIDICULOUS. I've had 2 DoorDash drivers already cancel and one said "I wouldn't order from this place again, they screw up all the time" Never will I ever. So sad because the food is great. Always a great experience here and come often with family and friends. Great pizza, pasta, salads, and sides. Always good microbrew and sangria available. They always have some seasonal items to keep the menu fresh. The service and attitude from those that work here are always stellar. Will continue to come back with one caveat. One item that should be corrected is charging your customers a "Happy and Healthy 3% surcharge to support sustainable earnings and benefits for our team". That's tacky and off putting. And to put the responsibility on the customer to identify and request to be remove the charges is inappropriate. Figure out your pricing so you don't surcharge, penalize and put that additional responsibility on your loyal customers after we are tipping generously already in a tough economy. Every adult we come with or I've recommended to come here had the same opinion on this. Hope this business has the awareness to make the change. read more

We ordered the chicken pesto and the chicken bbq pizza and they were cold and they were dry and chewy. I asked my husband to go earlier to pick it up so it would be hot, just out of the oven and they were both barely hot. The pizzas were barely cut, we had to recut them ourselves. Really disappointed. Considering they are pricey and even charged an extra $4 for two small ranches. We went about two years ago and it was the same thing when we ate there. Lesson learned! read more
