This review is for a delivery order. Outrageously delicious pie. For $21.75, their barbecue chicken pizza is worth every penny. We were blown away by the attention to detail with our order. The pizzas (we ordered mini cheese pies and the bbq chicken) were fresh out of the oven hot upon arrival. I really appreciated that they didn't toss the Caesar and sent it over with a hefty cup of dressing and a lemon wedge. Thanks for the extra napkins and forks too! I can't speak on the ambiance, but I have no doubt it's just as terrific as the service for online orders. read more

I wish I could be a pizza purist. But I'm not. I have too many allergies due to growing up on a preservative filled, milk drowned USDA pyramid scheme diet in public school and from eating 7-layer burritos from Taco Hell when my mom was struggling to keep the lights on. And then she'd come home and say "do you want pizza tonight?" And I'd turn, with tears in my malnourished eyes and say: "but mom, we can't have pizza, the cheese hurts my tummy." Anyways. Honey Bear with no cheese, add roasted chicken, garlic and basil with a side of the Caesar Gem Salad and the dressed avocado - then I put the avocado on the pizza. Food is great, veggie sides are awesome. The hot sauce is solid but a little too much heat with not enough tangyness. Lady at the register asked if I was a father. Let me start by saying - my wife and I came here to take a break from being stuck in traffic and construction. We didn't entirely plan to do more than snack. Two pizzas and a few drinks later, we've learned our lesson. The crust is phenomenal. Regardless of what you decide to get on top of the pizza, the bready goodness beneath is a simple delight. Firm, a bit chewy, strong enough to lift a slice without it sloughing over. The outer edges of the crust are a little crispy and have blackened bubbles. Just perfect. We got two pizzas. One had bee pollen and honey on it. That was too weird not to try, and too tasty to leave a slice uneaten. I don't know who thought that up, but they deserve to have a pizza named after them. The bolognese pizza makes a lot of sense as far as traditional pizzas go. Cheese, big leaves of basil, and little dollops of bolognese. I don't know why I didn't think of it. Anyway, there's a lot of pizzas on the menu that we haven't tried. Gotta go back! read more

SERVICE: - Staff was generally friendly, but seemed inattentive. We stopped by on a weekday night. It wasn't super busy, but we stood around for 5-10 min without being acknowledged. After placing our order, we had to walk up to the cashier to ask for our food. We saw it sitting on the shelf for 15 min without it being brought over. We ended up asking to pick it up for ourselves. FOOD: - Try the Honey Bear and Burrata! Great flavors and thin crust. Zoe's pepperoni is also good, but if you're looking for something different, would recommend the first 2. PARKING: - They have a small lot in front of the restaurant, but it typically fills up with dine in and pick up customers. There is street parking, but it can be difficult during peak hours. I was really excited to make my way to LA to hang out with some friends- we were all excited to try Pitfire as we were craving pizza. I guess this is somewhat of a chain restaurant. We ordered then grabbed our spot. There was plenty of seating indoors and out when we went on a Saturday evening, around 6. Parking is limited in their lot and we had to find street parking in the neighborhoods. We ordered the mushroom, tomato, and burrata, pizzas. Three pies but I can't recall the name of it. I was hungry so the wait felt like forever but when it came out - the pizzas were gorgeous. Our table's favorite was the mushroom as it had a ton of toppings and didn't feel overly sauced. We also liked the burrata with the pesto. I loved the charred crusts but my friends couldn't eat a lot of it as it was a little bit burnt for some people. They were generous with their cheese and chili flakes. The tomato pizza was good - it had a lot of tomato which I didn't mind but others were picking them off. Overall, it was a fun atmosphere and I love being able to pay and then leave immediately after eating. Do they even have stores here in OC? I sure hope so. read more

This is one of our regular go tos. Pizza is fantastic. I never eat the crust, here I eat the crust. It's so good. The field mushroom pizza is my favorite. Cavatappi delicious when I'm in the mood for comfort pasta. Tasty wine and with a bump in price they will top off your glass. The veggies are good to explore, some hits, some misses. I really miss their avocado toast though--bring it back! Very kid friendly. Kids each get a mini box of clay to keep them entertained as they wait. No mention of this when we placed the order, and when we inquired about the status they gave the response, "you should try us during lunch instead" and seemed annoyed by us asking. Other tables were all upset, with 1 table getting refunded bc everyone had finished eating and then 2 kids pizzas finally came out. You need to let your customers know when they place the order if there's an extended wait time especially when we have hungry kids that can't wait 1 hour to eat!!!
