Good food! Pizza is some of best I've had in LA, but beware, the crust to pie ratio is awful. You pretty much good 3 good bites of pizza and then it's 2 inches of crust. Just their style I guess, my only complaint. The sides were phenomenal, star of the show. Cheesy Garlic knots were legit amazing, chewy texture and well seasoned with Parmesan/herbs. Garlic and ginger boneless wings were also really really good. Karaage chicken style, crispy tempura type batter. Sauce is good. Delicious pizza, great salads, big open environment with plenty of seating for everyone. They have inventive new pizzas every time that are fun to try something new. Went to Pitfire Pizza for the first time with my little league baseball team, and I have to say it was good. Food: We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the boneless Buffalo wings. I know what you're thinking. Why boneless? Well, they only sell boneless wings. However, the wings were crunchy, and the flavor was spot on. The pizza was so good and it was a perfect size pizza. It had 8 slices per pizza. They do have a mini pizza that has 4 small slices for younger guests. We also ordered 2 cokes, which you have the option of a bottle of coke or a soft fountain drink and the 4 dippers sauce combo to go with the wings. They offer spicy ranch, honey, regular ranch, and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was regular tomatoe sauce and didn't have the marinara flavor or texture you would expect, and the honey was just honey with flakes, nothing special. The spicy ranch was the best flavor for sure. I would recommend adding bone-in wings to the menu. Not many people prefer boneless wings. The menu is great, and they offer pastas, salads, and pizzas, and they have vegan options. Service: The staff was so nice and patient, they bring your oder to you and are very accommodating to their guests. We had a very large group of about 25 people, and they were able to fit all of us close together and still had plenty of space in the restaurant. Great job!. Atmosphere: It's a cool place to go and hang out. It's very casual and the decor is mostly wood and cement. Their is a massive seating area inside, and they have a pebble ground seating area outside. The pebbles on the ground make it feel like a sandbox and are a little messy, but the kids loved it. I recommend you check your table. Our table was a little sticky, and we could tell it wasn't wiped down from the last guests. Price: The prices are fair, and there are no issues with the cost. You definitely get your money worth, and the quality is worth it. Pizzas are about $16 for a large. It's not too bad. Location: It's in Culver City off of Washington Blvd. It's about 20 minutes from my house, which is perfect. However, there are multiple locations that may be closer to you. read more

Been to the Pitfire in NoHo, first time here by work. Got the Burrata and added sausage, was a hard choice between the go-to Zoe's Pepperoni or the local fave Honey Bear. Anyway, just got back from Naples so I've still got a good baseline in mind. Crust: crispy outer, medium airy inside, good woodfire taste. Nice blackened color. Could have been a little thinner, lacked a bit of salt. Still very solid with great crisp and better than surrounding spots 9/10 Toppings: tomato sauce good consistency, good flavor, pesto is GREAT, amazing crunch from the hazelnuts and the drizzled arugula is well balanced. Cheese is nice a gooey, great flavor. Can't really find the sausage but can't fault it since it's a custom add-on. 9/10 Waitress was very nice and gave attentive service, immediately bringing out the parm and pepper with the plate/napkin. Offered a cup of ice for my drink. Sat outside on a nice sunny winter day, playing light jams. Easy lunch, not many folks around 1pm. Will return for a mozzarella fix! read more

There is no suggestive selling, which when I mentioned it's my first time there I was surprised no recommendations were made. I ordered a mushroom pizza and chopped salad for two of us to share. The pizza was large, toppings plenty but extremely overcooked. It tasted like a cooked matzoh with melted cheese, mushrooms and lots of olive oil. The chopped salad was plentiful and would have been good except for a gallon of salad dressing. And the dressing was dull Italian aka Wishbone dressing. Most other diners were eating pasta. Very kid friendly too. The staff is amazing. They are so accommodating and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and help with any ordering you need. I will start by saying that 3 -4 months ago this was the best pizza I have found in the area. Highly reminiscent of what is in NYC. The crust was thin with an outer rim that was doughy with the amazing bubbles from a wood fired oven. I'm not certain who decided to brush the crust with oil but this has ruined the texture of the dough such that the pizza is tough and ultimately not even worth eating anymore. It is perplexing why one would change the recipe in such a way as to add a step which detracts from the overall quality and taste . Allow customers to put their own olive oil on the crust if that's what they wish. But that is NOT how you prepare pizza . Please stop. read more

It's been awhile since we dined at Pitfire, we were reminded how much we enjoyed our previous experiences. The wood-fired baking makes a big difference, we tried their deal during the pandemic where you'd bake one of your pizzas at home. It wasn't the same. The crispy potato pizza was a pleasant surprise, not a typical topping but full of flavor. The honey bear pizza is good, but be prepared for a bit of spiciness (not overwhelming). The pepperoni pizza is a reliable standby. All of the pizzas are a good size, we were able to share. One more surprise was the spaghetti with chicken meatballs. The pasta is properly cooked, the three (3) meatball's are a good size treat. Two good size patios ensure dining inside or outside is a ready option almost anytime. Kids enjoyed their pepperoni pizza too. Quality and portions made for a very good QPR Mushroom pizza was rich and very well seasoned (no tomato sauce). Only thing it was lacking was a touch of acid - maybe a balsamic or some lemon drizzle. But we loved it. Shaved kale salad was great with plenty of nuts and toppings. Didn't even need the dressing which was mediocre anyhow. This place was GROSS. Definitely bottom of the barrel pizza. The wings were very dry and chewy, it felt like eating tough leather. The pizza was served cold and flimsy. It's been a while since I had been to Pitfire pizza. And even now without Covid raging, the idea of going and sitting in a pizza restaurant instead of getting deliver had not come to mind. But I remembered the pleasant experiences (even when it was packed to the gills) we had had in the past dining at Pitfire and decided to give it a go. All the food was the same as I remembered it. Fresh, delicious, and considered. Despite being a family place with pizza, there's still brocollini on the menu to help balance it out. But what had changed, or at least was really noticeable was the exceptional service we received. Lots of checkins from multiple people taking care of us. No rushing. No delay longer than would be expected for a made to order pizza. But just exceptional service. I was even offered an iced tea refill to go! Great service is worth calling out.
