From out of town, wanted a quick Slice to eat by the beach, cute store front, but poor service, cashier had nasty fingernails and was touching our money/cards then grabbed out drinks and put his nasty fingers all over the straw and lids. We've seen this place a bunch of times but finally stopped in tonight based on the great reviews on Yelp. Glad we did, everything was great. Had the BBQ chicken pizza on gluten free crust - split it with my husband, while the girls got cheese slices. Homemade cookies were great too. Went to the Laguna Hotel for a wedding and after a while I was tired so I left home. My brother and I made a wrong turn and I looked in hungry and me always up for pizza . I asked if they were still open and they were very nice, offered to make me a fresh pizza but I said it's okay I would take one in the case. As we were waiting to go they offered something to drink but we declined (talk about service!) got the pizza and went home. As soon as I took that first bite it was oh my god amazing! Just had the poutine here and it was delicious! Brings back great memories of many years ago in Canada. Don't know of anywhere around here other than the Pizza Bar where you can get this! Delicious Canadian specialty of french fries topped with cheese curds, gravy, and other toppings of choice. We had chicken. Finished with the Hazelnut Heaven flatbread dessert. Love this pizza place!! Seriously good pizza. It's walk up and order, so it's perfect for families (we have two little ones) or if you need to be in a hurry. Management and the employees were so nice and helpful. Salads looks amazing, although we only got pizzas. It's also right next to the beach, which is a plus. read more

This place was surprisingly good. It's a little expensive, but not for Laguna. Very casual and fast so you can get in and out quickly if you want but seems friendly enough that you could stay for a bit if you wanted. The quality of the pizza is the biggest part of the 5-star review. The ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality, sauce was good, cheese was the right amount, and the crust had the perfect amount of crunch to it (we got a margarita). We got take out at this place and we ordered an extra large pizza, a meat ball sandwich and chicken Alfredo . The food was good but service needs work. They told us 15 to 20 minutes on the phone for the food to be ready and when I got there they told me the same thing. As I stood there waiting for my food for 40 minutes I got to see what I would have preferred not to when it comes down to following covid guidelines. Clearly no physical distancing between the workers. I understand is a small kitchen and times are rough right now but for the customers and employees safety they should manage their volume better to avoid too many orders and a crowded kitchen. A man playing expediter and also assisting the cashier has no idea what covid guidelines are or simply doesn't care. He wiped the sweat off his forehead at least 5 times while I was there. He also kept lowering his mask to catch a breath but by pulling it down from the front of his mask and was also allover the cashiers screen. I never saw him washing his hands once. This same guy kept touching all of the already made food coming out of the kitchen with his dirty hands. To top it off he placed my complete food order on top of the pizza oven and left the floor for a while without asking me or letting someone know my food was ready. I am glad I asked and the cashier about my food and she was able to figure it all out at that point. She seem embarrassed about the whole thing. She was professional and empathetic but needs real help at the front. Whoever owns this place is doing a great job with the food but needs to take a great look of the world right now and care to the customers the way they deserve. Laguna was my family's first outing since March and this was not pleasant to see being the first out first time being out. read more

I would like to see this child's birth certificate because I am sure what they are doing is illegal! She was very rude and sassy towards my family and I.
