Chose this place because I am not from the area and saw that they delivered. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and French fries with cheese (because I was $0.01 short of the minimum). The delivery took a little over an hour but the food arrived hot and with plenty of supplies (napkins, forks, and condiments). While I was not a big fan if the cheese used in the fries or the top layer of cheese on the pasta (each was a melted mozzarella I believe), the food was still delicious. I ordered delivery through the yelp app. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of ordering from the app. The menu was pretty extensive and I was glad for the options after arriving in town late on a Sunday evening. This is my go-to place for pizza so I've been a fan for a little while. I like the pizza and delivery is usually fast, although I live pretty close to it so that could be why. I have been a raving fan of pizza boli's for 10 years. They have the most consistent product in town. I must congratulate them always on racing over to me, even on busy weekend nights. Yesterday at 11:10 pm on the dot I called and ordered a half chicken filet sub, western fries and a Stromboli. The sub and fries arrived at 11:57 pm, pretty horrible in terms of delivery time but that's not the worst part: no Stromboli. The bad news is I signed the receipt before realizing my order wasn't complete and even gave the guy a 20% tip. He apologized and said he'd be back in 20 mins. Two calls and 2 and a half hours after my original order, yet still no Stromboli. I spoke to a guy named Kasim telling him to remove the charge for the food I didn't receive as well as the tip. I could have driven from DC to Philly in this amount of time. I'll never order from this place again. If you order delivery, only pay in cash, only then can you prevent Pizza Boli from holding your order hostage. My charge card reimbursed me for the item I didn't receive. Worst. Pizza. Ever. OK, it was delivered - that's a factor. But the crust really was like cardboard, thick cardboard. It was supposed to be pepperoni, I think there was some of that on there, but the overall topping was pretty nearly dried to shoe leather and it was hard to discern individual pieces of anything. Fresh garlic never had a chance - lost to whatever they did to this pizza. I rarely write reviews (thanks to you who do), but this was so very bad, I had to tell anyone who might order a pizza from this shop. I placed an order from Pizza Boli's via EatStreet online. The pizza took an extra 30 mins to get here from what the estimated time was and arrived cold. I spoke with 2 different reps before my Pizza actually arrived. Once it arrived I called back again and let them know it was cold. The rep told me her manager was on the way back and she would have him bring me another pizza personally. I waited an additional hour before I called back to see where this pizza was, the rep responded it was on the way. The manager arrived with the pizza stating he got busy, I explained this was unacceptable to be receiving my pizza 3 hours later after placing my initial order, and that I didn't want the pizza I rather be refunded. He stated he can not refund it because I paid EatStreet so I should take the new pizza and he will give me a discount on my next one. I explained it was still unacceptable as a manager to deliver a product to your customer 3 hours later and expect them to be satisfied. He stated he couldn't help me. His name was Kaseem. I placed the order over 48 hours in advance and called to make sure it would be delivered before noon and it was still late. Great pizza and overall great experience! Had the bbq chicken and I will admit that it was one of the best I've had and the driver was very pleasant. My only concern is the fact that your drivers take and throw away the competitor's menus.. I admit that I do, on occasion enjoy ordering from other places. I've been ordering from this Pizza Boli's for years and they were my favorite - LOVE their pizza. BUT - the last two orders have been messed up. The first, they delivered someone else's pizza to me, and I didn't notice until after I was inside and delivery person was gone. It was a similar pizza, but a medium instead of a large and had a different address on the ticket. Ordered again tonight and double checked the ticket on the box at delivery and it was correct, but when I got inside and opened it, it was a completely different pizza!! I don't know if the staff or management has changed, but this is two fundamental mistakes in a row - it's pretty straightforward - deliver the order to the right address, and put the right order in the right box!! I might give you one more chance because I love your pizza, but I will TRIPLE check my order when it is delivered!! read more

I had the lamb kebab and chips. It was probably the worst eating experience of my life. The lamb was manufactured in a lab somewhere on the premises and contained 0.1% meat and 99.9% awfulness. Food is DELICIOUS. I've ordered subs from here several times and they are everything I want in a sub: lots of meat, piping hot, buttery/toasted buns. French fries are cooked until perfectly crispy. I knocked a star off because I have to convince the driver to take the elevator up to my apartment, which causes some tension sometimes.....but not enough to keep me from eating here. This place's customer service was horrible. Friends and I came to Washington DC for a weekend, our hotel suggested this place to order delivery pizza from. I called the person on the phone asked for my number and the address of the hotel, he said it would take 45 minutes. Two hours later there was no call and no food, so I called the place asking where we were at in the delivery, he again asked the address of the hotel and then said the delivery driver was a few minutes away, I said ok. Another 30 minutes go by I call again, he told me the delivery driver just got back and that he called and called and I did not answer, I told them that I was calling from my phone and it hasn't been off did you write down the number right, there was a long pause some talking in the background and he came back on and asked me if I still wanted the food, no apology no correction on his mis-service, I said no we don't want it.
