First of all, I am gluten free so I am always looking for new places to eat. Pizza Boy came up when I was on my way back from a soccer tournament looking for somewhere new to eat. I am so glad that I went here because this place has some of the best gluten free food I have ever had!! I got the calzone and the Ajarski Khachapuri and man it was some of the fluffiest and most delicious bread I have ever had when it comes to gluten free. Both were amazing and I often come out of my way to eat here ( I live about 30 miles away and go a few times a month or when we have games in the area). They have a large selection of regular and gluten free foods and those that came with me and ate non gluten free food said it was amazing as well. I cannot give this place enough praise. I think I died and went to gluten free heaven. My husband and I came here tonight for dinner and were excited to try the food after reading the great reviews. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and patiently waited as we looked at the menu. I ordered the Armenian pizza on gluten free cauliflower crust and gluten free garlic knots (yes they actually had gf garlic knots) and my husband ordered the meat lovers pizza and wings. Having Celiac it is extremely hard and expensive to find clean food when you are out. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! I didn't feel bad when I ate their food. I missed ajarakan for a very long time and we ordered few weeks ago for breakfast and I enjoyed it sooooo much!!! When you ask for GF food they ask you if it is a celiac or just a diet. I used to love ordering from here. They have so many vegetarian and vegan options and it's amazing, but recently I've noticed that their vegan wings have declined dramatically. They taste like microwaved morning star chick'n nuggets with sauce on them and the pizza itself isn't the same. The sauce is no longer as flavorful and it's just over all kind of bland. It's pretty disappointing because I would order from here at least twice a month but recently I've been noticing a quality change. I ordered vegan tirimasu cake for 6 dollars, it's a small slice and not that tasty. Really unfortunate, hopefully they go back to their original recipe for their vegan options. The crust is properly seasoned and salted, the cheese center is well incorporated without pools of oil/butter, and the eggs have this lovely silky depth. I tried the Hawaiian and pepperoni pizza, fried zucchini chips, boneless Buffalo wings, and garlic knots. Every dish was a disappointment. The pizza came with a layer of grease that it took sheet after sheet of paper towels to dab off. Even then, the oily taste overpowered the rest of the flavors. The boneless chicken was bland and clearly not made from very quality chicken. Also, despite the menu picture having veggies, none were provided. The fried zucchini were way too breaded so that every bite had about twice the amount of bread as zucchini. As for the garlic knots, I love garlic, but these things were completely covered in garlic to the point of almost being inedible. Even the tomato sauce they came with was disappointing because it tasted watery rather than rich. I know they have a lot of gluten free options, and maybe those are better, but I doubt I'll be coming back to find out. read more

Their gluten free ajarski is really impressive. It tastes and feels like you think it should. For many people with medical gluten intolerance this place also has a large variety of different gf crusts. I have also never seen any place offer khachapuri/ajarski as gf. Thank you for taking care of people who actually have chronic illnesses instead of people who only care about food fads! NOTE: I do not know if there is cross contamination!!!! And i do NOT know if they're are trace amounts or partial wheat flour in any of the gf foods. I am only gluten intolerant not celiac. I found this place in 2019 and have been a regular since. The food is amazing - ALL OF IT. I am gluten free and it is very difficult to find pizza crust that doesn't taste like cardboard, or sandwich bread that isn't tough like a hockey puck. The Ancient Grains pizza crust and sandwich bread is delicious! I am not sure if they use the Ancient Grain brand in the GF Ajarski Khachapuri but that is amazing as well. Customer service top notch. I often order ahead and dine in, or work while I eat. They always check in to see how my meal is, or see if I need anything. The service received is something I would expect if I were family. Leaving this review hurts me as Pizza Boy has been my go to pizza place for 5 years. The last 3 or 4 orders just haven't been the same. We always order thick crust and have never minded paying the extra $3 or $4 dollars because it's always been great, but the last for times have been just normal crust while we've been charged more. Same for paying for extra toppings. Ordered again last night and got the egg pie pizza but the pastrami on the pizza is almost a black color.
