Life is full of pasta-bilities! Let's sauce things up. A home where Italy meet a sports bar. Is the Ambience. But the food portion is amore-zing. A regular slice of pizza feeds two people easily. Ciao down on that. The service was good even got a little bit of a history lesson about the establishment. Pasta La vista baby.

Just dined in here for the first time and man oh man this place only gets better!! When picking up I always notice the inside is pretty packed and the food always looks so great so we decided let's go eat there. We decided to skip pizza and take advantage of the chicken parm deal and a rigatoni dish and these were incredible. The portion of the chicken parm was insane we packed it up to go home with us. The cutlet was juicy, crispy, covered in cheese and sauce, the spaghetti was perfect with a nice tasty meat sauce. The salad to start was also perfect I must add. The sausage and rigatoni dish my wife got was great she had the garlic red sauce and it had such a good kick! The staff is so friendly and the happy hour was great. I really can't believe the daily deals this place puts out it is such a gem!!

This is another neighborhood, Jim I absolutely love and adore. The nightly specials are amazing. Something for everyone. Always super tasty. Their giant pizza by the slice is like getting a small pizza. I enjoy every bite of it! It's small and cozy, but always inviting. The team is always friendly and helpful when I come in the door to pick up my order.

I cannot believe how delicious the pizzas are. I'm not even a pizza fan but we came here with the group, I tried the giant slice vegetarian pizza and my friends pepperoni giant Slice Pizza. I love how the toppings was extremely generous and the pizza crust was crispy and not too thick and doughy like most Pizza places. I was barely able to finish a third of my giant Slice Pizza which was double the size of my hand. The value for the money was incredible. The food was extremely fresh and made to order. Highly recommend trying this place if you are having a pizza craving. You will be very happy.

All you can eat Lasagna with a side of spaghetti, (salad and garlic bread not shown)

Outstanding value and comfort food at its best. I ordered the Sunday special lasagna for $14.50, which came with a side of spaghetti, a dinner salad, and garlic bread, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The lasagna was rich, hearty, and clearly homemade, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked with great sauce, the salad was fresh, and the garlic bread was warm and flavorful. What really stood out was the portion size. This meal easily lasted me three meals, which is almost unheard of at this price point. Quality, quantity, and value all hit the mark. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this Sunday special to anyone looking for a satisfying Italian meal.

Chicken Parm with Penne- diablo sauce.

Solid little spot- mom and pop Italian place with the red and white checkered tables--super cute! We sat in a small booth and it felt cozy, kind of date night vibes, but also a place you could easily bring the kids. Pretty mixed crowd, very chill environment. We got the chicken parm with penne and asked for the spicy diablo sauce instead of marinara--definitely a good choice since we like a little kick. Big portions, everything tasted fresh, and the chicken was nice and crispy under all that sauce and cheese. The garlic toast and salad were simple but good, and the meatballs were actually really solid. Came out to about $44 with tax and tip, which felt more than fair for how much food we got. Nothing fancy, just really good, comforting Italian food and a spot that feels easy to come back to.

    Best salad!

Food was great Service was great Drinks were great Atmosphere was great. This place is always great. Food always hits the spot. Our server CJ was awesome as well. She definitely provided great service. We will come back again... We always do!

Hello Pizza D'Oro! I've returned many times and enjoy the pizza here. Below I'll list some of my most recent orders & their rating. Will return again, love their thin crust! Unknown date: Ordered a thin crust large pizza with pepperoni, half jalapeño, half pineapple - delicious. 6/30 - Large thin crust pizza with pepperoni, onion, half jalapeño & sausage, half pineapple 5/5 - Deep fried mozzarella (small ball of mozz, wrapped in pizza dough, fried) 1/5. Glad I tried it but would never get it again. 2 Meatballs in Sauce 1/5 8/23 - ordered a thin crust again, delicious :)

What time do you close? Tonight I went by to have dinner at 9:22p. You were already closed. Two workers were in there. Sad, you were one of favorites.

They supposedly close at 10 during the week and 11 on Friday and sat.

I'm guessing every table gets the Caesar salad, which was a botttomless pile of fresh lettuce, tons of delicately grated smoothe Parmesan cheese, delicate crumbles of breadcrumbs, with an absolutely decadent Caesar dressing - pleasantly spread throughout the whole entire plate of goodness. Next time I will try the fresh loaf of bread sliced thick with a bowl of cherry tomatoes. Whoa that looked great. Every plate that walked by us whispered 'try me' next time!! Saved the salami Calabrese pizza for home directions on the box which provided the most perfect texture for a reheated pizza we've ever had. Delightful! The pizza. The crust. We were in the Costa Mesa are before we were going to head out back north and my crew wanted to have this deep dish pizza again. What we liked was the crust was so good. It wasn't overly cornmealish like some of these "authentic" Chicago pizza places. I grew up out here in the west, so I'm used to a more flaky light crust. My first Deep Dish Chicago pizza was Zachary's in Berkeley in the Bay Area. This Costa Mesa location is located just south of the 405 at Harbor Blvd. Go to Baker Street and turn left and it's right there. Easy Parking. One thing you gotta know about the deep dish pizzas, they take longer to cook cause they're just so big and need more cooking time, like maybe 35-40 minutes, depending on how busy the kitchen is. We get a classic combo pizza and have some drinks while we wait. It arrives and oh boy does that look good. Dishing it out takes a little practice, but we're good at that now! We tried the buffalo wings while we waited for the pizza. They were perfectly cooked and sauced. Paired with their own ranch, so delicious! We did the traditional 9" pan pizza with only pepperoni. (You just have to keep in mind, the pizzas take approximately 45 min.) The sauce to cheese to toppings ratio was perfect. The cheese pull was soooooo good! We immediately asked the hostess that sat us (literally as we were being handed the menus) for a different table, but were told that wasn't possible. She said all of the tables along that wall "get the draft," so I'm sure we weren't the first to complain. She said she was going to speak to the manager about turning down the fan, and that she'd be right back. She never returned. We were all super cold and uncomfortable and felt we had to rush through the almost $200 meal. The food was good as was the waitress/service but this was not the dining experience we hoped for when we booked dinner to celebrate a special occasion. It was unfortunate that the hostess never came back as promised and the air continued to blow (our hair was visibly moving throughout the meal as if there were a fan directly on us). I understand parts of the restaurant may naturally run differently, temperature wise, but you can't freeze out 3-4 tables of customers! It was just a bummer because we couldn't wait to leave because it was so damn cold. I wish the hostess would have come back or the manager had come over....considering this is a known issue and we were vocal about being very uncomfortable.

(I couldn't order online, because my bank card had fraudulent activity, I was waiting for a new one in the mail, and had to pay cash). So I had to drive to the restaurant to place an order in person. And then sit there and wait for 30 minutes. I asked the girl at the front what was up with their phones, and she stammered through some weird answers (saying they worked in the back but not the front?) before lying to me and saying "our system is down." Also, adding a 3% "happy and healthy" charge (that is NOT gratuity!) to "support our ability to provide sustainable income" automatically added to every bill is SO CHEAP and cringy- PAY YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES. Build into the cost of your food. This place has gone downhill. Food was decent. That's the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one.
