    Calzone

Calzone (pepperoni, banana peppers, mushrooms well done) pick up order. Cut into the center and a rush of wet runny ricotta cheese flowed out with all toppings to the middle. Completely uneatable. Runny Ricotta cheese was all you could taste. This location went downhill. Do not recommend.

I'm at Leo's Pizza now. Service sucks bartenders have no respect for customers is it close this place down?

Leo's is a great place but based on my last few times here's it's been 50/50. One thing I can say is the service is ALWAYS terrible. I went there yesterday with a party of 5. There was only 1 other party in the restaurant and our waitress never came over to our table without being flagged down. It got so bad that I had to ask the bartender 3 times to retrieve the waitress so we could order, get cutlery, and cash out our bill. The food is normally really good, however yesterday the kitchen must have been off, the poutine came out with refrigerated cheese curds on top and soggy fries; as if it had been sitting for too long. The burger I ordered was great and I can always count on them for a great slice! Thank goodness for an awesome bartender yesterday or we would have probably walked out.

Wow! Possibly the worst pizza we've ever ordered. To start with, the super thick dough wasn't fully cooked, this was obvious because there was hardly any cheese or sauce so the bare spots were easy to see. They did put a fair amount of the worst, cheapest tasting pepperoni ever made, on. And a few thin slices of mushrooms. The sauce was super sweet. With so many good pizza places in Buffalo we would definitely not eat here again.

You have to actually go inside the small vestibule area where prima oliva is to see the carpet for pizzeria Florian. I get that they are so busy that they don't need signs but I felt like it was very odd. Also the cleanliness of the floors was a bit of a turn off. Again, I understand they're really busy and just trying to seat people but if you are wiping the tables it would help to sweep the floors too. With all of that aside I actually REALLY loved the pizza! Of course I order the top choices- Calabrian crunch and the cacio e Pepe. Both were absolutely amazing, full of flavor and delicious crisp of the crust. One of the best pizzas in the area, of this style (not traditional Buffalo). The chopped salad was also good and had a great dressing that definitely tasted like a good quality balsamic vinegar. I would highly recommend both for future guests! Staff are fantastic and really work hard to get everyone's orders taken and food out as quickly as possible!

Modernized yet still traditionally styled decor and pictures of the place throughout the years welcomed us in. Another door was a takeout that seemed pretty busy at 4pm on a Saturday. Plenty of parking in this quaint village as well as the parking lot. Warmly greeted and quickly seated with a reservation we made on Open table minutes before we each decided on the Feast with chicken parm, lasagna, and Fettuccini Alfredo. Large portions of each and the Alfredo was more like Cacio e Pepe so cheesy and flavorful. Lasagna was perfect blend or ricotta and sausage like I grew up with, and the chicken parm was tender and the batter held well seasoned flavors. The starters were the caesar salad perfect homemade dressing, and pasta fagioli a tad cool but so good I gobbled it up. Soft fluffy rolls are served with oil and seasoning to tide you over while you wait. Service was impeccable perfect time check for happiness with food, drink refills, and how we were doing as we slowed knowing to go containers would be needed. I highly recommend! Left me phone home so will post pics when I get them from my dining partner.

The restaurant itself is pretty small so it can get packed. As a girl from Michigan I do love ranch, but I was told their Bleu cheese was homemade so I used the bleu cheese and it was delish. I am only reviewing the Beef in Weck, a rare thin sliced roast beef sandwich on a kummelweck roll,…read morewhich has kosher salt and caraway seeds. The top half of the roll often has horseradish spread and it is dowsed with au jus or those are served on the side. The sandwich is local, originating in Buffalo but you can get them in Rochester too. The sandwich comes in three sizes, large, medium and sliders. Choosing the medium, the portion of roast beef was generous. So generous, in fact, that the roll was too small for the sandwich. It was served with au jus to the side and potato chips. The roast beef, allegedly freshly made, tasted clayish. Salt was the dominant flavor, hardly any caraway seed flavor. About half way into the sandwich, I wondered if there was any horsedsdish on the bun. Truly, it was hard to tell, but if there was, it was overwhelmed by the salt along with the caraway. Perhaps there was too much meat for the roll? Lazy caraway seeds? Not enough horseradish? Whatever, it was, at best, disappointing. Now I didn't try anything else and other diners seemed happy plus service was prompt and helpful, the setting friendly and pleasant, so I am reluctant to give two stars but that's actually a more accurate grade for the sandwich. Try the restaurant, but skip the Beef on Weck.
