Called in a pick up order for a large Hawaiian, medium pepperoni and a trip to the salad bar. Was told 20 minutes so I headed to the Factory. I checked in on Yelp, so I got my $2 off the large Hawaiian. I was greeted by the staff and told them my name and was given my container for the salad bar. The salad was so good! They had everything: salad, eggs, cheese, cucumbers, carrots, olives, etc. The ranch was really creamy and delicious as well. The salad bar looked well taken care of and didn't have a bunch of mess around it. Got my pizza shortly after that and it was hot, right out of the oven. The pizza was really good! The Hawaiian was better than the pepperoni, but both were delicious. Will be back when I am back in town! read more

I always get the Big R with anchovies and cheesy breadsticks. Been getting the same thing for years so when I called and they asked me if I wanted the same thing from my last order I said YES! But I wanted a large cheesy bread instead of a medium. They were out of anchovies but ordered anyway. I got my order but came with just plain garlic breadsticks. Quite disappointed with the customer service tonight. This was our first time ordering from Pizza Factory. I ordered and paid online, and my husband went to pick up our order. He was confused when asked to sign for and confirm the amount. When he said, "I thought my wife paid already", the woman said to him "You didn't think you had to pay?" We've frequented this restaurant for years back when it was "Nate's New York Pizza" on Highway 41. In our opinion, both my wife's family and I prefer this new location (along with its new name), mainly because now there's a very good beer selection. The shelves on the west side have a really impressive Belgian/European traditional beer selection with quite a lot of imports (along with local barrel-aged favorites like Seattle's Fremont). In addition to way more space in this old outlet mall, there's also a fantastic beer glass assortment on the east side (e.g. Pilsner, Hefeweizen, Thistle, Tulip, etc.). All-in-all, New York Pizza Dept is doing a great job and worth a stop if you enjoy large pieces of thin crust pizza by the slice! read more

Really disappointed. We came here for the first time a week ago and loved it. We were excited to order to go salads tonight but weren't in the mood for a pizza. We ordered the salads and I'm distracted with my baby as I reach for the tongs a gentleman behind the counter hollers "mama could you please put a glove on" and which time I noticed a sign and completely understood, realizing I wasn't paying attention. I asked another employee if she'd like the tongs back since I touched them before putting them back in the salad bowl, but she said no so I put them back. As I'm putting my glove on I hear from behind the counter something along the lines of "why even order if you're just getting salads." I'm sorry, but I was told we could order to go salads and that it is on your menu. If you feel that way, you should probably keep your comments to yourself. I felt awkward and embarrassed and needless to say we will never be coming back. I know this review and losing our business more than likely won't affect your business, but something needed to be said. read more

What can I say? I dig Pizza Factory. There are pizza kitchens, then there are pizza joints! You have to be able to separate the two different kinds of pizza places. There is the modern-day "wood fired" "Artisan" foo foo pizza kitchen, and then there is the classic 1980's, wood paneling, old booths, giant rear projection TV, pitcher of Coors Light type of pizza parlor. I personally like a down and dirty classic 80's pizza and wing place. Pizza Factory is just that (minus the giant TV). It's a classic, tasty, greasy, arcade game filled parlor. We always dine in, order a couple of pizzas and some wings, and chomp away. I have not had a bad experience to date. Always consistent. Kids love the games. I read a number of the reviews on here and there seems to be a number of complaints about the service. I have no bad service issues to report. Employees have been professional and polite. I would say if anything the service is just neutral, nobody seems real excited about making pizzas. Maybe the fire/love just isn't there anymore. This place would be 5 stars no problem if there was some magic left. I don't know, maybe they need some music or something. However, for now. I would definitely say if you want some great classic pizza hit up Pizza Factory. Ohh, last thought. I like to put Tabasco on my pizza. When I asked, they said they don't have Tabasco. So, if you like hot sauce on pizza, you should bring your own little bottle! read more

Well after I was going to RAVE about this place....we found a hair in our pizza. After my wife discretely told one of the staff, the head cook older gentleman with a beard started to dead eye her. The staff member told him the we would need another pizza he said loud enough for us to hear "WHY". After that everything just became awkward. After calling every pizza place in Post Falls on a Friday eve and finding zero delivery options (weird enough on its own right?) I decided to try pizza factory. The young girl on the phone was very sweet and helpful! A little unsure of herself but endearing. After confirming they had a driver who would deliver to post falls I placed an order for a large 2 topping pizza. The total was $26.01. I found out today there was a $5 delivery charge no one told me about, I also tipped the driver $10 for the effort of coming to post falls. All said, I paid $41 for a large 2 topping. It was hot, timely and yummy. I guess I'm just in shock that I live in a world where a sin gle large pizza delivered 6 miles is $41. Would definitely eat there again, in house though read more

The Pizza Factory in CDA has a lot to learn about discrimination their pizza was good but is over priced. I had people from out of town and take them out for dinner. The servers were great but the person that I believe runs the place was very rude to my company. And when we gone in my car to leave he set off his truck alarm. Not from around here and wanted to try something new. Their website says they close at 9pm but when we walked in at 8, they said they were not seating anymore. Glared at us while we were walking in. They took our order with a nasty attitude. The way they prepped food was literally disgusting. They touch everything and go straight to making pizza. They do not wash their hands, they held raw meat AND cash. I understand when you make pizza you don't use gloves to touch the dough.. but, they touched money and didn't wash their hands BEFORE they touched the dough. Extremely unsanitary. When we asked for a refund, the manager was very rude. Do not recommend going here if you are looking for somewhere to eat. There are tons of other pizza places around... good luck. read more

We reserved an area and paid a deposit for a private room for my granddaughters bday. We called the day of the party at 11am to confirm ourc4:30 reservation. They informed us that we had only 15 minutes to Decorate the room. When we arrived, they said they didn't have our reservation and were short, curt and rude. They weren't listening and we had to repeat the sequence of events TWICE to get the 2 older, rude men to focus. It was then that they told us that they were looking at a different day and we were in fact, on schedule. The private room was unkempt. A smelly vacuum, an empty gateraide bottle, dirty carpet and a mountain of empty supply boxes stacked up in a corner. Disappointed, not welcomed, wouldn't do it again. read more

This place doesn't deserve even one star. The young staff is always nice but the owners are horrible. Being that my parents own a restaurant I hate one sided stories complaining about service but this was INSANE. Just had the most horrible experience at the Pizza Factory in CDA. Not only did the owner basically yell several swear words out in a joking manner while we were standing there with our 5 and 6 year olds but he is so mean and condescending to his staff. Come to find out-- after he belittled a staff member and yelled at her for giving out the wrong to-go box-- it was his daughter. We found this out because my husband spoke up and told the teenage girl she shouldn't allow him to talk to her that way. The owner then proceeded to start yelling at him telling him not to talk to his daughter. My husband remained calm and apologized for not coming directly to him but that he stands for the fact that he shouldn't be yelling at her. The owner then told him they could "take it outside and that it wouldn't be pretty." We were already on our way out and my husband told him he'd be happy to talk to him about it. The owner then followed us out and aggressively got in Josh's face screaming at him to never talk to his daughter again. My husband was very calm and remained respectful as he explained that hes sorry he offended the guy but he isnt ok with how the girl was being treated. I stepped in to tell the owner we have had this experience multiple times here and it is disgusting. We walked away as the owner continued to scream and yell. It was so upsetting to all of us- especially the kids. Never. again. Since then, I have shared this story on FB and got nothing but replies with similar stories and experiences of these owners (2 brothers) treating their staff, especially teenage girls, horribly. read more

Nothing special. Went with a big group, we ordered several pizza with different toppings. Pepperoni was too greasy. The service was not good, they acted like we were an inconvenience for them even though I called ahead. Party was 15 people which is not that many. One person in group tried to order taco with no meat and the guy laughed and said it was a waste of money and wouldn't comply... it was an odd interaction. I love pizza and enjoy trying places but would recommend skipping this place. They do have a private room that's good if you have group of 25 or more.. I wouldn't normally leave bad reviews. I would have excepted a really bad experience and given them a second try. However, after I called the manager I will never eat here again. I ordered a pizza and it was supposed to arrive, delivered, 45 minutes to an hour later. Which I was fine with. An hour and 20 minutes later I called to verify where my pizza is and they tell me that it's been sitting there because it was marked as carry out. I'm annoyed but, fine, I'll let it go. they show up an hour and a half later with my pizza and it has cheese on it. I specifically told them not to put cheese on it because we are dairy intolerant. It's a dietary issue not a preference. Now it's 730 and I still don't have dinner. I tell them to cancel the order and refund me. I kept the pizza that they did deliver correctly for my children, and my husband and I made food from our house. 20 minutes later they show up with my pizza. Then they want to charge me. I was furious and the manager would not do anything to make this entire evening right. They should have allowed me to have the medium pizza free and apologized. However, they voided my original transaction so that they could still charge me for the medium pizza I kept. I don't have a problem paying for what I order, but after all of the ordeal, I felt they owed the free medium pizza. Now I will never step foot in this business again. Don't order from Pizza Factory if you want your food to come in a timely manner. We've order from them a few times and it's taken 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to get to us!!! We don't live far from the restaurant and when we called to complain we got an excuse that their drivers were all out delivering, the weather is bad and it takes longer to get to customers. Honestly, not our problem. As a business if you know the weather is an issue in North Idaho you should hire more drivers! It's not rocket science. As I write this we are STILL waiting for our dinner and ordered it almost 1.5 hours ago!! Customer service is terrible, our pizza finally arrived and it's cold! If the customer service was at least decent I would give it five stars. Probably the best pizza in town. I get pepperoni with light sauce or no sauce. The bomb! I'll give it a three stars because the customer service sucks! Sometimes you can tell who the manager or owners are just by the way they look. Normally in the back making pizza etc. There is zero interaction. I mean even when they're passing by you they don't make eye contact or say hello. I own my own business. It's all about customer service. If you're delivering a good product and making people feel welcome and comfortable then your business will thrive. The employees interactions are better but still have room to improve. I will probably not go back because I've given them the benefit of the doubt. But of course, it happens every single time.
