My order: ⁣Cup & Crisp Pepperoni Duo⁣ Street Taco Flatbread⁣ Cheezee Bacon Rolls⁣ ⁣ What's your favorite pizza topping? ⁣ If there's a kind of pepperoni I enjoy, it's the cup and crisp kind! And Pizza Guys has perfected it! ⁣ As for the flatbread, literally think of a street taco but flat! This featured item also comes with a complimentary cute lil hot sauce. Taco Tuesday has a new buddy! ⁣ The Cheese Bacon Rolls-- oh my goodness; I should have ordered more! They were amazing!!! The dough was soft, fluffy and cheeeezeeeee! The bacon adds that extra crisp and mmmyummy to it! We brought our food to the park, (the one near the school, I forgot the name lol!), so if you need picnic food- go to PIZZA GUYS!

Delicious gourmet pizzas at a price point that can meet every budget and prepared and baked in mere minutes, Pizza Guys is a welcome addition to the Berkeley fast casual/ budget dining scene. Located on the corner of University and San Pablo Avenues in a building that once housed Little Caesars and now has gotten a major upgrade thanks to this new franchise that recently opened. I am so pleased that the owner Ali Vahdat decided to expand his horizons and open his first of planned two franchise locations of Pizza Guys. A location that is perfect for not only Berkeley locals, but college students and faculty alike. I had the opportunity to originally check out the pizzas thanks to a special event that they hosted when they originally opened months ago and I was so impressed with the two pizza pies that I ordered, not to mention how fast I was able to pick them up, I immediately decided to make a return visit a mere months later to order another pizza pie and their new item on their menu that was calling my name. Pizza Guys byline is "Home of the Specialty Pizzas" and they weren't kidding about that as they have no fewer than thirteen pizzas on their Specialty Pizza menu, including versions of an Impossible Pizza. I personally stay with the tried and true and order a small 10 inch Pizza Guys Combo pizza and their new Cheezee Bacon Rolls. Calling in my order was super easy as owner Vahdat took my order and said it would be ready in fifteen minutes for pick up. It turned out to be a much shorter wait than expected, as the nice thing is that once they take your cell phone number after you order, they text you updates as your pizza is ready for pick up. Thankfully, it didn't take too long for me to drive to University Avenue as the only thing was the traffic on the corner of University and San Pablo Avenues, but again thankfully there is a huge parking lot behind the building that houses Pizza Guys, which in Berkeley, complimentary parking is nothing short of a miracle. Pick up from their small store was super easy, as my pizza and rolls were ready for pick up and nicely being stored in one of the warmers they have near their counter area. My pizza was 17 dollars and the Bacon Rolls were 11 dollars, and although the rolls, which to be quite honest weren't super affordable, I was still so happy I bought them as they were rolled goodness with plentiful amounts of bacon and mozzarella combined with rolled pizza dough. My Pizza Guys Combo pizza featured fresh-made dough, whole-milk mozzarella cheese, and a sauce made with fresh-packed, California-grown tomatoes, all topped with pepperoni, sausage, green bell peppers and olives. Once I returned home, both my pizza and rolls were still warm to the touch and each slice and roll was full of flavors thanks to the quality ingredients that each item contained. Thankfully the rolls received a complimentary container of ranch dressing for dipping which only added to the flavor. And despite it only being a 10 inch pizza my party of three people with whom I shared this lunch with, had enough food for two servings that covered two lunches. The fact that they managed to open this location of Pizza Guys in the current situation we find ourselves in is even more remarkable. Pizza Guys even implemented tamper-proof packaging, contactless delivery, cashless payments ,and has even put up sneeze guards in all of their stores. And this goodwill seems to be transferred to their staff as well, as the both times I went, they seemed to have a lot of pizza makers and front counter personnel to serve you, as you are in and out, and hopefully they are able to take advantage of the complimentary pizza they are currently promising their staff to get them through these harrowing days/ months/ years ahead of us. Because when the tough gets going, the tough eat pizza and at Pizza Guys in Berkeley they have a number of affordable options, with plenty of coupons to take advantage of as well, which makes the worlds of affordability and deliciousness possible at Pizza Guys in Berkeley.

Got the Cheezee bacon rolls and they were delicious! Super fresh and looked like they hand rolled each one. The outside layer was like a soft pizza dough that perfectly complemented the moist, cheesy inside. There was a perfect balance of bacon, cheese and bread and with the addition of ranch, it was even better. Had leftovers the next day and popped it in the toaster oven and they were still awesome. Prob the best appetizers I've had from a pizza place.

    The advertised pizza price...

Very shady practices, on the menu board it said the pizza guys combo was 24 dollars and they charged me 26 dollars, making up the excuse that you needed to have a coupon to get the on-menu price, will not be coming back here. Neither should you, very unprofessional and super disappointed

I had the honor to attend a Yelp Elite event for this new location in Berkeley. Parking is fairly easy, located off of University Avenue in Berkeley which can be a really busy street but there's street metered parking (ends at 6pm) right in front and you can turn in and there's a parking lot close to the 99 cents store and Subway. I was coming from Vallejo so I called before heading out there and it was so easy, I was greeted by a friendly worker, Daniel who was very thorough when taking my order and was very clear. I easily made my order over the phone, I ordered a large pizza, half combo and half pepperoni. I also got the 12 piece sweet bbq chicken wings with ranch. He said that it would take 15-20 minutes and I also received text messages that my order was ready. It was easy to pick up and I was worried they would be busy because of the yelp event but it was all ready by the time I got there. They take card and they have plexi glass up in front with openings wide for the pizza. I'm sure delivery shouldn't be hard either. The pizza and chicken were amazing and all at a decent cost.

Good quality. A massive upgrade over Little Caesars. The prices are higher than I usually pay for pizza unless it's Zachary's. Some coupons for Pizza Guys via mail and their website. I live close by so I'll check them out more often

Everything is so satisfactory to me! The man who handed me the pizza and wings was so gentle and friendly. His smile lit up my tiring day. The pizza guy combo is full of meet and covered with nice vegetables. I also ordered 8 wings for two different flavor. The spicy BBQ and lemon pepper are both so good.

    Large Pepperoni Pizza

This is my go to pizza spot in the Berkeley area due to the quality and price! I always order a Large pepperoni pizza and it never disappoints. They are reasonable priced compared to other pizza shops and the save/cheese bread ratio is solid. In addition to this they always make pizzas ready within 15-20 mins max so they are quick. Lastly the nice thing is they always leave you with in additional coupons on your pizza box for next time.

I first tried this place through a yelp event and really liked the pizza I got. I had a half half Tuscan chicken and Serrano chili pizza. Pizza had a nice crisp thin crust with plenty of toppings. They didn't skimp on the pineapple, bacon, or fresh tomatoes. I'd order pizza from them again. Today I ordered their mango habanero wings and the cheezee bacon rolls. The wings were a bit on the small side but still good. They were tender and not dry. The sauce isn't really spicy to me. It was more sweet with a slight kick. Buffalo sauce might be even spicier! Now the rolls... they were amazing!! Garlicky and bacon-ey and cheesy.. mmm mmm! They had a nice chew and just the perfect crispness around the edges. Highly recommend those! I also ordered online for pick up and it was really easy. I scheduled the time and I got a text when it was ready. Super easy. The people inside were also really friendly. Storefront is small and there's no place to sit either. All the food is kept inside their heating bags when they're ready too. Parking isn't too difficult since there's a parking lot in the back for the dollar store. It's just kind of sketchy in that area. There's a lot of people just hanging out outside there but they seem to mind their own business.

San Francisco has great places to eat pizza. There is a pizza parlor for each neighborhood. Having…read moretried the majority of the pizza spots in San Francisco I decided to go to Berkeley. The city of Berkeley has brought good pizza recently to San Francisco like Rose Pizzeria. Going to Berkeley I have experienced great pizza places which are not located in SF. Berkeley has some great pizza places such as the Cheeseboard , Pizzeria da Laura and for the best Chicago style pizza at Zachary's Pizza ( actual fresher ingredients than most of Chicago )which both have no locations in SF. There a different pizza spot in Berkeley which serves fresh pizza with local ingredients and there is no spot in SF and it's called Sliver pizza. On a Summer day stroll in the sun in Berkeley I landed at the Telegraph Avenue. Inside there are plenty of seating and they do not accept cash. I ordered their POD also known as Pizza Of the Day. It had the Mushroom, red onions, green scallions , and it had a lemon zest which was sour like some in SF. It was a little cheesy and the sourdough crust was soft. It was tasty and you can taste the field to table ingredients in the pizza. They also have interesting pizza like the Cherry Corn Pizza like I saw on my social media feed. When in Berkeley you must try Sliver Pizzeria. Go to Berkeley for this is a "must" because they have a sourdough "crust" is a "plus" it's not too cheesy and very delicious and leaves some pizza places in SF in the "dust" This pizza place is to eat inside , pick up, and they do "deliver" I rate it more on gold standard side than "silver" fresh ingredients from the "Salinas River" at a pizza place in Berkeley on Telegraph called "Sliver"

I went last week and they had a summer corn pizza that was loaded with juicy kernels of corn, fresh tomatoes and peppers, plus a ton of parsley for garnish. I am a corn fan so I knew I'd like this flavor. And I wasn't disappointed. Sauce: Sliver could even be more well known for its sauces. You have to try the green sauce! Perfect blend of savoriness, freshness, and a kick of heat! Location: right off the Berkeley BART station, This shop is super easy to transit to whether you're taking bus or the bart. Lots parking nearby too. Bathroom: maybe I just went too early in the day before the employees had time to clean up the bathroom, but it had no toilet paper, no seat covers, no paper towels, and the hand soap was simply in a cup that you had to dip your fingers into... kinda sus? Overall I'll definitely be going back because sliver become so popular because of their incredible pizzas and not their bathrooms!

It has some outdoor seating but the star is the downstairs area. We were a bigger party, and were able to snag a last minute reservation for 8 people in the much more casual upstairs space. The downstairs is smaller, but very mid-century modern classy with a great wooden bar, perfect for date night. Back to the pizza: It's really good. The pepperoni is delicious. We also went with a speciality pie with cured meats, arugula and hot honey and it was truly a great pizza. They offer a variety of crusts - NY style, Detroit, Sicilian and Grandma. I only tried NY style and it was so good but the others look decadently good. Prices are similar to other pizza spots, so you're paying $28-35ish for a large. They do have small available, as well. Overall, a really great downtown Berkeley spot. Great pizza, great for families, and while space is somewhat limited, it's still great for groups.
