Normally, Hector's Pizza is my go-to pizza place, but I had the chance to try Pizza Guys tonight and was not disappointed. For a chain restaurant, the pizza was not bad! Much better than Domino's, Little Caesar's or Round Table. Although they do not use sourdough for their pizzas like Hector's, it was still a very good pizza. The service and staff was friendly and efficient. I walked in, ordered, and was leaving with my large pizza within 20 minutes. Not bad! The restaurant is pretty small, and seems like it's mainly a place for take out or delivery; although they did have a few high bar seats for dine-in. I thought the pizza was flavorful, crust was medium-not too thick and doughy and not too thin, and perfect amount of toppings. I ordered the Garlic Lovers and enjoyed the white garlic sauce, as opposed to the usual marinara most places do. I will be back in a couple months to see if the pizzas remain just as good and quality maintains! Fun addition to this pizza place-the ice cream selection they have! New pizza place located in Petaluma. Ordered a large combo, and medium pepperoni to take home. Lots of choices of sauces (reg, bbq, hot n spicy, etc),crusts, and of course toppings. Staff was friendly, and pizza was ready when I arrived. The pizza was pretty good, and for the price point, better than most of it's competitors. We had a great opportunity to try this new pizza place as part of a Yelp Elite pizza party at home event. We got a half BBQ Chicken and half Creamy Pesto Chicken pizza on Tuscany crust and a garden salad. The pizza was very tasty. The Tuscany crust is thinner than their regular crust. Crispier with a corn meal coated bottom, but still with plenty of chew. We really like both halves and ate way more than we should have. My only critique would be to have more sauce on the pizza. Next time I'll definitely ask for that. The salad was very fresh and included bell pepper, onion, olive, and cheese. It was large enough to get 3 good size helpings or 4 slightly smaller ones. The store is pretty small and mostly a take-out establishment, but there are a couple of small tables if you want to dine in. The staff were very pleasant and well trained. Overall this was a great experience. The pizza is way higher quality than the budget pizza places, while staying cheaper than the premium places. Good food to go without breaking the bank. read more

We were stoned, and it was bad. If pizza is bad STONED then it's... pretty bad. I ordered over the phone and received super friendly service. While they have many specialty flavors to choose from, I went with my old favorite toppings: pineapple, pepperoni and mushrooms. Navigating the parking lot was a bit tricky since it was my first time, but I found Pizza Guys hiding behind a healthy tree. Pick up was quick and easy with friendly assistance. Nothing like bringing home pizza that looks and smells amazing. I'm picky when it comes to pizza. I live near many pizza places in Sonoma, but none of them taste this good. Every slice of this pizza was perfect! The dough wasn't too thin, too thick, too dry or too greasy - it was great!! Good amount of sauce and cheese - not too much and not too light. I walked in and I was instantly greeted by everyone big smiles. And it wasn't fake it all I could tell they were really enjoying themselves. I had a discussion with the manager about changing up a Hawaiian pizza what could I do to make it better. She recommended that with the Canadian bacon, pineapple and the ham today, add regular bacon crumbled over it. Perfect. What a great idea. The crust of the pizza is just the right thickness it's fairly thin and well perforated for even Rising. There are certainly plenty of toppings but the thing I was tasting was the marinara sauce. Really nice job. I asked and it turns out they have it especially made for their pizzas. Way to go. Interiors are modest but functional. I believe that most of the business is going to be take-out. Aside from the pizzas they have a full range of other things like artisan flatbreads, create your own pizza, desserts, salads, pasta salads, chicken wings, cheese breads, and all sorts of fun stuff. I'm not a fan of chain pizza places because there are so many bad ones. This is a good one! How good? Dangerously good! I picked up the pizza to take home and had a slice because it smelled good. It tasted so good I decided to have another... and then I said to myself, "Just one more to take the edge off your hunger...". Then when I drove away, there was a car in front of me so I thought, "Oh, one for the road! This guy is going to wait an eternity at that stop sign." I had the ever famous "combo" with all the meat. There was nothing lacking from this beautiful pizza. It was one of those in which you open the box and say, "Wow!". I especially liked that I could taste the yeast from the dough and the little bits of fresh garlic on the pizza. Nice job Pizza Guys! This location of Pizza Guys is right next to Leghorn's Park. Seems like an easy lunch to order your pizza at Pizza Guys and stroll over to Leghorn's to enjoy it... or possibly drive to Petaluma Brewery. Pizza Guys is really a take out place - though they have two tables if you insist on eating there. I notice their website has a very nifty way to register yourself and order pizzas "online". If I lived near a Pizza Guys - I would certainly order this way rather than the "phone-in" to avoid the being "on hold". The staff were friendly and appreciated that I was there. Once I told them my name they made a point to remember and when I left one of the women smiled said, "Enjoy your pizza Steve!" I liked that! That little detail of hearing my name impressed me. As a Yelp Elite I had the opportunity to try Pizza Guys. I checked the menu out online and found they make it very easy to place your order right online and choise to either pick it up or have it delivered. Great for those families on the go. I called my order in for pick up. I got there at the twenty mintue mark and found that my pizza was waiting for me and kept waem in a holding warmer. Nice hot pizza just the way it should be. The store is very nice with a few tables for eating in. I like thst its walking distsnce to the Leghorn Park, nice for picnicing. I love the white garlic sauce and thin crust. My two favorite things! Great pizza and great customer service. I can't wait to go back and try a few more items on the menu. They even made that easy for me with a couple of grand opening coupon specials. read more

Tonight we ordered pizza from Pizza Guys in the old G& G Center. I ordered online and the total was $29.21. My husband picked up the pizza and gave me the receipt and I saw they charged him $33.21. After we ate I went to the shop to question it and was told that their online system sometimes has problems and doesn't charge the right amount. The clerk told me that I actually should have paid more. I told him that it wasn't right to quote one price and then change it. He kept telling me that their system had a problem. I stood my ground and told him if I had known the pizza was going to be $33.21, I wouldn't have ordered it. He finally gave me the $4 that I was overcharged. This seems like a fraudulent way to do business. Watch out if you go to Pizza Guys. The pizza was good, but I don't patronize businesses that do questionable business practices. read more

Petaluma location is the WORST I order Artichoke Fiesta got home and it didn't look anything like the picture, it was missing half of the items, I called the store talked to this employee who said bring back the pizza and we'll make another one. At the store I was given another box with no apologies and when I asked to at least offer me an apology I told that I had an attitude and that they are just minimum wage employees. Our new favorite pizza! Although there are lots of great pizzas, this is the most affordable pizza in town that actually tastes good. Having a large family with some requiring gluten free usually makes pizza night expensive. However with the coupons at pizza guys we can get both a regular and gluten free pizza for under $30. This pizza guys has fresh and great tasting pizza. My wife is not a pizza person, when she tried a slice of the BBQ chicken she was hooked. She proceeded to get a slice of each of the pizzas we had gotten. I have never seen her enjoy pizza so much. My kids love pizza and asked when we would get pizza from here again. Great quality and tasty pizzas. Had to try those cheesee bacon rolls, they were bomb! I normally don't leave reviews, but what made me write one for this location is the customer service. I used used a coupon for my order, or at least I thought I did. Online didn't notify me it didn't take it since my card info and everything was already on there. Just took the order and when I went to pick up was disappointed. They were able to fix it right away. That to me means a lot.
