This is Taco Bell /Pizza Hut hybrid joint. It would be nice if you could order both places on a single register, but you can't. If you want pizza, you gotta stand in the pizza line. If you just happen to want a chalupa or a taco you better hope the Taco Bell line isn't too long because you have to go to that side of the line, which is right next to the Pizza Hut register , to order. Kind of irritating. Plus, if you dine in, you'll have to deal with the uncleanliness of the place. There's food all over the floor which no one seems to come to clean it up. They have enough staff to send some one to clean up the dining area. C'mon this is a good establishment. How hard is it to keep it clean, especially if they're not too busy. Apparently pizza hut has a option were if the customer ask for service, they tell em that the location closes to you is close so no one will deliver to you. Either drive down and put the order in and wait or don't get any pizza from them at all. So I tried the app and the app crash 3 times and on the 4th try it waited till I was done with the order and paid, then crashed. Pizza hut has fallen so far that I hope they get shut down during the pandemic cause I won't miss pizza hut at all.1 out of 10 I wouldn't suggest or even bother considering anything from them. Usually, I'm all for a Pizza Hut pizza, but lately, especially tonight, it's just been a BIG disappointment. I did the online ordering, which I must say was very easy to do and my order was correct and it was ready for pick up when I got to Kahala Mall - only problem is that the pizza SUCKED BALLS!!! First off - on any pizza, I believe cheese is a big part of it - but I swear there was hardly any cheese on this damn pizza - so much exposed dough. I haven't had a pizza from Pizza Hut in years where you have to pull the cheese away from each bite because there's hardly any fricken cheese!! Secondly - I ordered a Meat Lover's pizza, but I think the person making it must have something against meat because it was more like a "I-think-this-pizza-is-supposed-to-have-meat" pizza. That's right - hardly any meat or cheese!!! The part that blew me away the most is that while I was picking up my order, this older lady came by and had to tell them how great their pizza was - in comparison to the Hawaii Kai shop...how sad is that... However - since my son really enjoys their meaty marinara pasta, I will be returning - and I hope with all my heart that they don't mess with that recipe anytime soon, which is why I gave the two stars... I've had bad service before here at Kahala Mall Pizza Hut / Taco Bell & having them closing up and not taking orders 20 mins before closing. I mean if you really want to close earlier update your closing times. But I have mostly had good experiences here. However, last night I went to grab some pizza at Pizza Hut and guess what, no Parmesan cheese or crushed peppers packets. You need to now purchase $.99 shakers. What the hell. Bad decision on the part of the Owner/Management. What cost you cents to offer, you will now lose my customer $$$. My family and I will not be going to Pizza Hut anymore and be going to Papa John's. I don't usually write reviews, but I've never had to wait so long for a personal pan pizza, and then get told by a supervisor, "is there anything else I can help you with? My Brother is a manager at another Pizza Hut Location in Hawaii, sadly for him, he won't here the end of it from me. I waited over 30 minutes for a personal pan pizza, only to find out it was ready for the last 15 minutes. The young girl that had taken my order went to the back to talk with her supervisor, I know how it is, when you made a mistake, send in the reinforcements to save you. Another worker and the supervisor had to ask me what my order was, after I had given my name, did they lose the receipt? If I got an apology, I think I would have dealt with it, but for them to brush it off as nothing happened, I did not appreciate. I'm giving a 1/5 star because I can't give a 0/5. On Saturday evening, for the first time I ordered a 2 topping pizza and wings online. (I usually call it in), It told me about 1 hour with delivery. Ok, it was 7 pm so we should have the food by 8 pm. 7:30 pm I am told by text my food was out for delivery. Ok....getting excited. 8:05 pm. Nothing yet...... It has hit the one hour mark, so I called Pizza Hut asking where is the food?? "The driver was running late, maybe 5 or 10 more minutes." So by 8:15 pm I can expect it?? Fast forward to 8:35pm, just getting the food. Then I am handed a one topping pizza, no wings. "Where are the wings and the right pizza I ask"? Sorry, wrong order. So if I hadn't had ordered wings, which I realized were not given to me, I could had been given the wrong pizza after sooooo long waiting. Domino's is moving into the neighborhood, and I think its time to try someone new for pizza. I was told they are busy on Saturday's after saying something to the driver, but for the price, (32.00) unreasonable wait is all I can think. I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut, Kahala Mall location on 12/22/2022. They used Door Dash to deliver the pizza. I receive a text message from Door Dash saying my pizza was on it's way. We waited outside our house but they never showed up. Kelly from Door dash texted a picture of pizza on someone's porch (not mine) stating that pizza was delivered. I tried to contact Door Dash to no avail. I tried to contact Kahala Pizza Hut but was routed to a call center who could not reach the store or Door Dash. I never received my order. The person at the call center told me my credit card would be credited. I have made calls to Pizza Hut call center, Door Dash and Pizza Hut cooperate office. I have made more than 20 calls and put on hold many times. This is 12/29/2022 and I have not received a credit. There is no way you can contact someone if your order does not arrive. Then, another 10 minutes trying to get them to understand the delivery address. After 30 minutes on the phone ordering, they told me it would be an hour delivery. This is usually my go to pizza delivery location (for over 15 years) since it was the only one that would deliver to my house. But today was horrible. I ordered two pizzas and a drink with the estimated delivery time at about 20-30minutes. (Online order) maybe about five minutes later I get a call from the delivery driver she leaves me a voice message in regards to my order saying there's an incident with the delivery driver etc. so I call that number back and a woman answers and I tell her the situation. She tells me no the pizza should be coming to your house within the delivery time. And they must be changing drivers or have another driver delivering it. So I wait an hour, still no pizza. I call the number again a man answered the phone. Told him my situation this time he calls the driver. And he finds out for me that this location has no delivery today. Okay.. so literally wasted my time waiting for something that wasn't even coming to my house. So I ask what am I supposed to do? He responds with I can go pick it up? Okay here's the thing I ordered this pizza an hour ago for delivery wouldn't you think they would call or something to be like hey sorry but the situation is yada yada and we have your pizza ready. NOPE. Nothing. Literally complete waste of time. I got my refund and that's it. The driver should have left more detail in the message she left me on my voice message and at least the number to their actual store instead of the general line that gets picked up by anyone?? Because obviously the first woman had no clue as to what was going on which caused me to end up waiting and leaving my family hungry. Or at least have someone at the store getting back to the online orders and how there is no deliveries. Like literally I'm not going to order from pizza hut again. I ordered 4 pizzas (two pepperoni and two cheese) from Kahala Pizza Hut for my school class party. The order was placed at 10am and was supposed to be here at 12:15pm. We told Pizza Hut to call our teacher DIRECTLY, which did not happen. We were waiting for the pizza and received a call from our school office, NOT THE DELIVERY SERVICE, that the pizza delivery guy was here. He came around 15 minutes late (approximately 12:32 pm). When we got the pizza delivery, the total came out to $50.73 and we left a $10 tip, understandable since it was for a class party. When we came to the classroom with the pizzas, we did not shake them around or purposely damage the pizzas yet it came disoriented. Slices were twisted and the pizza was not fully together and it was not hot, it tasted like it's been sitting for way too long. I'm very unsatisfied, no, angry that the pizza turned out like this despite being ordered at 10am OPENING TIME. I will not be purchasing from Pizza Hut Kahala and neither should you. The operation doesn't appear dirty or anything, but their organization is in shambles. I ordered carryout from Pizza Hut for reasons of childhood nostalgia. Upon arriving, the cashier went to look for the pizza, couldn't find it, then called his delivery person and berated him over the phone for taking my order. Five minutes later, the delivery man walked back in and pulled out a pizza. It wasn't my pizza, so he berated the cashier for accusing him of screwing up and throwing him off his delivery timing. The people are friendly but not enough to make me want to come and eat pizza hut each week. Maybe I'm just lucky, but every time I come here there isn't a line. Usually I order online to pick up, but today I decided to dine in since I'm on my lunch break. I asked what personal pans were already made- they said cheese, pepperoni, and supreme. I got a supreme and since it was already maid I expected a stale crust with hard cheese. Again, maybe I'm lucky, but my crust was buttery and crispy with the cheese ooooey and gooey as if it just came out of the oven. I was also pleasantly surprised and almost tempted to get two one-topping personal pans which only cost $6.99! Absolutely the worst customer service anywhere! I took two children to Pizza Hut at Kahala Mall at 4:20 pm. No employee was in sight. Three cheese personal pan pizzas were the only thing in the bin. The kids were hungry. I waited at the counter several minutes and could see someone in the back room and tried to wave at her. Finally I banged on the door several times. 05/26/16 NEGATIVE STARS!!! TERRIBLE service tonight.. all I wanted to do was pick up my order that I'd already PAID for.. it's the whole reason I ordered on line.. I waited almost 10 minutes (after the time my order was promised to be done) while the"team member" took care of someone else.. All the while my order is sitting there, NOT IN THE WARMING HOLDER, getting cold! They're right there where they usually have the personal pan pizzas and I haven't even been acknowledged yet, not even an "I'm sorry, I'll be right with you" something, anything would have made me less angry.. Prices were decent, but the pizza was sub-par. I'd also complain about the fact that they got our order wrong, but A) It was recorded improperly by the central routing service, not the local pizza hut, and B) After noticing their error, we were given the incorrectly constructed pizzas for free. Our "Hawaiian" pizzas had inordinately distributed pieces of meat, amounting to approximately 1-3 small, thin pieces of ham per slice. Unforgivable. Rarely do we experience exceptional customer service anymore and I would like to thank Miss Nina S. (Pizza hut driver) who was absolutely wonderful and although mistakes happen, Nina made every effort to rectify the situation. A 48 piece of wings order was forgotten and while the manager on duty gave us a cookie and a brownie, it was Nina who made us feel heard and appreciated as customers. Probably the worse Pizza Hut I've been to hands down. First of all, I'm not blaming the manager or the staff. I think this one has to go on corporate and here's why. It seems like their system is broken. You put an order in for carry out and they tell you twenty minutes. So you drive down to the location after 30 minutes and your pizza still isn't ready. Like really? What's going on with that. Then you plop down and you sit and wait. 10 minutes goes by, still no pizza. That's a total of 40 minutes from the time you ordered to the time you're checking your phone to see how much time has passed. Then you keep waiting and notice other people are backed up waiting like you are. So really what's the problem here. Is it the ovens in the back? Is it because they're understaffed I'm the kitchen? Then you overhear the front cashier attendant telling someone that's the pizza from another party was burnt backing everything up. Well now I know the next time I do return to this Pizza Hut, I have remember to bring a current coupon for the buy one personal pan pizza and get one free offer. I was very disappointed that they wouldn't let me use the older coupons because I had no problems in the past of using it but when I went in just to take some photos, I was told not to take any photos..and I was like was there a sign saying that I am not allowed to take photos. I was also disappointed that my the debit card transaction was used 2xs and I was like hello, I have funds in there..so I hope the next time I do return the cashier will be a little bit more friendly and not just rude and other things so that way I can enjoy my meal and I hope that they do inform guests that photos are not allowed because there's no sign posted so that way people will remember. read more

All you have to do is read the other reviews on the right side of this site-page and you can see that I am not alone in my disgust with this restaurant. It's really bad. We live less than five minutes from it. The first time we ordered one to be delivered, it took them an hour and the pizza was cold. We figured, 'Well, it may have been a bad night for them.' And we left it at that. Last night at 5:39 we ordered another pizza from them, thinking we should get it by about 6:15PM. At 6:30 the delivery girl called us and said she was ten minutes away. Thirty minutes later she called to say she was here. So, at 7PM I went out to her car. She was on her phone and the pizza box was on the hood of her car. I opened it and found that the pizza was stone-cold and limp as a wet piece of paper. I told her I wanted her to drive the 4 minutes back to the Hut and bring us back a hot pizza and it should only take her about 20 minutes if she called the restaurant now and then just went and got it. She said that was impossible and started to get in her car. I took my money back and shoved the pizza back to her. I was having a low-blood sugar attack by this time and went in to nuke a Stauffer's frozen food. As it cooked I called the Pizza Hut at Kahala Mall and began my tirade. Tonight I ordered the pizza sliders 9 pieces and I tell you I really should've just ordered a regular pizza. All 9 sliders probably add up to 3 slices of pizza. I mean for $12 I could've got a Costco pizza with their huge Caesar salad. But oh well I was too lazy to drive today. 10 piece chicken wings for $7.99 ordered the garlic parm and I can tell you there's more oil drippin off them wings then there is sauce.
