Don't be a jerk and order from this place. On a recent vacation with two other couples we decided to order pizza. After reading other reviews on yelp everyone raved about the garlic knots. We all grew up in New York/ Long Island where there is some good pizza and knots. So we ordered. The knots are tiny, dry and over cooked. Anyone who says there good has never had a good knot. My wife, my 2 year old and I went there for dinner last night. It had pretty good reviews and the pizza, itself, was not bad -- not over the top awesome but pretty good. However, the service experience -- OMG. It was beyond bad. I think the idea behind this place (I understand it's a chain) is that it's supposed to be sort of skate-board-punk cool or something like that. The people behind the counter averaged about 18 years of age and their customer skills were completely devoid. They didn't get my simple pizza order right (forgot the pepperoni) and, of course, by the time it arrived I wasn't interested in waiting another 20 minutes for the corrected pie. I didn't even argue over the price -- I simply wrote the place off as DO NOT RETURN. For someone who eats a lot of NYC pizza, the pizza here at this not so fancy pizza parlor, surprisingly exceeded my expectations, so I definitely endorse their storefront advertisement of "New York style pizza". And if my toddler can eat a whole slice of their pizza, then even more reason they passed with flying colors in our book. We ordered for takeout, so for additional tips, there's a Price Chopper grocery right next door and a wine/liquor store another few steps away. I am so embarrassed! I met my Sister in Lake George for a nice family weekend and suggested Pizza Jerks. We ordered a cheese pizza, an arugula pizza, and boneless wings. I told them how good I thought the pizza was last time I had it. The pizza was so plain and dry it tasted like a frozen pizza and the boneless wings were not even edible! The bonesless wings tasted like mush. DISGUSTING! COme on...wtf? I know you can do better! If We had eat at the restaurant I would have complained, unfortunately we took it back to our hotel so it would be more trouble then it was worth to complain. Next time I will know better. read more

Yikes..... this place is unlike any other I've experienced. We (me, a friend, and our combined 3 kiddos) are visiting the lake george area to break up the winter by enjoying a little indoor waterpark fun. Checked in to our hotel at 5, went on Yelp and fell in love with the menu. Called to place our order at 5:12. 2 specially pizza, a salad, and garlic knots. Was told 45-60 minutes for delivery. After 90 minutes I called and was told my order was out for delivery and would be arriving shortly. After 2.25 hours I called back.... asked to speak with a manager. She asked if I lived locally and when I told her no she responded with "sorry, unless you live nearby there's nothing I can do. If you'd like a credit toward your next order then ok but since you're not local I'm sorry. Your order is out for delivery and it will get there when it gets there." The driver arrived shortly afterward with our food.... which was delicious despite being colder than the arctic. Horrible way to run a business. Never again. read more

Arrived on a Friday evening, restaurant was not busy at all. However, they were out of every single vegetarian option. I only learned of Pizza Jerks about two years ago, despite visiting Lake George many, many times. They are located only about a block off 'the strip' but the difference between them and the seasonal places on RT9 is night and day. Pizza Jerks makes a really great pizza. Their ingredients and toppings are high quality, and their crust is excellent. The crust is not exactly NYC-thin, but it is still crisp and delicious. They are definitely more of an 'order a whole pie' place than a 'single slice' place, but they have usually have a small number of slices available to heat up. They make all sizes, so even if you're by yourself, you'd be much better off ordering a small pizza here than a couple slices from a place on the strip. The Supreme is my favorite! The dining area is really casual, seat-yourself with a couple TVs, and a few arcade games in the room. It's never very loud, though. They have a list of craft beers available if that's your thing. They are open all year, even during the mostly-deserted winter months (when even the Lake George McDonalds closes!) My only complaint is that their staff seems to always underestimate the wait times. They'll say 15-20 minutes, and it might be double that. I'm not sure if they are giving priority to the takeout/delivery orders... but this can be annoying. Of course, it completely depends on when you're visiting. On one particularly busy night, they brought out garlic knots for free because they realized it was taking longer than expected. This is only a minor complaint, because their pizza is worth the wait. I've been back probably twenty times, and I'll never go to any other pizza place in Lake George! read more

The food was great. I loved the pizza and I'm still thinking about the buffalo knots. Prices were fine as well. The only reason they aren't getting five stars is that the person on the phone wasn't super friendly and delivery took 90 minutes! They told me on the phone it would take that long so I was aware but still, it would be great if they could figure out a way to add drivers or something to lower the delivery time. If i could give this place a zero i would....after being told our pizza would be ready in 45 minutes, we ended up waiting an hour and a half, only to receive cold pizza. Both the pizza and cheesy bread we ordered were ice cold when we received them. After receiving the cold pizza, we called the store and tried to explain the situation only to have the employee on the phone make excuses about the situation, saying they left a half an hour earlier than they did, rather than help the situation and try and come to a solution. On the phone the employee told us "they are hiring" when we said we were unhappy with their service. This is the best pizza I've had in a while, and definately in Lake George. We got a small pie and buffalo knots; both great! Pizza was perfectly cooked and crispy, without being burnt, which we love and I forgot to ask for at 11:30 at night. The Buffalo knots are AMAZING! They're just like garlic knots but with buffalo sauce instead. Perfect bite size pieces. A must try, if you ask me. They deliver to homes and hotels in the area; I'm sad I can't take them back home with me. read more

Spent a long morning hiking and ordered pizza through Yelp from Pizza Jerks. Not paying enough attention, i made a mistake and setup the pizza toppings in a way that left nothing for my son to eat (picky kid). I mention this as i pick up the pizza and without a word, they add two slices exactly as my son wanted them without any additional charge. Its rare to see that these days.
