Shout out to all my pizza lovers out there... If you want to hear a joke about pizza then you aren't going to get one because it might be too cheesy. Haha just kidding! Where can I start? The ambiance of this place has an out of town, Christmasy type feel to it. The moment you walk in your eyes become bidazzled by the effect of the lightning and decor. Aside from all that tho, the seating is super cramped! We had no idea where to sit because the tables and chairs were so tightly spaced. We decided to choose a table with some space but it came with a little catch... little ants crawling around on the table. But we just stayed there and accommodated. Honestly, if it were busier I would not have stayed. When it came time to order, it took awhile. They also ran out of the pizza I wanted to try! So we were undecided by the next two pizza choices but the lady server said you can get half and half. I was like coooool. But then the catch for that is they charge you for the pizza that cost the most so you might as well get half/half of pizzas around the same price. Service was not attentive, and the pizza was super watery and moist. Only good in some areas... , also I needed Parmesan cheese and my friend tricked me and gave me the salt and said that it was Parmesan (why is the pizza so salty? The make good pizzas but they are not worth the lies and the waiting game. They lie to you and pretend you must wait for hours just because. LITERALLY. I called them to order two pizzas, they told me 30 mins. We got there thirty minutes after and they said *again* that it would be another 30 minutes. An whole hour pass and we were still waiting for the pizzas. As I write this review it is already an hour and 45 minutes, and counting. The time before this one, I ordered ñoquis and pizza. I am very picky about pizza,and have been a fan of this place for many years, but have never tried the other Italian food on their menu. There are many good pizza places around (obviously ecluding national chains) and Pizza Heaven is in our rotation. If you visit, the place is small and always very busy on the weekends which becomes even more cramped with carry out traffic. Therefore, on weekends, never expect a quiet relaxed visit. Be ready for noise and crowds, but good pizza. The pizza is New York type pie cooked in conventional gas ovens. When they are on their game, the specialty pizzas are very good. The Frank special is unique and a real treat. It is an olive, prosciutto and arugala pie, very different and very tasty. The Benie puzza and the Works pie are also good choices. Real calzones here too. Covid pressure caused them to start limited delivery which includes our neighborhood. Now, if we get something delivered, which is not often, it usually comes from PH. The pies do not travel as well as we would like, and the delivered product consistency is not always good. So, when it has to be wonderful, we suck it up and drive over. If we dont want to leave the house, we call for delivery and take a chance. If you want a break from one of the other terrific pizza choices in Broward, these guys deserve a shot. read more

The 4-star rating at this place only furthers my theory that people in Weston don't know good food, so every restaurant here gets a free 2-star bump. I got pizza to go and it was nothing short of disappointing. One slice was completely mashed up and folded over onto itself. Instead of not being lazy and remaking it properly, they proudly closed the box and sent it on its way. The pizza was so overloaded with cheese and olive oil that the microscopic excuse they used for a crust literally disintegrated beneath it. Anyone wanting a slice of this slop had to scrape it off the box. Truly disgusting. This pizza fell short of beautiful NY style that can be folded. It missed the mark as traditional Italian style with blistered crusts; and it surprisingly wasn't even as good as a Papa John's around the corner. Do yourself a favor if you're in Weston and want pizza: head to Anthony's. I made a mistake of trying something else and paid the price. Go somewhere that has enough pride to not send out half-crumbled slop out to its customers. read more

This place uses high quality ingredients and it shows in the taste. I have tried a pizza and calzone, both were delicious. The pizza is small so plan to get a few if you have a group. We got a pizza Richland with Parmesan, arugula, and prosciutto. Can't go wrong with that. It has a crispy crust. The Etna calzone is stuffed with mozzarella, a type of salami, and the perfect amount of ricotta (the ricotta is the best part). They serve it with cold tomato sauce which is a little unusual. They will be getting online ordering soon, which will be awesome. We ordered over the phone and had to repeat every word three times. read more

Ate from here 3 times and each time I ordered the Amalfi pizza, mainly because of the San Marzano tomato sauce. First time it was delicious and you could taste the zing and earthiness in the tomato sauce very on par with San Marzano tomatoes it was also kissed with a very good olive oil. Second time it was not fully cooked and the center of the pie was stuck to the box. The flavor was okay but not quite as good as the first time. Third time I went inside instead of ordering delivery. This time it didn't taste like San Marzano tomatoes and the center was watery like they didn't cook the sauce at all. There was no flavor from the kiss of olive oil I tasted with my first pie. I've only ordered takeout at the Weston location, I was inside physically at the Plantation location about a week ago, pizza at that time was very good very fresh, everyone loved it, love the quality toppings too, and the pear walnut salad and Salmon salad were good. All the times I ordered takeout from the Weston location it was great. I'm surprised the reviews are mixed, but to me, this is different and fresh, and I would order again. I don't know what to say about the small pizza photos in some of the reviews, as I only ever order large anywhere, and the large I got last time was way bigger than what they show, so, maybe order a diff size. This is not the typical corporate-style Italian pizza. You want that, order at Enzos. I've tried other pizza joints in the area it's similar to Enzos. I haven't tried DelVecchios but from the photos on yelp looks like the usual stuff. Pizza Lovers stands out. The only other different place is Zona Blu, they're Sardinian not Italian, they're good but pricey. I don't know who owns Pizza Lovers but they obviously care about the quality of their food. read more
