Walking through Old San Juan and needed to grab some dinner that wouldn't take too long. We were also looking for a different cuisine other than PR (crazy right). Pizza Pirata was a quick walk from where we were in OSJ so we decided to give it a try. My margarita was tasty. Very fresh. Didn't seem like a mix was used which is always nice. Others has the Peter Pan cocktail and pina colada - both enjoyed. For apps, we had the meatballs and the ravioli. The meatballs were just okay. The bread that accompanied it was better with the sauce. Ravioli was good. Pizza - we got the pepperoni with the hot honey. Nice little bit of heat. It was good. Visiting Old San Juan with my family and walked by this place. The decor is nice and it has some needed AC! Server was nice. We ordered the fettuccine with added chicken and the ravioli. Both if these dishes were bland. The red sauce on the ravioli taste like canned sauce. It had an unusual metal taste. I probably should have ordered pizza but my kids wanted pasta. Such great pizza. I walked past this restaurant and just eyed the pizza. Was glad I got a chance to try it. The pizza was very crispy and delicious. I ordered the Cristo. The service however was subpar. The server was a lady who instantly judged us for ordering the same thing. She was annoyed when we asked her to double check with the cook about a soy allergy, which I'm so glad she did because there was in-fact soy in the pizza dough.She only visited our table when she wanted us to leave how ever there was only one other table there. read more

I had the Hook Fettuccine and my partner had the plantain risotto (added skirt steak). The pasta and risotto were both flavorful and filling, although his skirt steak was fairly chewy. Never heard that for parties less than 6 or 8. Beer on tap was exclusively Ocean Lab, which is a Puerto Rican brewery, no complaints here; just FYI. A moderate selection of other beer is available in bottle. The wife and I had the Goat Cheese Marinara and Bread. I have to say that it was absolutely fantastic! Service was kind of slow, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I'm all good with island time, but we may have stayed longer if the beer came quicker. I would definitely give these guys another shot though. My friend and I were walking by and was craving for pizza. We thought this place was cute and interesting. Server was nice and sat us down, there were only a few of us in the place, ordered just the pizza and water. After a few minutes server interacted with us but then disappeared. We were waiting for our pizza and took over an hour, while another table that got there after us was getting their food faster. From what it seems like the manager or owner kept checking on them but we were left ignored and no apologies . I was very hungry and asked and came with the excused that the pizza burned. We had other plans for the night. We decided to leave and that's when they brought the pizza but manager/server even didn't even apologized. We felt like we were ghost. Luna Pizza was ok, it was definitely made in a rush (even took over an hour). From this experience I would've recommended this place since I travel a lot. But would not recommend at all. We visited this restaurant as we figured it would be a quick meal coming off a long day of traveling. Our appetizers came out individually & took nearly 30 minutes to get. There's no way wings & calamari should take that long. Then after being there an hr n half our pizzas never made it to the table. We were told by the MOD that our pizzas hadn't even been made yet to go in the oven. At this point we were ready to go. A portion of our bill was discounted & we basically paid for the drinks we had. I feel sorry for the waiters & waitresses bc they are often blamed for the bad service when ultimately it falls on the owners and management.
