The pizza was light and the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. The young girl waiting our our table was attentive and overall fabulous. Very very slow service. Not worth the wait for mediocre food. We came here for dinner after a day hiking in Bryce. The place seemed busy when we arrived and we waited a little while for a table. First, it took a long time for the waitress to come take out order. We tried flagging down people but I guess only a certain person is assigned for the table? This was only more frustrating since other tables who sat down after us got their orders taken before. From the time we sat down, it took 40 MINUTES FOR SIDE SALAD to arrive. This was a tiny salad with greens, cherry tomatoes, uncut baby carrots, 3 slices of cucumber and a couple slices of onion. The waitress didn't bring silverware so we had to wait even longer to start eating. We ordered wings and a pizza to share. When we arrived, we were all starving. Yet, we couldn't finish the pizza. The crust was too bready- not crisp enough. Too little toppings. Since the town is small, there aren't many food options which probably contribute to the high Yelp rating of this place. Came here after hiking in Bryce and Kodachrome Basin. My husband and I were starving after putting in about 11 miles. I ordered the chicken salad. I guess shame on me for ordering a chicken salad at a "pizza" place, but I refuse to eat pizza outside of my hometown area of NYC. The chicken in the salad was essentially Perdue chicken shortcuts - not even fresh grilled chicken. COME ON. Makes me wonder what the use on their pizza. We obviously ordered more than our stomachs could handle but the pizza was delicious. The BBQ chicken pizza did not have an overwhelmingly sweet taste to it - which I prefer so I was very happy with my choice. The pasta was average - nothing to rave about. Came here for some food after spending a day at Bryce Canyon and left super happy! There was a wait around dinner time but the staff was very friendly, food came out quick, portions were good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We ordered the special BBQ chicken pizza for the entree - which was delicious, and mozerella sticks and side salad as appetizers. When they get busy, ask for appetizers since they come out quickly so you're not drooling over other people's pizzas. I'm a dessert gal, so if you are too, ask about their dessert options since it varies by day! Will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth! My family and I came here twice while visiting Bryce Canyon. The food options were a bit dreary near our hotel (Ruby's Inn) so we were thrilled to find good pizza 15 min away. Since a lot of food in Bryce Canyon City had low Yelp ratings, we decide to head over to Tropic to give the Pizza Place a try. We didn't know if they were open late since it was New Year's Eve but they were. So my sister and I went in and ordered. The food was done fast, the service was nice and the place was super clean looking. If we had stayed another day I would have made the trip to come back here. They have some kind of item that's on not officially on their menu but is on a piece of paper taped to the menu that sounded intriguing. It was fried artichokes stuffed with cheese. These were absolutely amazing and I wish I had gotten more than one order. As for the rest of the food, all of it was delicious. We got a large half chicken bacon ranch, half meat lovers, a Calzone, boneless and bone-in wings and cheese bread and everything was great! I wish I had taken pictures but it was all eaten very quickly as everyone was hungry after being at park all day. read more

I'll start with the fact that the pizza, when it arrived, was quite good. However, we were "forgotten" about multiple times. No one came for 15 minutes to get our order. When we went to get someone they "forgot" we were there. They "forgot" our sodas. They never once checked in once we had food and were cold in general. One can't help but think it's the price of being visibly queer in rural Utah. While it wasn't empty, the place wasn't slammed, and they made time to check on other tables and some had food before we did even though they arrived later. This was not a pleasant experience, and no one else seemed to get the same treatment. I understand that your beliefs may be a certain way, but our money spends the same as anyone else's. Thankfully I will rarely be in the area anyway, but I'd gladly drive much farther for friendlier options that can remember we exist. read more

After watching the sunset from Bryce Canyon, we were headed to Grand Staircase-Escalante -- and found this perfect place to stop by and have a warm dinner. Thought they did a great job w/ COVID restrictions, as we were seated in a booth far away from other diners and felt very safe and secluded. We ordered a very large veggie cheese pizza with one extra requested topping (jalapenos) on top, and believed we would have leftovers for the next day's lunch. We were proven wrong after finishing nearly the entire pizza with only 2 slices left. Contrary to a couple of low reviews, I thought this place was great! My kids all enjoyed it as well. my 15-year old said it was more like a 4-star, but I disagree. I thought it was really good. They are still not allowing dine-in until June 1st, so we ordered ahead, and it was hot and ready when we got there, and we were able to eat out on the deck, which was my preference anyway, since it was about 75 degrees about 8 at night. We ordered the Bacon Chicken Ranch, and then we ordered a large that was half cheese and half vegitarian with chicken added. My personal favoraite, the Bacon Chicken Ranch. I still have two slices left over for breakfast. :-) Staff were super friendly, food was good, and I'm glad we were able to help support them during this darn Covid19 ordeal. read more

After 2 days of long hikes with our 10yo boy and 5yo girl, the Pizza Place was a very welcome spot for dinner! Excellent service with yummy pizza and tasty salads filled us up! It's so rare to find a perfect bread these days . Their marinara is worth mentioning. The pizza was a half and half of pizza sauce and pesto . The biggest highlight is that the staff was super friendly and was willing to customise to our taste. Like someone mentioned , their restroom is extremely clean. I'd say 3.5. Our server was nice but seemed to have a little trouble understanding English. We had 2 glasses of water and 2 place settings at our table of 5. I asked him for more, but after waiting about 15 minutes, I ended up going to another table and grabbing everything we needed myself. The women's restroom was out of paper towels, and the air dryer didn't work. It did have cute posters on the walls, though. The food came out quite slowly for the number of people that were in the restaurant at the time. My parents food came out about 15 minutes before our pizza, so they were almost done eating by the time we got our pizza. The veggie pizza was good, not great, not bad. The salad was mostly ice berg lettuce. Since this is one of the few places in town to eat, I'm sure they won't go out of business. They are owned by Bryce Canyon Inn, where we stayed, so it was convenient to walk next door. read more
