Chicago's Pizza with a Twist is a great place to either pick up dinner or eat in with a small group. Prices are fair considering its unique fusion. It also has a private parking lot which makes it easily accessible. If you want deep dish, I recommend you consider the longer time it takes to make deep dish, AND also consider the toppings and how a longer time may or may not impact its moisture. Service was meh - nothing above and beyond; just handed us our order with little words and a slightly off-putting 'tude. The concept of Indian-flavors fused with pizza sounded amazing to me! Execution was pretty good but not as "flavorful" as I had imagined in my head. The flavors were more subtle and not a flavor blast of Indian spices, etc. Crust was pretty good texture - nice and chewy and not dry. Chicken Naan was pretty good, but I wish it was bigger. Doughy get the outside has a nice gentle crunch on the edges. My typical go-to is thin crust and you can say that deep crust is not my favorite but this is superb! Not greasy but has the right "moisture" for a balanced consistency. I'd say that like most pizzas, it is best fresh off the oven. They make it in different spice levels: miles, medium, spicy and extra spicy. We ordered mild and it had the best spice type- subtle and lingering but in a great way! Okay now on to the flavor profiles. The chicken tikka masala greatly resembles the Indian dish and their pizza version is simply awesome. Delicate yet lots of flavor punch. The garlic chicken is my favorite. The white sauce balances the garlic earthiness flavor. So there it is! Hands down, this is the best fusion pizza I've tasted. However after having my first slice, I was surprised by how well all the different ingredients meshed made a pizza that I thoroughly enjoyed to the last slice.
