I've gotten take out from here numerous times, but tonight I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the Athens burger, first of all, they must've run out of buns because what I got were two dinner rolls, split in half and toasted. I guess bread is bread, but when you get a burger, you want the right buns! It came with two patties, which were nothing more than your cheap skinny frozen burgers, and barely there feta cheese. Highly recommend Pizzaria Gusto! I needed 6 pizzas for my sons birthday party for 11am on a Sunday. And even though they didn't open until 12pm, the guys there went in early just to help us out. And this was our first time ordering there. We made the order online and they made sure to call or text to confirm the details. Thank you to the two guys who came in early to get this done. Theres been a new owner / manager since September named Dimitri, he knows his pizza and subs pretty well. They have a huge burger with egg bacon and all the works on it for like 6$ and cheap slices for those looking for a quick bite. Sometimes when i wake up late i'll order a fresh bacon / sausage egg an cheese sub or omelette hot off the grill. doesn't get fresher than that for a breakfast sandwich on the west side. read more

The previous review surprises me in every aspect. I have eaten there numerous times as well as had deliveries and have never experienced any problems. The food has dramatically improved since the new ownership has taken over. The quality of ingredients has noticeably improved, more fresh. I also appreciate the improvements that were made within the pizzeria, more clean and a more modern feel. Everything I have ordered there from pizza to their fresh salads has kept me going back for more. I have recommended this establishment many times and feel comfortable doing so again and again. read more

This place is great. Everything I have ordered from then, and it's been a lot, is delicious. The buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite. It's spicy without being overwhelming and the blue cheese dressing they give on the side is out of this world. I would highly recommend trying that pizza if not for the blue cheese dressing alone. My other favorite dish is the chicken souvlaki dinner. The mix of chicken of vegetables I'd always cooked to perfection and has the right seasoning. The sauce has the right the right tang to it that is missing from many other souvlaki dishes I've tried. read more

I went in with a buddy a few days ago looking just to cop a slice. It turned out we were both hungry so the young lady behind the counter suggested a small cheese. Less than ten minutes later we were both chomping down hot cheese and gourmet dough. It was on the money, and for just $7.55, well within budget. The place was kinda small inside, but the people were clean and friendly so it was not a big deal. Stopped here on our way back home to Kentucky from Boston and the food was great!! Me and my girl ordered calzones, jalapeño poppers and they gave us a free cheese pizza for spending a certain amount. A little hole in the wall, not much space to dine in but it was great food, the Calzones were huge and it was all super fresh with solid service. 4/5 stars read more

Chris and the other staff are great, and the food they make is fantastic. The gyros are delicious, healthy, and perfect for lunch or a quick and inexpensive dinner. The pizza is great. Service is lacking. Ordered it off of foodler an hour and twenty five minutes ago. Call when an hour passed, asked if they knew where the address was--said he'd be there in a few minutes. A few minutes became 25 minutes. I work less than two miles away. I'd give it 1 stars but the pizza is good. Doesn't matter if it's busy--at least call me to tell me it's going to take longer than usual or let me know so I'm not hanging around at the front desk for over 45 min. read more

Total turn around. I support local businesses with all my energy and money and I am willing to keep going back to somewhere nearby and extending the benefit of the doubt - since my last unfortunate experience, this place has really stepped up it's game. The quality of the pizzas, the attention to details, there isn't a better...just, like, pizza in the city. It's got body, some sweetness to the sauce, an acceptable amount of grease - comforting. Pizzeria Gusto replaced the much beloved Gabriel's, but I continued going since it's up the block from my apartment. I'm glad I did! Sure, their pizza is nothing special. It's not amazing, but it certainly isn't bad. Admittedly I've only ordered fairly "normal" pizzas (cheese, tomato sauce, and some toppings) so I can't speak to how well they do their specialties. However, I've had their eggplant parm sub multiple times and it's really good. For a sandwich, it is hard to mess up, but it's also hard to stand out and Gusto does. Good, convenient, and not over priced. I only wish they were open later:). read more

My boyfriend and I decided to order from Pizzeria Gusto this past weekend on a very rainy night, as we were being lazy and wanted takeout. We ordered a large hawaiian pizza, tomato bruschetta, and greek salad. First of all- the cheapness factor of this place alone makes it 5-star worthy. The large, and extremely delicious pizza, was only 10 bucks! It was covered with tons of ham and pineapple, and not an over abundance of sauce, which I definitely prefer in my pizzas. It was great! The crust was also good, which can definitely make or break a pizza. The greek salad was huge and had a ton of feta, and the homemade dressing was very flavorful- overall, a delicious salad. The bruschetta was bursting with garlic and basil, I devoured it, and would definitely order it again. We will definitely be ordering from Pizzeria Gusto again! Pizzeria Gusto is nothing fancy, just a pizza and sandwich shop with a few tables and counter service, but dam, they really do the food right. I got the lamb gyro with french fries and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. With so many sandwich shops just serving reheated slop this was very refreshing. Its very clear that the cook is skilled and seems to care a great deal about the customers. At about 7 bucks for lunch this will definitely be a new favorite grease spot. read more

This is a great little authentic Greek Pizza place. I love the specialty pizzas! I am also a big fan of their wraps! Pizzeria Gusto is also great with catering.
