After discovering obvious termite damage in manufactured home I contacted several companies for evaluation. First company was a major company that pushed a lot of unnecessary work, had an excuse to not go under the house to check properly, and gave a high price with only a year warranty which was totally ridiculous. Second company played phone tag with them only by messenger as they never thought to actually call me so I missed a small window of opportunity to schedule a booking and then they never followed through to get another one with me. Was able to schedule very quickly the evaluation with 3rd company, Plateau Pest Solutions, and showed up on time with several texts during the day to confirm arrival. Tech happened to be the owner and he went through everything important for about an hour. There was no scare tactics or talk about what they weren't going to do but very calming conversation about a situation that had gotten out of hand. I felt calm in this company because of the seriousness and manner in which my problem was going to be fixed. After the inspection and pricing I made a quick decision to have them do the job simply because he got on the phone and made it work to have it scheduled just a few days later. I followed all the details of removal of certain things and put my trust in this company and in the end I was so happy and relieved I was right in my selection. Not sure the gophers were exterminated as only a week has passed since service. First time seemed ok but rep was supposed to come back the next week and no appt was made. After calling Plateau an appt was made and rep never showed up even after texting he would be there. We have used Plateau before with much better service. Perhaps this was an anomaly. The first time I had to call for an ant problem at a window that home remedies didn't resolve Plateau's treatment was completely effective. The second time(5 years later) the ants were coming out through the space between the kitchen sink and counter top and unfortunately after the treatment they migrated to the adjacent cabinet. Plateau returned sprayed and placed bait and the problem was resolved, hopefully for a long time. My only issue is that previously the indoor work was given a much longer time under warranty. read more

I called to book the termite inspection appointment, there were very nice to accommodate the inspection on the same day, which is greatly appreciated. I can't thank Steve, and the Plateau team enough. Over the weekend I discovered opossums were getting into my home to eat my cats food which made him mad while creating a disgusting mess. Disgusting is an understatement. I tried on my own to remedy the situation, but that didn't work, at all....... They hissed at me, ate my makeup, destroyed my bathroom, and pooped on my toothbrush! Yes you read that right! I basically didn't sleep for two nights and was a wreck. I called Plateau and the women who I spoke with were very helpful and sent their technician Steve out the same day of my call. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and immediately calmed me down explaining exactly how he would solve the problem. He inspected the situation both inside and out and determined that when I tried to fix the problem I had actually sealed one of them inside! He set traps accordingly and within two days removed both opossums from my property. I highly recommend Steve and Plateau. read more
